It's in the OP.. In the AT&T folder. There's no lollipop TOT. You'll need to ota update to get it after flashing

Like I said the OP... If you follow the guide youd be stock. This method puts you back to 100% stock.

I would like to add , if you want to be rooted make sure after installing KitKat stock to root and then to install a custom stock based Rom like Cloudy or any of the stock based Roms here in XDA, if you install all the updates for lollipop you Won't be able to root and you'll have to go back to KitKat to root. I talk from experience.

Bad advice is not good. Lollipop is easily rooted.

If you are OK with keeping TWRP and root, you can go here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-lg-g3/development/rom-lg-d850-20f-lollipop-5-0-1-extras-t3052041
or here:

It will be much easier to flash one of these than to do the full stock restore back to kitkat

[Q] LG G2 D80020C 4.4.2 Loki or unlocked bootloader? Custom recovery?

So I recently got the Lg G2 on att and updated it to the 4.4.2 though the ota. I have wanted root since i got it and root just came out like yesterday and i got it rooted but there is not really many threads about a recovery on the ota kitkat update. I don't want to downgrade or do all that. I've been looking every day and would just like to know whenever one comes out for the Att Lg g2 d80020c 4.4.2 rooted no recovery. Oh and i didn't root or anything before i took the ota. And if there is a thread already just let me know
Loki will not work with 4.4.2 since LG closed the loophole. The only way to install recovery is to revert back to 4.2.2, root and install recovery then you can flash 4.4.2 stock roms using TWRP or CWM.
We will have to wait for Loki update or patches for 4.4.2 bootloader once the exploit is found.

I'm interested in running a custom Rom on my mpcs LG f6 (ms500). I'm a part timer at this, my understanding of code is devastatingly deficient.
I have a an l9 and another f6 that won't even turn on and I'm wondering where, even, to begin.
All are mpcs.
All three, including the one I'm writing this on presently, were/are rooted.
An update took out the non-working f6, and the l9 was my bad.
I'm now on a rooted f6 running battery booster pro, overclocked with freedom kernal, with roehsoft ram expander doubling my ram to 1608.
I realize my circumstances are all over the place, but, if anyone has the genuine benevolence to help me where they can; my gratitude will be unquantifiable.

Installed Open Euro d80220D on AT&T D800

I extracted and cooked the original rom stock rom (kdz) in the dsixda kitchen and was able to install it on my D800 with no issues at all, except WiFi doesn't work. everything else works. I tried replacing files from modules/libs folder of a working ROM but wifi still doesnt work. I have D800 kernel installed and also tried different non stock kernels still no dice.
Any help is appreciated.

If you are talking about flashing stock rom on the AT&T LG using LG flash tool than I dont think you can flash any other rom besides the D800 or else you will brick it. Now if you mean flashing in a rom in custom recovery then yes its possible to flash euro roms (obviously)
Some one correct me If im wrong.

yes im talking about kdz / tot, and not custom roms.
still waiting for definite answer i know it can be done if i go with my previous experiences of 2 phones, but i will not go ahead unless i get either one of these answers by first hand experience.
1: can i flash 802 kdz/tot on d800?
2: if i fail at 1 can i go back and flash 800 tot, will everything be normal after?
can you upload that rom?
i cant do the Second method to restore my D800 i cant find a kdz file for the D800

updated to android 6.0 can i go back to a custom rom android 5.1,1

i need to go back
yes you can. simply flash any custom rom u like..
Did you find any issues in MM?
Don't do it. First of all check if the bootloader got updated. Newer bootloader won't accept 5.1.1. If you updated via OTA you can't go back. Only option is CM13.

Roll back to LOLLIPOP available?

I'm in the process of temp root to extract boot img for a dev that still does work for our phone. He'll most likely use that to continue development for AutoRec but after I'm done with that I think I'm about done with having nothing available in terms of software on Marshmallow. Considering rolling back to Lollipop. Is it gonna be a pain and are the resources readily available?

I don't think there's any antiroll back. But you can't rollback to lollipop. You'd have to roll back to KitKat and OTA update to lollipop as long as your using an AT&T sim.

If I click OTA update then it'll bring me all the way back up to Marshmallow though right? What would make it stop at Lollipop?

You seem like you know you're stuff so let me ask you something. If there's no perm root for Marshmallow why are people still making Marshmallow ROMs? What's the benefit in running a custom ROM with no recovery, backups or root permission?
you NEED root and recovery to load custom roms. people make marshmallow roms because they're tried/true/stable. the OTA updates happen in stages. at&t has no single large update that brings you from KK straight to MM, you have a couple updates in-between though not sure how many... at least one!
@hyelton - is there no root for stock MM yet or do I have to downgrade using LG tool in windows then root?

Stock marshmallow KDZ

Hello I plan on returning back to stock and I would prefer the stock 6.0 marshmallow ROM. I can't find a marshmallow kdz anywhere online, is there someone who can upload It for me?

[emoji52] that's because the AT&T model is TOT only. And you must flash KitKat and OTA update to MM with an AT&T or AT&T prepaid sim. It's brought up here at least once a week. The newest firmware possible to flash is KitKat sadly.

Okay well can you point me to a stock KitKat ROM then so I can flash it and take the ota?

You would follow my LG G3 back to stock guide. And use flashtool to flash it in download mode. You are using the phone on AT&T correct ?
What rom where you running before? If cm or something not based on the D850 you'll first need to flash a rom based on the D850 to avoid any issues.
