I'm having micromax q372 (unite 3).
I have stock ROM as lollipop 5.0, kernel version 3.10.54+ for my mt6582 chipset.
I want to port a CM13 based custom ROM to my device.
But I don't know what to do, since CM13 is marshmallow, and me having stock lollipop. Need a must help, please...

Hi I am currently using a device with 4.1.2 on it and want to port kitkat to it ( READ ON )
Currently custom roms available for my devices are ports from other devices like huawei y300 and g510.
Recently a Slimkat version has been released for both those devices and i want to port it to my device.
My question is how do i go about it?? I found many guides about porting roms of same android version but dont know if cross version porting is possible.

I would like to install Lollipop 5.1 ROM on my phone Micromax Xpress 2 which has 4.4.2.
As there is no custom ROM to install on the said phone, I would like to upgrade to Lollipop 5.1 without waiting for Micromax to provide the upgrade.
Is it possible?

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. First, please register so you can access all the good stuff here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/register.php. Firmware and roms are device specific so never try to flash something on your device that is not specifically made for it. Unfortunately there is not a specific forum for your device on XDA. And I can't find lollipop firmware or roms for your device. The best place to find help though is here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android.
Hello guys I've been searching for a Custom Rom/Recovery for my device but with no luck I cant find any(it seems like I am the only one using this phone. LOL)
Can you help me out? I prefer TWRP or CWM for recovery and Cyanogenmod for custom rom. but if cyanogenmod doesn't support my phone
any lollipop based ROMS is okay.

I have digiflip pro xt911 tablet. i want to update the tablet to Lollipop. I have searched the google extensively for custom ROM or stock lollipop ROM, but no luck . Even i tried to build one using ROM kitchen posted in this forum but not understood lot of instruction in the guide . (i am very new to android development). If any one has Lollipop custom ROM or u have built it please post here the step by step instructions to update.
Currently it is running kitkat 4.4.2, but i am fed-up with kitkat .. i want to update the tablet with lollipop or windows 10 (because it a x86 tablet with Z2580 intel chipset)
Please help even i mailed some of the developers here, but i did not receive any reply from them.

Hey, guys, I am new to Android ROM development and I want to know how I could port any ROM of Android One (eg CM13) to Lava Iris 504Q+ ? Both the devices have the same chipset but different screen size , resolution, and Camera so link to any guide would be highly appreciated
I have CM 13.0 of Android One, which I want to port and as a base ROM I have SP Flash tool flashable JB ROM or KitKat 4.4.2 custom ROM.
Which ROM should I use as a base ROM and is it possible to port LP or MM ROM using KK or JB as base ROM?
