Sometimes when the phone is discharged too much, it admits to start...the reset button helps

Draining the battery to nothing all the time will do it no good long term..

Out of curiosity does this have the stock kernel? As in, is kexec CWM needed? I have 6.0.1.0 either way but thought it'd be good to clarify

Looks promising! Does this rom still have the stock messaging and email applications? I feel the AOSP email and messaging apps are much better than the stock ones...
Anyways, I am looking to try this out soon!

[q] xLOUD and Bravia for JB cm10

Just wondering if anyone has an apk for this for cm10.
Sent from my One X using Tapatalk 2
They aren't apps
They are sound/video engines and need to be inter grated into the ROM
It requires the engines and some build prop tweaks
Search Google for the instructions on how to put them in the ROM you're running
Sent from my One X using Tapatalk 2
actually, there is an app (that is still in alpha testing) called "Pimp My ROM" which allows you to install beats audio, BRAVIA and xLoud on any rom. it downloads a .zip files to your sd card which you later flash. keep in mind it is still in alpha and could damage your device, so backup before doing anything for me, it worked fine

Boot Loop while trying to flash off of stock KK

I have installed ClockWorkMod Recovery 6.0.4.8 for Kit Kat and I am unable to flash any other ROM besides the stock KK ROM and I absolutely hate it. I have tried RSD lite and I am still unable to flash anything.
I am using the Verizon version of the XT926
Any help would be appreciated.
you have to remove entirely any lines containing "getvar" and "gpt" from the "xml" file to flash back to JB with rsd.
Also, that version of CWM has been modified to work with stock KK only. It won't work with any of the custom ROMs out there right now.
See here , maybe that can help you

DO NOT FLASH THIS
it is for the razr m 907 NOT the 926
it will brick your phone, possibly permanently!!
People really need to be patient. I still feel the the stock KK kicks any other custom rom out there right now. If you are rooted, installing Xposed and adding modules such as Gravity Box really enhances the phone to the point of running a custom ROM.

I'd have to agree with you. I'm running the OTA on my M and it runs better than 4.1.2 or any custom ROM I ever had on the thing. People don't like change, that's all there is to it.
i usually avoid this type of discussion because its mostly pointless.
you can rarely convince someone to change there preference of how they want the phone to look and operate.
frequently, its the same people complaining about looks and issues, that were complaining for the last 6-8 months that they didnt have it.
its a vicious cycle, based on a no win situation.
for those who dont like change, and the occasional bug that comes from constant development advances, should just get an i-phone.

Battery drain on M2.

Been having battery drain on my m2 (.17) build and frankly stamina isn't working that much since the first month. Last night I left it at 100% and when I woke up in the morning it had 92%. Probably the battery naturally wears out over time but bootloader is unlocked and I think the loss of DRM keys may have affect on stamina working properly. Any thoughts?

8% idle drain over night on a stock rom(if it is stock) doesn't seem bad if you ask me. Have you tried the vol up n power button at the same time till it vibrates to reset the phone(same effect as removing the battery) I haven't updated as with all my tweaks for a 28.2mb update it ain't worth it.
Try re-flashing the ftf with flashtool and wipe clean the phone n start fresh it may help

No if you didn't make a ta back up once rooted before unlocking bootloader there gone forever unfortunately. Do not try flashing ta keys from a other m2 either you'll end up with a paperweight.

Backup of DRM keys
Xperia M2 D2303 on K.K. 4.4.4
Do not flash ta/drm keys from another device it'll permanently brick it I.e. It'll be a paperweight. I think the worst that'll happen with wrong model ftf is bootloop or a soft brick which are recoverable from.

Disable My Xperia (if you have it enabled) if you messing with drm, it may hard brick your device.

Install GSam from Play Store, it will tell you which app is drain you battery. My suggestion is to uninstal Facebook and install Facebook Lite and disable all apps that you don't use.

It does look impressive, thanks. But unfortunately I'm not a fan of Xposed. I tried it once and I immediately had issues of all kind. I'll see if Lollipop will change things. Apart that my 4G network must be a mess. Taking the phone out of the wifi the Fast Dormancy goes in high wakelocks as well.
I've been running xposed most of the year now not had any problems what so ever wouldn't be without it now.
