[Completed] scary problem with my zte force please help - XDA Assist

OK so I have a rooted zte force (aroura in other countreys) and I was getting the insufficient storage error while trying to install an app I have room for 20 of so I looked around and found out it had to do with the cache so I shut down my phone the right way by holding the power button and selecting shut down, it shut down just fine I'm shutting it down so I can boot into recovery to clear the system cache (for those of you who don't know the ZTE force comes stock with clockwork mod recovery pre installed) *note I have had a problem getting my phone to start up before but it was just being stubborn as far as I can tell, but I tryed to boot into recovery by holding volume up and power the led flashed once then stayed solid and wouldent do anything so I took the battery out plugged it in put the battery back in then waited until it vibrated so I could unplug it but when it showed the boot logo I saw 3 soft lines going down the right side of the screen about a millimeter apart one red one blue and one green and the Android logo looked like an old TV in the movies with the lines going through it and they were moving downward but they strange thing is it went through the custom boot animation I installed perfectly and when I unlocked my phone it was 100% DEAD it was almost half full when I turned it off and I went through my settings to make sure and it said 0% charging (AC) and its working fine because I'm posting this from my ZTE force and its been on the charger the whole time and its charging normally PLEASE HELP ME!

[Q] Phone just quit working?

Anyone that can provide any insight will be greatly appreciated!
So I was sitting on my couch watching TV and on my phone, transferring pics to the sdcard, and right after a file transfer it just shutoff. Went dark. I held down the power button and it vibrated, but nothing else. Same with reboot recovery (Vol up, power, home) and download (Vol down and Home). When I plug it into my comp it will vibrate about every 6 seconds or so and flash the battery charging with a loading circle and then dissapper, and then a battery charging logo with no loading circle than dissappear. By the time thats over it vibrates again.
I figured it was a soft brick, so opened odin and tried to get that to work, but there is no communication with the phone.
Does anyone know what is going on? I am pretty confused on what is happening, and any info will greatly help.
What rom?

So will it go into download mode? If not does your computer ask for any drivers when plugged in and what device name?

Have you tried charging it in the wall charger for 10 minutes?

The phone went stupid i get this occasionally. With the phone unplugged, pull the battery for a few seconds. While the battery is out hold power like u want to turn it on(probably not needed but doesnt hurt). Put the battery back in and hold volume dwn, home + power but when you get the warning screen press volume down instead of up. Phone will shut off and reboot to the system.
If this works but the phone goes back into the loop rather than booting, repeat the steps but at the last part hit volume up to go into dl mode and reflash the stock rom
Well apparently my phone wasnt really broken after all. It decided to go completely dead at 18% battery. I have never heard of this before 18% battery drop... But I let it charge for some time and it started acting normal, so I turned it on and it worked fine, just had 2% battery and charging. Dont know what the cause was, but battery is doing fine today.

[Q] Can't boot

So I've had my transformer laying around living its own life for a bit, it's been a faily temperatured room, and it has had some power left on it. So today I picked it up and tried to boot it, it was fairly cold compared to my body heat, but it wasn't that cold again. Nothing happened, so I put it to charge for a bit and I saw the yellow/orange light, indicating it was charging. But it still wouldn't boot after that. So I am thinking if this is due to the low/normal temp it has been in, or the button is simply broken by itself? Like are there anyways other than the normal power button to turn it on? I know adb isn't running when the phone is fully turned off. But sending it in wouldn't be too good neither as it isn't running the stock ROM. Any help would be appreciated

Edit:
So just tried booting it on again while it was charging, and saw the yellow/orange indicator blinking two times as I was holding it, which seems like the power button isn't hurt. And last time I booted it as said, it worked perfectly fine...

[Q] Help!!!! Htc Butterfly S will not go on.

