How to use nb1 file to upgrade ROM

anyone can give me a hint, how to upgrade ROM using nb1 file. I did sucessfully upgrade using shipped ROM in FTP folder may times, but now i want to upgrade into CHS rom. unfortunatelly FTp folder does not have CHS ROM.
I read all articles regarding BigStorage upgrade, but so far no success. As far as i know upgrading using bigstorage, i have to use the same ROM version installed in the PDA ? am i right ?

I need a little help from your side. I am using a Krome Spy PM10B Windows Mobile. In a curiocity i have worngly upgraded my rom from this site http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-230279.html . After that i could not able switch on my phone. No display is comming out. Instead, it is showing "SERIAL" at top of the screen & "v 1. 02" at the bottom of the screen when connected via a charger. When connected through activesync, "USB" is showing in place of "SERIAL", but activesync could not detect my ppc.
Kindly advice me how to rollback to my original rom position so that i can operate it properly.. Plz help

You're stucked in bootloader mode.
Upgrade your ROM and it should work again!
Activesync is not the problem, you made something really stupid upgrading to a non-working ROM... Like using rocket fuel in your car... You can do it, but it's stupid because it may kill you and the car...
Just download the CORRECT ROM for your device (that's so easy!) and install it on your device.
0. Download a VALID ROM
1. Plug the device, SERIAL V1.xx -> USB (screen of device)
2. Run the ROM updater on the PC
3. Wait... don't unplug!
4. After some checks, it shall boot again like a new one

Really a grate thanks for your reply. Whenever i plug the device i comming to bootloader mode. Can you suggest me please where to get the valid rom for my Krome Spy. I ahve googled for it, but found lots of confusion in choosing the right one. Please help...

Help My Uni Stuck

After updating with Tomals 8.2, I softreset but then all blank
I get to bootloader in try to flas it again but CE updating stop in 7% and then error....
I try all the methods using mtty and use the tool...but no luck, it still stop at 10% when updating CE
Pls anybody help!!!!!

Have youtried with a previous Tomal ROM?
It worked for me in a similar problem

Have you removed your SIM and SD card, before trying to re-flash?

I did
I had removed SD card and SIM card, but it stil stuck at 10%. But if I updated the radio, it will finish 100%, whwn it comes to Ext Rom and CE update, it just finished at 10%. Did I Brick my uni ? anybody can help ?

giving ce rom update error?

Do a hard reset first and clear the phone by pressing 0 when promted
report back

Try to flash each part one at a time, not all of them at the same time.
Note that this ROM do not work with some extended rom and that blank page at first was the reason of that. Flash your extended rom with the tomal's own extended rom. You can find it...(oh no it has been removed, I will try to upload it for you). After flashing the extended rom try ato re-flash the rom and at last try to re-flash the radio (If you need it). Beware that flashing extended rom will erase your own extended rom so try to find one and decode its files to have your customization files back...

I have problem uploading file try to search for "Tomal_extrom" yourself and I will try to upload it...

Tried to flash Tomals ext ROM...but wont work too....I'm hopeless, maybe I should say goodbye to my uni,.....

Seems your DOC is corrupted and unable to write.
Use mtty tool and re-format it, I'm pretty sure that everything will be OK then. But make sure that you have disabled AS before executing mtty!

Do not try to use copy paste in MTTY, type every command.
Before doing this ( steps 1 to 17) beware that you must download an original rom to get the windows mobile rom, the radio rom and the extended rom ( see step 13).
Last time I took Tomal v8.2, his extended rom and radio 1.15, put all 3 in the RUU folder and runned the update utility. It will take arround 20 minutos to flash the 3 files. thx to TehPenguin you can get these files here: http://vidmes.com/xda/Uni/ROMs/Tomal/ and here: http://vidmes.com/xda/Uni/Radios/
Be advised that I've not read the other posts on the thread, so I don't know if you should try this process or not.

mtty do not format radio rom, so you don't need to re-flash it.

AS means active synchronize. Disable USB connection in AS. It has been written there bro...

so again googling does it support usb 2.0

I have a problem with my phone, during a ROM upgrade i received "Failed" on my screen and after reboot I see a white screen with some info about my phone, RRU text and at bottom an image with a chip.

make sure you phone is fully charged.
it happened to me once it stopped on the half way during installation bcoz of the low battery.
take out the battery, wait for a while, put it back, don't turn on, just charge.
I saw you got a perfect SPL, I think you can try all 3.5 RUU except the one comes with 1.76,0010
if you have a gold card, you can get any rom1.zip from above RUU to try it.
(i think rom1.zip)
don't forget to rename it to sappimg

How much should I keep the phone on charge ? The battery has a lot of power, it's almost full.
So the SPL from my attached image is good ? Can you recommend me a good ROM ?
I tried a few more ROMs but during the installation that screen persists and I receive the message :

I tried to make a gold card, but the VolumeDown+Power combination doesn't work. Also, I cannot boot into fast boot.
From that screen I suppose that the phones expects some kind of signal from RRU install but I don't know what to say ... I'm not an expert.

