Just in the last couple weeks, both my M8 (rooted, S-Off, running Scott's CleanRom) and my wife's M8 (bone stock with all current updates) have started having Bluetooth issues. Both were working normally, then mine started acting fussy with my Plantronics Voyager Legend headset (will connect immediately, then disconnect, say "no phone found", then re-connect after a minute or so), and my wife's will not readily connect with the Bluetooth in her late-model Toyota (which was working fine, before).
I can't think of what might be causing this, other than some Android/HTC update that has partially broken Bluetooth.
Any ideas?

Was just mucking about with Bluetooth and closed the tablet in it's dock, came back after about an hour to find that my wifi was disconnected and the tablet no longer recognized the dock. I don't believe I accidently hit the wifi disconnect key.Reseating the tablet and wifi restored working order but I hope this isn't the start of issues.
This is running stock, with the latest firmware update
I'm afraid this is fairly standard. My dock was flawless for the first 36 hours now it loses wifi and and stops responding. I believe there is a firmware fix but I don't have it yet (think it is just for US?). Search this forum you will find plenty of people complaining about exactly the same issues.

I heard about my friend update the newest FW-V8.2.3.13 with Dock 0209 to be worked fine.
So the wife and I have each had a Xoom FE since late October, last night my Xoom began having issues staying connected to wifi. I thought it might be an issue with our alarm system, that afternoon a wireless alarm monitor was added so we could do away with our home phone. The wife brought her Xoom into the bedroom and hers works fine, so I moved into the pc room to test it and with direct line of sight and full signal I still can't stay connected. I turned on the mobile hotspot on my phone and connected to it on my Xoom and surfed the web just fine.
I've always had issues with both of them initially connecting upon waking from sleep, but simply turning wifi off/on fixes it and it stays connected until the next time it sleeps for any amount of time more than 30 minutes. This was different, it would connect, start to load a page, lag lag lag, load a little more, lag lag lag, load a little more, maybe load entirely or give an error about connectivity. Again, wifes sitting right next to me in the same room, same network works fine.
I don't believe it's an issue with my Xoom, I haven't rooted or installed any new updates or programs. It was working fine one night and then the next night it's having connectivity issues. My wifes works fine on the same network with the same settings. My Xoom will connect to my cell phones mobile hotspot. I will try my Xoom at another location soon to see how it likes other wireless networks but as it will connect to my phones I don't think it will be a problem elsewhere.
Cliff notes: My Xoom doesn't want to play with my wireless router anymore but my wifes still works.
And last night it was back to working fine. I shut it off for the night after having the issues and re-started it last night around 8pm and it worked like it always has, so I don't know what was causing the issues but it seems to have fixed itself.
I had a similar issue with my rooted Xoom on the latest Tiamat GB release. I tries reflashing and few times with the same issues. I've now upgraded to the ICS beta roms and not only is the WiFi working, but its better then ever with much better reception. I wish I knew what the original issue was though.
mine was doing that the other night, but only when i had the charger plugged in.
worked fine every time i unplugged it...
All I did was go to the android market and found a actual wifi widget and always had it turned on. It works flawlessly. Hope that works if nothing else.

Sometimes these things happen, if it's working fine now I wouldn't think anything of it. These are just like computers, they need to be restarted every now and then. I wish my Xoom FE would work. I can't get my wifi to work for crap no matter what I do.
I have an S6 on VZW and I am having all kinds of issues with the connection to my Ram truck's UConnect system. It will randomly drop connection, then re-connect. It will do this mid-call sometimes, forcing me to drop the call.
I am rooted, running CleanROM 1.5, but I had the problem on the stock ROM.
I previously had an OG Moto X then the 2014 X and never once had an issue - it always worked perfectly.
Is there some bluetooth setting on the phone that can be tweaked to allow this to work properly, or do I need to get a new phone?
TIA.
Hey guys I have d6603 and some time ago my Wifi and Bt stopped working for no reason. Soon after my phone just died (sudden death, but I was able to resolve that matter). The wifi and Bt problem still haunts me. Do You have any ideas what might have happened? I did root, unlocked bootloader, flashed some custom roms afterwards. I thought the chip burned, but for some reason after I powered up my phone from sudden death, the wifi was normally working for about 1 minute and then died again. That would exclude the burned chip I think (I may be wrong ofcourse).
Hi Everyone,
I came from a TMobile One Plus 7 on 9.5.5 and changed it into the international version running 9.5.7, since doing so my phones bluetooth will work but it disconnects every 30 seconds. For instance in my car it'll connect for 30 seconds, and then disconnect, then connect, and disconnect, it does this over and over and over again.
I tried unpairing and repairing, it worked for a bit and then the problem continued. I tried kicking it to airplane mode, problem continued.
Any one else having this issue?
Haven't encountered this myself on 9.5.7 or any other version. Might want to just try a restore to see if that will fix it.
All fine here, pure international version though
I'm on T-Mo too and got my phone sim unlocked and went to the International version 9.5.7 yesterday. I did NOT unlock bootloader or root so I don't know if that matters. In any case, I use 3 BT devices (one for work, home, and in the car) and I have had no issues with BT at all.
Definitely try a restore. Something could be messed up in the software especially if it was working fine while on TMO.
This is one of the many issues I am facing as well. I connect to blue tooth in my car, either through the car stereo, or a head set and while talking on the phone it will just randomly switch back to the phone speaker. It is super annoying when I am on the phone and it seems like the other person hung up, or I lost the call. I have had multiple business calls that I was on where the other person hung up and I could not get back in touch with them.
