[Q] Help on ROM PORTING on MTK6582 - General Questions and Answers

Hi I got a MTK6582 device it's called Cloudfone Excite 502q, and I saw a same device that was called in Malaysia/Indonesia as Evercoss A7V. They already created a Galaxy S5 ROM, I was able to install the rom but what bugs me is the camera, it says could not connect to camera... I followed the tutorial and it doesn't work. I still have camera issues on the rom that they posted can anyone tell me where did I go wrong on porting?

[custom ROM] Haipad i9300

Hi folks,
does anybody knows if there is any custom rom for this device. It is an Haipad Mtk6577 I9300.
There should be jellybean rom and recovery somewhere, but I didn't find anything

Maybe there is no Rom specifically for the Haipad i9300, but maybe maybe some other ROM are compatible too. there are tons of this smartphone and a lot of them with JB...I assume there should be one good for me. Any idea?
You know I think I need to "save" my actual ROM in case of bad flashing...I gues it could be done with spflashtool...am I right?

I just want to know if there is any way by which I can get a custom ROM on it
Maybe porting cyanogenmod to it ?
P.S.: I don't have any android developing skill
most android device can be rooted and installed a custom rom, but for starters i think this will help you

But this tablet simply doesn't have any..

No, the ROM must be specifically built for your specific model number, using anything else will almost certainly brick your device.

[Completed] how to install vibe ROMs in lenovo s850?

I'm using lenovo s850 running Android 4.4.2 little older version compared to 5.0 & 6.0,
So I searched to update my android, and I found vibe rom for my device, which is posted by vibe ui, I downloaded it and flashed through recovery as they mentioned in the description but it didn't worked when flashing it gives error. And I'm attaching the Link to download the vibe rom, can any one help how to flash the rom?

I can't help you with this.
For one thing, I don't speak/read Chinese.
For the other and more important thing, that ROM didn't come from XDA, so you should probably sent the developer an email, or post to the site/forum that you found the ROM in.
