I try to install ADB drivers for Sony Xperia S, but I cannot.
I tried to use one from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2635830
but each time I get this error message "DPInst.exe does not execute on your current Operating System". I have Windows 7 64bits.
Maybe somebody can help me with that problem?
You can install it from Sony official website according to your device ;
Click the link to install : http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/
ADB brivers are not android device specific. They are universal. Try installing 15second adb driver. Just search it on google and it may help you

Please fix you're post's language. It's not understandable....
And shouldn't the drivers automatically install if you connect your phone right. (well I know they don't install good on XP and Win 8 PC's, so this is indeed good for those PC's... On my win 7 PC all seems to work fine).
Regards, Drago
Just install universal adb drivers. Click install, then you get red warning box, install anyway, and youre good to go.

A Simple click of the Thanks button would have been nice
If installing PC companion didn't help. Do this
1. Download and install latest version of flashtool
Link : http://androxyde.github.io/
2. Go to Flashtool Installation directory, then into drivers and run flashtool-drivers.exe
3. Install FlashMode drivers and Fastboot Drivers
You might get some warning about the drivers not being digitally verified, just continue with installation.
The above process basically installs all the required drivers, but windows still doesn't know which drivers to assign to which device. So we have to manually do it.
4. Connect you device (with USB debugging enabled and in MSC mode) and just let it install the required drivers, but it will say Android ADB Interface Drivers not found.
5. Open Device Manager, your profile name -> Other Devices -> Unknown Device/Android ADB. Right click, Update Driver Details.
6. Browse my computer manually -> Let me pick ..... computer -> Show All Devices
7. Wait for a while for it to list all devices.
8. Manufacturer : Google, Inc.
Model : Sony ADB Interface
9. One again you will get the Not Digitally Signed Error again, but this is the same driver we installed in the above steps, so nothing to worry.
10. Finish installing and your done!
11. Run "adb devices" in cmd to test.
Protip : Make Sure no other devices are connected.
I connected my Xperia device to my Linux Laptop and it installed everything automatically

Disable driver signing. The ADB drivers are not properly signed so it fails installing. Google how to disable driver signing.

then error box :
failed to chmod file: rootutility
then eror box :
failed to get shell root
Can you help ?
i sthere a pre-rooted ftf for the tipo that i can just flash ?
Hello,
Well, UnlockRoot isn't the only tool out there... You have Doomlord's, the one from Bin4y, Framaroot, SRSroot etc. One of those should work. Plus, there are probably a lot of threads where this is discussed. Try to use Google or XDA-search, and I promise you that magic will happen
Success, and have a nice day.

if unlockrot did not pop out the option to choose your phone that means adb drivers may not be properly installed.
install them again and try.
you can also try doomlord's toolkit.

Search for minimal adb and fastboot on Google it's a setup.exe and is easy to install. Or if that doesn't work try installing the android sdk
