Dop Upgrade Problem...Is there any one who can help?

Upgraded to Dop ROM form original Imate ROM. Now I can't get back. Upgrade is stuck at 95%..or I get Error [296] "Upgrade only This NBF cannot be used on your PDA Phone.. Please get newrer NBF file" . If flash Dop again it works, but refuses to flash any Imate. I guess I'm not the only one here having this problem...many have posetd this problem in different ways but now one gave a concrete answer.
Please let try to solve this.

whehe, i'll ask someone who flashed mine back to a JAMin (thought he did it with a-wizard, hope he can help you out).
only the OS itself can be flashed back, you manually have to replace the extended ROM with the JAmin one (total commander, delete existing extended ROM, transfer files through IR to exdended ROM, hard reset to install the extended ROM, bla).
the GSM ROM and the bootloaded itself cannot be flashed to an older version.
yeah, i know, it sucks

i'm the one who flashed the JAMin of tCC. In fact, it's not that difficult. Just follow these steps:
- execute enablerapi.cab on your device (search on the forum for this cab file)
- download awizard, extract
- copy the jamin os rom to awizard\rom\Jamin\
- start awizard.cmd, make sure your device is connected through activesync
- select option 'w' to write the os rom. just follow the instructions.
- the flashing can take up to 30 minutes so be patient
-if the flashing has finished hard reset your device
I've uploaded the jamin os and ext rom to

First let me thank you swartb for replying and trying to help by posting and uploading. And of course tCC who offerd to help in the first place.
Second, the link for the file you uploaded is not correct, and if you allow me i think this is the right one:

can you cid unlock after installing an older rom?

I don't remember if I did see that error message. But if do a hard reset after this error the os rom is not updated?
And be sure just to update the OS rom and not the other roms (radio, spl & extended) because that doesn;t work.

I have just completed this aWizard process and now need to hard reset, but the program "clear storage"is not there anymore.
How can I hard reset the prophet without the software?
I will post the steps here when it is done :wink:

Could ran the aWizard with the OS rom in the aWizard folder (not \aWizard\rom\jamin\ ) but could not find way to hard reset the prophet, so reflased back to Dopod.
Hope another person continues from here :wink:

Its because the CID of your device is still locked. And certainly you have IPL/SPL 2.00. or higher. Swart did it with no problem because he has an unlocked CID.
You have to downgrade your IPL/SPL to 1.xx (I still dont know the correct method) and then unlock CID and then you can flash any ROM you want

Thanks. Guess I can live with it for now. The Dpod rom is quite stable. No soft reset for 2 days and response looks like quicker than after soft-reset 8)

Thanks Tamagochi, Yes you are right, I have I IPL 1.00 and SPL 2.15.0000
The problem now is how to dowgrade form 2.xx to 1.xx. What are those methods that would help? I can try all of them and see if it works.

I take it you have tried a hard reset? WinMo 6.1? did you flash your rom? or is it the official HTC update as I read it only works on some versions of the touch and not others.

same problem here. doesnt get past the startup screen. after that only the small orange light goes on( and flshes of after 10secs for 1 sec). cant active sync. have tried hard reset, but doesnt change anything

How can I flash the ROM? I found a link through here that had be download the ROM I need, but in order to load it through Hard SPL (?) I need to have Active Sync detect the device...
Active Sync wont detect my device since it wont boot....is there a link with instructions to flash this ROM to the phone without Active Sync detecting the device?

go to the touch's section and read about this problem. it's pretty common.
besides, you can flash ROMs using bootloader, which you can find info on anywhere in this forum by using the search function.
there is a specific button combination for the touch to load bootloader.

I got a problem almost like this,

Did you HardSPL before flashing? Try switching from whatever you have right now to stock.

Are you certain that you are unlocked? The bootloader should have the word Cotulla somewhere in there and if the info that you posted is correct, then you are still locked...
Flash back to stock.

Look around in the HD2 section under development and you may see a sticky or two with instructions on where to get this.