I have problems with an HTC Butterfly S that i recently purchased from a second hand source.
the phone came intact but still had a lot of the previous users information and other things on it so in trying to format and erase all the data, it for some reason got stuck after the htc start up screen and stayed there for a while. i knew something had gone wrong so i decided to reboot or attempt to reboot it. from here, its been failing to go on. iv tried holding in the power button for 10seconds but it just vibrates and thats it. also tried the resetting it by holding in the volume down button and power but still nothing.
the only time it is responsive is when i connect it to a charger and do the same volume down+power button for about a minute. what happens here is a battery with a lightening bolt appears on the screen but still nothing from there.
Assistance will be highly appreciated. :crying::crying::crying::crying:
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

Issue with Sony Xperia M4A4 Aqua (E2303)

Hello guys!
Yesterday I wanted to root my phone following these instructions (sorry link can't be posted dues to I'm just a newbie here) but post was on dottech dot org.
I did everything that was necessary for preparing the phone, however I stucked at step 8.
I flashed the original .128 firmware to my phone, and when I powered it on, I was delighted. When I realized that it won't boot at all, I got an idea, simply to wait. I waited over 20 minutes, nothing happened, stuck on T-mobile logo. For the rest of the time I left it on charger, and unfortunately I am unable to power it off since it has built-in battery.... I tried to power off by long pressing power button, nothing happened. I tried again to flash it, but when it asks me to plug the phone to the usb in case to get in flashmode, it says battery has to charge, so it's discharged... I plug it to charger one more time, but as soon as it gets enough power, it tries to start itself, and I can't power it off...
It gets really hot at the back panel, and as it discharges, everything is happening again....
Please help me to get back my phone working!
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
(Sorry, it's M4 Aqua actually)

EDIT: I am able to flash kernels to phone if I let it charge for about 10 minutes then enter flashmode and I keep pressing volume down + power for about 5 minutes (as it would start itself.) BUT still doesn't boot up. Freezes at the T-mobile logo. Please help.
Get your phone's box then search it's model on Google for firmwares that you can flash through fastboot etc

Battery dead, not charging, stuck on "low battery screen", bootloops with forceboot

Battery dead, not charging, stuck on "low battery screen", bootloops with forceboot
Hello people, this is my very first post on xda, even though I've been lurking around for about a year. The community has helped me a lot, I'd like to thank you all for that.
Back on topic though! My error seems to be very similar to the one here.
I was watching some YouTube, battery sitting on a respectable 85%, when it suddenly shut off. Not the usual "shutting down for low battery" kind of shutting down, it was istantaneous, more like the battery was unplugged from the phone. Which is clearly impossible. I tried to boot it using the power button to no avail. I connected it to the charger, and the "the battery is too low" screen popped up. I left it at that for about 45 minutes, then unplugged from the charger and tried to boot. No success. The battery didn't even charge; the charger should be is fully working.
So I tried leaving it plugged to the charger and force boot the phone via volume down and power button; it attempted to boot, but stopped midway through, bootlooping until I unplug it, at that point it shuts off again.
The loop goes like this: OnePlus white logo (normal when you boot), radioactive kernel loading, reboot and repeat. That happens, again, until I unplug it from the charger. Then it shuts off.
EDIT: If I try to get into bootloader instead (volume up + power), after about 8 seconds of me pressing the buttons the screen just shuts off and doesn't react to any more presses (even while plugged). If I unplug and replug it to the charger, I'm back to square one (low battery, please charge).
PC doesn't recognize it. It makes the "the battery is low" screen pop up, but nothing else.
Here's some phone information in case you need them.
Phone info:
Rom: NucleaRom 1.3 (+ Radioactive kernel which comes with it) got it from here
Xposed modules: Youtube Background Playback, AdAway
Root: Yes
Thanks in advance everyone.
I doubt it would be software related if it does it even when in bootloader. It could be the problem I had with my nexus 7 a few times. I needed to charge it like all day for it to even turn on. Either that or faulty phone/bad battery. I hope it's just dead

Hello there, thanks for taking the time to reply. Yesterday I worked all day to try and make sense of the problem. I could have just bought another phone but I'm fairly attached to this one so I went deep.
I was fairly sure (like you) that it couldn't be a software problem, so I looked at the logic board of the phone; turns out (correct my poor technical wording) the bracket (connector?) for the battery on the logic board was coming off from the motherboard itself (the battery was indeed attached to the bracket, the bracket was just coming off of the board). What I did was just reposition the bracket and pushed it down with a bit of force on the board, then replugged the battery in the newly restored battery plug, and tried my luck. It booted! Back at its original 75%-ish.
My only guess would be that due to a fall the bracket got misplaced, but stayed close enough for it to still make contact and never actually shut down, until yesterday. That was... Quite an interesting ride.
Thanks for replying, it was indeed a "faulty phone", but I just couldn't leave it at that without trying
I'm glad it worked out for ya
