Hi Everyone,
I came from a TMobile One Plus 7 on 9.5.5 and changed it into the international version running 9.5.7, since doing so my phones bluetooth will work but it disconnects every 30 seconds. For instance in my car it'll connect for 30 seconds, and then disconnect, then connect, and disconnect, it does this over and over and over again.
I tried unpairing and repairing, it worked for a bit and then the problem continued. I tried kicking it to airplane mode, problem continued.
Any one else having this issue?
Haven't encountered this myself on 9.5.7 or any other version. Might want to just try a restore to see if that will fix it.
All fine here, pure international version though
I'm on T-Mo too and got my phone sim unlocked and went to the International version 9.5.7 yesterday. I did NOT unlock bootloader or root so I don't know if that matters. In any case, I use 3 BT devices (one for work, home, and in the car) and I have had no issues with BT at all.
Definitely try a restore. Something could be messed up in the software especially if it was working fine while on TMO.
This is one of the many issues I am facing as well. I connect to blue tooth in my car, either through the car stereo, or a head set and while talking on the phone it will just randomly switch back to the phone speaker. It is super annoying when I am on the phone and it seems like the other person hung up, or I lost the call. I have had multiple business calls that I was on where the other person hung up and I could not get back in touch with them.

So ever since I received my One X when it first came out, the phone would drop connection in certain areas and then never reconnect. An update has since slightly fixed it, so now it will sometimes reconnect, sometimes get stuck on Edge permanently until rebooting or until toggling airplane mode. I went through 3 phones swapping at the AT&T store before the 30 days were up, but all three did the same thing. My Xperia X10 was perfectly fine.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had experience with this issue, if replacing their phone fixed it or not (I'm planning on warranty-swapping anyway because of a bright spot on the screen that showed up). I'm worried that for the snowboarding season my phone will give up on an already sketchy network when I need communication with my friends on the mountain.
Hello,
I'm asking for some help to diagnose my call problems on UMTS.
First of all, three things happened recently, and let's assume that they happened roughly at the same time:
I dropped my Nexus 5 on concrete shattering the screen completely;
Google released Lollipop which some people believe has problems with 3G and LTE;
I'm using a rather old SIM card manually cut to fit micro-SIM dimensions.
About two days after receiving my Nexus 5 back from guys servicing it (new LCD screen) I had a telephone conversation that was disconnecting once every minute or two. There was no problem recalling though. The same day later I noticed that dialer app says "Emergency calls only" which was pretty weird. I was on Cyanogenmod 11, some recent nightly back then.
My first guess - revert to earlier nightly via TWRP. It didn't help - I was still on emergency calls only and nobody was able to call me. However, I could browse Internet without any problems on 3G.
Second guess - clean flash stock 5.0.1. It didn't help too, however calling went back on for some time (several minutes) before breaking back to "Emergency calls only".
Third guess - buy a starter SIM and check if it works. It did at first but stopped after an hour or so.
Fourth guess - bring the phone back to guys servicing the LCD to check antennas. I've left it for two days. It was opened and antennas checked. Everything was fine, not even a bent flex.
For all this time when on 3G/LTE data transmission worked flawlessly. I could download Google Maps, browse the Internet, whatever. It's just the very basic phone function that acts weird - as if I wasn't registered to a network. Everything seems to work fine on 2G, except for very rare disconnects (once per two, or three days).
So, considering it's pretty weird I'm seeking for help - could it be possible that after hitting concrete something broke down on the motherboard that results in such weird behavior? Or is, perhaps, my retro-SIM dying? Any ideas? Maybe flashing a well-tested radio ROM? Diagnostic apps?
All of a sudden I've been having bluetooth issues. The range of the bluetooth is very weak for my headphones. It is barely 2 feet. And if it's not in a direct line of sight the playback is very choppy. The range extends if i turn off the wifi - but it's nowhere near what it was before having this issue. My Gear 2 began to constantly connect and reconnect as well. But I'm thinking this only happened at home when the phone's wifi was turned on. It stopped happening once I turned the wifi off (but the range doesn't seem to be as far as it used to be). All of this just started happening today and I've had the phone for a little over a month (all bluetooth devices connected since day one). Ive been looking for solutions and tried clearing the phone's cache, the bluetooth's data and cache and unpairing all of the devices. Can anybody else offer any other suggestions? I'm really trying to avoid having tmobile replace it as i do not want to receive a reburbished model.
ANy luck. I have this issue too. I also notice its tied to random wifi drop outs as well
Posts around the net and other Note 5 forums here are saying it's related to the latest update Samsung released.
Wireless charging not staying connected
I also am experiencing that the wireless charging is not staying connected. I am using the samsung wireless charger and never had a problem before. But my family is not having a problem with their note 5. This is leading me to believe that it is not due to the latest update.
Just call T-Mobile and explain the situation, there is a service bulletin that their techs are aware of. Request for a replacement. Make you backup all your apps and data before your replacement arrives. I tried to Odin back to stock and this still didn't fix my bluetooth problem, luckily i had my Nexus 6 that i could pop my T-Mobile sim in and bluetooth is great now.

