Does anybody know if I could use a micro usb adapter to plug in a usb and transfer files from my HTC One S to the flash drive?
Because I've just read that it's possible on some nexus devices and this would really be useful on vacations. Last summer I only had 100mb left on my One S.

So I recently got a Galaxy S7 and it comes with a nice and compact OTG micro USB adapter that I'd love to be able to use on my 6P as well. Thing is, the current USB C adapters I have (techmatte) don't allow it to work. The notification about a USB drive being connected just keeps popping up and going away very fast. The OTG adapter works on my GS7 and my GS3, so I'm ruling it as the techmatte adapter. I'd really like to find a reliable micro USB to C adapter so I can just keep using my micro USB devices in a pinch.
I've read a few topics on here, most seem to be old though or don't have the info I'm looking for. So I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction of something more recent and verified to be working how I want. Thanks.

I saw a few online to use usb-c adapter for SD card. Does anyone know if all work with Pixel XL or only certain ones?
Can't speak personally on the type c to micro SD, but what I do know works is getting a type c to a (female) and a micro SD card reader to plug into it.
I use this setup daily to transfer things between usb/SD/ and micro SD.

I do the same. I use the C to A (female) adapter that came with the Pixel XL and a small USB microSD reader like this one. Works well.
Just get one of those USB-C flash drives. Some of them also have a normal USB port so you can move things to your computer easily.

such a discomfort that otg cannot functioning via any cable.
It's highly inconvenient to remove my magnet adapter for magnet cable.

Hi guys, I got a usb 3.0 I used to use on my Samsung, now I got an adaptor for my op6, I have an issue, everything works great, but the videos are laggy, what could this be any ideas, adaptor fault, or the usb is too slow?
I got an adaptor with my Mayflash Magic-NS wireless adaptor. It's working nicely on my Switch and on my phone (yeah I can use various wireless controllers, some of which would not work well on android due to this device). Works for my USB disk on this phone nicely too.

I am using SanDisk dual USB-c on one side and regular USB-a on the other side make transfering files to/from phone >laptop a breeze. I had this USB drive for about 6 months and so far no issues