Make sure you flash stock SPL from the HSPL hacker, you can find stock in the Wiki or on the HTC site

This is what i've done,
PB81100 HX-BC
Installed SPL 1.66.000 XE
Micro(LED) 0x05
Micro(Touch) 0x40
This is the stock SPL isn't it?
After installing 1.66.000 SPL, downloaded ;
Downloaded a stock ROM. LEO 1.66 NLD.
Installed it, after this it started untill windows mobile!
Butt after a few second it freezes again. Now, i've loaded the bootloader to check my SPL.
Now im trying to boot the phone again, butt again it freezes at the HTC start up screen.
Did something wrong again?
SPL 1.66.000 is a original SPL isn't it?

1.66 is a stock SPL, if you have that and a stock ROM, i would send it back to HTC for repair

Yup, if its from the wiki, or from HTC, it will be stock

Guys, i kept tryin to fix my phone last night ..
What happened ;
As you know, the phone didn't want to load WM 6.5.
It kept freezing at the HTC loading screen.
Loaded the bootloader ;
installed last night

I downloaded Several Roms but can't intall them completely my hard spl is 3.29 and rom version is 3.34 and os is wm6.1 wwe so whenever is tried wm6.5 Rom it stucks on 0%

Are you using the .exe file provided to flash?, in that case, try by flash a new ROM from your SD card. Rename the .nbh to KAISIMG.nbh, in your SD card (1 Gb is the best) and power on your phone by pressing and hold camera button and reset, then follow the instructions.
If you are going to WM6.5, flash first an original 6.1 ROM from your provider or HTC to cleanup the storage, and after the flash, hard reset your device.

yes that is a good sugestion..flash from SD card and place flash file to be on the root of you SD disk..i don't use PC for anywhere to flash Kaiser because can download from WiFi that files birect to SD card.Good luck!

Read the stickies!!!!!!! Then follow the flashing for noobs bit. It explains it all in perfect detail in there. Force it into usb mode or if that doesnt work, flash via sd.

What other HardSPL versions have you tried? Does it say USB on the screen when you are on the tri colour screen after changing HardSPL?
I've had problems doing it the sd card way in the past so I always use USB now and it's not failed once. Just try different hardSpl versions, that seems to be where you troubles lie.

Stuntdouble is right, remember when you search and flash different roms the cookers always post in their threads recommended hardspl and radio so you won't have any problems running their roms.
Also, please follow in detail every step in the flashing for noobs thread for hardspl flashing
Having that, I think nobody should have any problems since you only need to follow intructions in detail.

Have you un-locked the Kaiser?
I got the same problem when I got my TYTN II back from repair, I had to un-lockit again.

Hi everyone i am new here i just recently upgraded from a g1 to the touch pro 2 i have loaded the hardspl and newest radio but i cannot get a custom rom installed i have followed all the steps when i try ove computer it always says my ruu cannot open my rom and when i try by sdcard the bootloader screen starts to load sum #"s pop up but then it aborts and i think it says no file found or sumthn like that i have renamed the file RHODIMG.nbh and nuthn...can someone please help? maybe direct me to an custom ruu for a gsm..i would greatly appreciate any help...thank you..

i have gone thru it step by step and have the hard spl-0.85. 01 iNex, my radio is 4. 49. 25. 57...iven even used the custom ruu that is provided in the thread but it doesnt seem to work with any of the roms ive downloaded from here...and when i go thru sdcard it starts loading then i get a string of numbers at the top of screen 0068sumthn and then just stops and says nomfile i believe it switches really fast my card is formatted to fat 32 but nuthn...i really wna upgrade to another rom im really into it i have upgraded to wm 6.5 and it worked with the shipped ruu...if u could direct me to sum roms that have a ruu in the same folder id greatly appreciate it...and THANK YOU VERY MUCH for responding i didnt think id get one...