Can you please explain the steps you follow to fix the phone using the file in the link you provided?
Also your phone is a 32A or 32B?
I might need to try this too but would like to hear some more of how you did yours.

Isnt 1.76.0009 perfected?
Well something tells me you need to get the RUU which fit your phone. One with the same or higher SPL cause you got S-ON. Good luck with it!

My model is HTC Magic from Vodafone Romania.
To fix it I downloaded a ROM from here : http://www.htc.com/cz/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=246&cat=2&dl_id=776
Please note that this ROM is designed for models from Vodafone Romania.

I am trying to install MAGLDR 113 on my HTC HD2, but I click on ROMupdateutility it just stays at 0% forever. So, I checked my SPL version on which showed this

MICROP(TOUCH) 0X30
I tried to install Harspl 2.08 but with no luck
Is it I can't install because I have updated my ROM from HTC website.
Do I need to degrade my ROM to 2.08 ?!! If I have to then how I go on about it?

U HAVENT MENTION YOUR HD 2 VERSION IS IT T MOBILE 512 OR 1024 OR NORMAL HD 2 .SOME INFORMATION REQUIRED . u must be using t mobile hd 2 1024

to go into bootloader screen turn off your phone press volume down and switch on the phone this will enter into bootloader the one which u r talking about is malgdr menu so do the hspl and try the rest

truely your rom is an issue just downgrade:
here you go:
1. Turn on the phone holding down the volume down key till you arrive at the bootloader screen.
2. Plug cable into phone and plug into your computer.
3. Flash a stock rom via the RUU method
4.then run hspl
it will solve your problem for sure your rom doesnt seem to be correct as wwe is meant for india hd 2 u need to flash t mobile stock rom and 1 more thing u havent installed hspl so how did u install android via sd card.dont install anything till u are able to install hspl ,since u already made a mistake by installing android without hspl i dont know how u did it. just try the stock rom does your phone has a t mobile logo on top this is the main stuff since till now u never said which phone you are using t mobile 512 or 1024
if all doesnt work your radio is fine just install the correct rom and proceed only when u install hspl later installing android orelse your phone will go dead

just note the steps
1.stock rom needed (better)
2.radio is fine
3.install hspl (dont proceed until u r unable to install)
4.maldgr 1.13 or 1.11 (both installation is different) so note how to do it.
5.clockwork recovery depending on the android rom u want to use.
6.nand boot ur android rom prefrence ( all rom cannot cannot install through nand it has option to boot from sd card through malgdr)
7.if installing from sd card you need to create partition in sd card.
so let me know which process u r looking for and i will guide you accordingly first just install stock rom and which phone you have t mobile 1024 or 512 leo
just chk your message .

look you are still not replying on which t mobile do u have 512 or 1024 its very difficult to help u without knowing that secondly there was no need to change radio as that was the best u had earlier
go to :Settings, System, Device Information, Hardware Information and look at the Flash Size.or just say if u have red and green button for call or normal white buttons.u are messing it up by not replying properly if u let us know the correct inf ur problem will be solved
now definately it seems u have 512 leo with white call buttons
just reply on this and the rest will be done

look your spl 3.03 dont support android,wp7 etc so u need to flash stock rom having spl 2.08 /2.10 in order to proceed installing android with malgdr

I get to the 3-colored screen and it says:

MicroP(LED) 0x05

btw very similar to the previous case.
I get a good connecting by USB and HSPL4 starts perfectly.
I choose 2.08.HSPL and the green bar starts running. But when it is on full it went back again. After serveral forth and back I finally get a

Its a Vodafone branded HD2 with 512 MB with the latest original firmware DE 3.14.162.5

look it seems that you havent installed hspl till now but if you had suceeded in installing hspl than go back to stock rom 2.08/2.10 suggested follow the process here 1 by 1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477

another suggestion will be to hspl 3.03 instead 2.08 and then flash to stock rom spl 2.08 old version.

1.hspl
2.malgdr
3.clockwork recovery depending on the nand rom u choose
4.partitioning the sd card
5.boot android !enjoy

[Q] Cannot update my Desire HD to 2.3 because of Clockwork Recovery Mod

Hello good people,
I have unlocked HTC Desire HD,
It is unlocked.
One of my friends rooted it (although i don't understand what it means) and installed Clockwork Recovery Mod 3....
I have a system update for 2.3
I downloaded it and when I try to install it, system reboots and stops with triangle and exclamation mark inside it with android robot picture.
How can I completely remove this clockwork thing? I already uninstalled ROM manager. But when i do factory reset, this thing always appears....
please help!!!
All I want is get this system update for 2.3

A week ago I had the same problem .. after long searches I found the following solution: from tis site ,il trie to send to you via pm! I downlodad a room and I installed and then I managed to do update .... I hope to be helpful .. you how to install: After you got on your site above the specified version of software in .exe ,connect the phone to computer via USB and in your computer click 2times on the .exe rom and follow the instructions ,at the end of the process you shoud be abel tu upgrade ... if everything goes right! luck.
