[Q] HDMI output stopped working

I uses to be able to watch TV show stream and my videos on my TV via the g2x HDMI out even with root and eb and cm7 then I went back to stock for a bit and the HDMI stopped working on the same TV using the same cable now all I get is a blank screen and no sound but it says playing on other screen so it obviously recognizes the cable... has anyone else come across this?

Is there a way to use the HDMI out as an AV in?

Hi fellas,
I fly FPV and I wanted to use my Infuse to record the AV footage by splitting the video cable which goes to my monitor to my hdmi chord/dongle for the infuse.
The AV equipment has low resolution 640x480 if I'm lucky.
Would this idea work? There is no audio as my transmitter does not have a mic but If I could use a screen capture software on my phone to record my flights that would be fantastic. Is this possible? To use the HDMI dongle as an AV in to stream live video on my phone (assuming there is an app) basically using my phone as a DVR.
Thanks for any helpful response.
no but it would be cool to use a transmitter as reciever.... I mean if a PC needs a dedicated video capture device rather than the monitor-out going both ways then why would a cell phone be likely to work like that? if USB hosting gets figured out in the kernel and a USB video capture device was used the sure but the mhl is a 1 way device as far as anyone knows.
you may as well get a laptop and usb video capture card then copy the file to the phone.
Guess the laptop is as good as any it's a shame though
The transmitter that I was talking about is the transmitter on the aircraft transmitting the image which is being viewed on a monitor
I destroyed my gopro in a crash so I was looking for alternate solutions without having to buy anything as I am dirt poor
thanks a lot for your input

[Completed] [Q] USB Audio no longer working since Lollipop update

This is actually incredible. Before upgrading to Lollipop on Galaxy S5 I was able to plug my DAC (a Dragonfly 1.2) via USB OTG cable into my Galaxy S5 and enjoy pristine usb audio without a single hint of a problem - all apps working - MX Player, Inbuilt Music App, Poweramp etc - all working perfectly.
Then I upgrade to Lollipop, which is supposed to be great for USB Audio, and it doesn't work any more. At all. I am now back to using an app called USB Audio Player Pro, which allows you to use DAC audio devices to connect to headphones and (thank god!) this still works awesomely, but I was really enjoying all my apps making use of my USB audio device and now that has just been screwed over by the update.
There was so much pleasure in just plugging in a usb audio device into the phone via an OTG cable and everything working great, but now I just fall on my knees and shake my fists in the air bellowing "WWWHHHHYYYYYYY??!!!!"
Has this affected anyone else ? I've restarted, factory reset since the update and googled the crap outta this and all I can find are people saying "Yay! USB Audio functionality has been added with Lollipop".
From my perspective, this appears to be balls.
I'll happily downgrade back to the older android OS if its possible just to get this one happy function back.
Hi I think you should ask your question here instead. There are lots of active people in that forum that will give you some answers and hopefully a solution.
thank you and good luck

How to use Joying DVR camera on Intel Joying HU?

I purchased and installed an Joying DVR camera and connected to my 5.1.1 Intel Joying HU. I get video in the DVR app but I cannot seem to understand how to make it record. It did not come with any instructions. How do I use this device?

Click to collapse
Does anyone know?
I am having a difficult time trying to get this to work. I have inserted a 32 GB SD Card and I have three lights on the camera, One is solid green, the next is flashing red, and its always flashing, and the last is yellow... Another weird thing that is happening is, when I access the DVR App, I will get video, but if I select any of the buttons (the one that looks like a Camera) ... they all do nothing except the one on the far right that tells me it can't detect the SD card. Then if I leave the DVR app and come back, I no longer have video...
No other camera app seems to beable to detect the camera... any ideas?

[HELP] No sound input after connecting webcam to Android TV

The webcam works as expected when connected to the PC.