please please some one help me with this, i am trying to install magldr to use nand rom types for past 1 month but it is not going through, i posted my problem in some similar question and answer thread but no one ever answered so i decided to create thread finally,
my phone software details
HTC HD2 TMOUS
OS version - 5.2.21913(21913.5.0.94)
ROM - 3.14.531.1(04666) WWE
ROM DATE- sep 29 2010
Radio version - 2.15.50.14
Flash memory size - 1024 mb
i am attaching the images which showed on my phone during bootload.
when i try to update Magldr rom it shows me my rom image as 3.14.531.1 and Magldr image as 2.00.000.0 seems like lower version than mine i think this is the problem but i am not sure it turns up into boot-loader which is colored screen of red, green and blue and turns to improvement screen which is a percentage indicator and that is the end of process it never moves forward i cannot see any improvement in updating not even 1%, it just stops at 0% every time i wait for some 15 mins and i disconnect from usb.
please some one help my old sd version drains my battery just in stand my mode itself i need to charge 3 times every day. i hate wm 6.5 i dont even have any contacts in it.
i at least have tried 20 time updating, please guys some one save me from this hell.
poke me as many suggestions as possible.

i don't get u...first u talk abt MAGLDR ...then u talk abt old sd versions...
Have u performed a HARDSPL?...Put ur phone in bootloader mode n type out wat it show there...

did you have hspl3.must be have hspl3

try use the HARDSPL 2.08 to unlock first.. then install Magldr1.13 before you install the rom

no i said i am using sd version now but i have an issues with battery drain so i wanna move to NAND as i use only android i never use Windows, now the problem is i am trying to install MAGLDR as a process of installing NAND rom but it is not going through as per the issue details are in my original thread please read it so get my point.

4give me but i must 1st scold u for not using the site's search function or even taking out the time 2 read instructions carefully...I believe u got MAGLDR from here..If so then good, but did u not notice the clear instructions written in bold "You need HardSPL 2.08 before installation!"....Your not following basic instructions is wats giving u all d headache u r experiencing...U r truly lucky u haven't damaged (bricked) ur phone from playing wit it without performing a HARDSPL which can be read abt & found in dis thread...
Just download the "HSPL3_PKG.zip" in post number 2, unzip, load ur fone up in bootloader mode & connect 2 pc via usb...Run the HSPL3_PKG.exe and get ur device HSPL 2.08 unlocked....
After successful installation...reboot ur device 2 confirm ur spl now reads "2.08.HSPL" and d words CotullaHSPL are present.....Then flash try flashing MAGLDR 1.13 again...u should be successful..
Next time visit threads which contain stickies like "abt NAND"...Making sure u fully understand instructions already written...ROM devs and others have taken massive time out 2 write stuffs like this out, u should honor em by reading first....Also there are tons of videos out there + if ever in doubt? Google is ur friend.

No i did not download magldr from this source and i followed mdj Cyanogen rom video because i was about to try that in the video no where it showed about installing HSPL2.08 so i did not know that any ways u dont have to be sorry i believe u have rite to scold as ur helping me out with this, i believe thts a part of it. i went through ur thread i don't understand y it says 1024LEOs (from T-Mobile with 1024ROM) ARE NOT SUPPORTED becs in some other threads it said TMOUS with 1024 rom is compatable with all roms. this is so confusing im not a geek but trying to learn more.

if u can see in the picture i attached to thread my SPL-2.10 which seems to be upgraded version or some thing and my ROM - 3.14.531.1(04666) WWE seems to be too higher than what it is in MAGLDR, IS that a problem by any chance? sorry i am not good with these hanky panky stuff i mean software updating just getting started.

as far as I know HSPL3 is compatible with TMo too. as your SPL is 2.10.

Hey, its alryt...We both have the same device (TMobile HTC HD2 with 1024ROM) and so wateva has worked for me, should surely work for u as well..The thread on the ROM i use says its TMous compatible cuz it was made with our TMobile hd2's in mind and so if u would like 2 use it ...i could help u set it up safely on ur device as well....Hweva the steps r pretty str8 4ward.

You don't have 2 be a pro 2 get android on ur device...all u have 2 be is an observant reader & instructions (by devs) follower...Perform a HARDSPL on ur device first n let me know ur progress...After that, its all a matter of following the instructions present in CMYLXGO's ROM thread