I'll probabably wind up having to do that. But I'll hold out hope that it's a software issue (I'm really trying to avoid getting a refurbished replacement). What's interesting is today as I was going to work I didn't experience any of these problems (phone was in pocket and no bluetooth dropouts on headset or gear 2 watch). Placed my phone on a wireless charger at work (a Choetech fast charger) and didn't have any problems. I'm probably reaching but now I'm wondering if there is something going on in my house that is spooking my phone:laugh:: I'm going to monitor it throughout the day and see what happens once I get home.
edit: spoke to soon as my headset disconnected (although watch hasn't - yet)

What's a nexus 6?
T-Mobile sent me a brand new replacement phone not a refurbished phone. This was a brand new model in the original box with all the accessories. I downloaded all the updates and my Bluetooth is back! The replacement phone was on update COI5 by the way.
Hi suddenly my WiFi stopped working now I am not able to connect to any WiFi network.
Any help would be appreciated.

As of today I am having the same issue; I have tried multiple networks to no avail. Booting into safemode and turning on/off wifi does not work. If I find a solution I will update this post accordingly.
Me too. I believe it happened after I installed the May security update.
Just started happening to me about 4 hours ago. First it went in and out a couple times but I was within say ten feet of the router. Now I'm one room away, but have line of sight to to the router, and I have no Wi-Fi connection. It will come up as poor with no reception and then connect but never get internet. LTE works fine, wifi worked fine all day even.
Not working WiFi. I can not even turn the WiFi tumbler ON, some security updates Fixed Bluetooth. Do you guys have the same issue?
My wifi also stopped working. I was on P beta and it was working fine but yesterday simply stopped.
I rolled back to 8.1, same problem. Rolled back to 7.1 and nothing.
It only gets wifi if place my phone on top of my router.
You guys think it is hardware related? Because it didnt fell or anything, it just stopped working overnight.
Same, it happened after I upgraded to P
My wifi stopped working too. I tried everything.. it will not connect to any wireless access point anywere
I tried going back to stock image 9.0 and tested NDE63V (Standard) and still nothing.
I get and see signals but fails to connect.
any ideas?
dam...this sucks..time to dump this pixel and buy something else
I looked on eBay.. a few listed as Bad WiFi
Apparently it's fairly common on eBay and on the forums with no fix for it
Folks,
I am curious if anyone else is having some of the issues I've been experiencing. I am not happy with this phone overall. I am having lots of problems with it:
- HotSpot - I originally found a hotspot issue with this phone, that took them a few weeks to resolve. But even after they've resolved it, I have other issues. The biggest is that after some period of time, my laptop will not get data through the phone. I've tried different laptops. The laptop shows that it is still connected to the phone's wifi but no data. The fix is to disconnect the laptop from the hotspot and then reconnect. This is an issue for me as I use this for work to provide customer demos. In order to get to my lab, I need to make 2 VPN hops. (1 into work and then 1 into my lab) When I disconnect and reconnect my laptop the hotspot, I have to go through all of that again. This problem only affects the connected device. So when the laptop stops "working", the phone can send/receive data just fine. If I kick off a speedtest, it looks good.
- GPS issues - The GPS accuracy seems to drift. Lots of times when I am using Waze, it has me in completely different places going in different directions.
- Phone issues - I drop calls often. I believe (but not 100% sure) that this happens when it uses wi-fi calling. (I just turned off wifi calling, so I'll see how it goes)
- Phone issues pt. 2 - Sometimes I get an error message "Mobile network is unavailable" and I cannot make or receive calls. A reboot fixes this.
Been a huge LG phone fan since the G2 (even loved the G4 despite the bootlooping), but this phone makes me want to throw it against the wall
Hello! You may want to turn off the default 5 minutes timeout. I think this is the problem. Check attached screenshots.

It's not turning off as I have the timeout set to Never Turns Off.
Thanks
I am having the same issue. People have told me that they tried to call me but phone never rang. It also rang on their end and then went to VM. So people assume that I got a missed call but I didn't.
I also at time show no reception. I would have to go into auto connection to network and then it starts working again.
This is really screwing up my business.
I have the same problem with missing calls (never rings) or I can't make a call. Also, sometimes I can hear the other person clearly but they can't hear me or I sound terrible on their end. However, I have an LG V30 (lurking here because I'm looking to buy a V50) so I don't think it has to do with the phone as much as it's Verizon's coverage. For the last 8+ months this issue has gotten worse in my area. I was thinking it was the phone, but I think it's Verizon.
Edit: Just in case it matters, I'm still on the original grandfathered UDP
I must clarify that this issue only pertains when I am home. For some reason, when I loose Verizon connection because the wifi is being used or a dead spot in my house. The mobile connection won't come back on until I manuallly have to reconnect.
I used to have Verizon fios at home and never had issues before but as soon as i switched to optimum this issue might be because of that.
Outside of my home, I don't have any issues with missed calls.

No issues whatsoever on Korean models.
