Hi guys
People can't hear me while making phone calls however I can hear them clearly !! I tried to use wired head phones and ppl can hear me looks like microphone is not working !! Mate 7 gold dual sim any idea guys Thanks
My friend try this. Open google now and go to options (3 dots ). Open the "Voice" option and disable 'ok google detection'. Also disable google now completely. thats what i did and it worked for me...
I hope it works for you too..I can feel your frustration...

I swear none of these apps are good for anything...
Lets see what we have..
Vlingo... I love it, but its for show and thats about it..
Use it with your bluetooth and it will reset your phone after turning off bluetooth or leaving the area of range...
It will listen and think 3 times out of 10 .. The other 7 times out of 10 it just gets stuck in listening mode.. Seriously, its designed to be used for hands free operations... But obviously not.. Just a show off app and not a good one most of the time..
Ok so now.we move on to googles voice search..
It works imo pretty damn good.. Except for calling or texting contacts...
"call dads mobile" it calls father and sons moving.. Lol
No biggie because for telling it to navigate to "xxxxxxx" place it does, for doing internet searches it does a great job (though there is now way to set it to use dolphin as my default browser) and calling business's
BUT WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't allow you to talk through bluetooth... I mean is this the biggest f'ing joke... How the F can they make a hands free program and not allow it to work through the only hands free communication device!!!!!
I use the Blueant s4 which is a visor mounting speakerphone, i also mount my phone in the cd player mount of my car.. Which is right in the center of my dash, i can only imagine people that use a earpiece bluetooth device and keep their phone in their pockets.. IT WONT WORK.. My s4 has a great mic and googles hands free program doesn't work with it.. Are they seriously that retarded???
My old ass htc touch worked flawless, you would think with these great new phones( i have the evo ) they would get things right..
So now i currently use car panel and when i use my wake up phrase "blue ant speak to me" " phone commands " it pulls up bluetooth dialer and calls my contacts 9 times out of 10 perfectly with windowx down doing 70mph (no lie) but thats because of the awesome s4 bluetooth.. If i want to press the voice search button while in car panel i have to roll up the windows, turn off the radio, slowndown, take my eyes off the road, my hands off the wheel press the button, and SCREAM my search, multible times...this is really pathetic!!!!
Well in anycase its just a sad situation... As for vlingo if they could just fix the listening problem it honestly would be by far the best program made.. Then fix the resetting of a phone after disconnecting bluetooth.. Its a known problem and you think they would fix it, in the 5 months they have know about it..
Btw, does anyone use a bluetooth headset/speakerphone? What programs are you all using?
Sorry but im just ranting as this issue pissed me off so bad..
When it comes to games and little hacks and fun ****, android does a great job.. When it comes to business or functionality it fails..
Google Voice Actions suck. I haven't been able to get it to work once.
Hello everyone!
What I'm looking to do is really simple, a LOT of people are interested in these feature, however, no one has a clear solution.
There has been a lot of post about this subject but they are most old post and there's nothing help full.
Here is the problem - whenever I'm talking over the phone, I can play any music I like and I can hear it perfectly, but the other side cant hear anything! even if ill let the music play using the phone speaker - the other side is silent (witch is strange cause when the speaker play, the mic should transfer the sound and shouldn't "care" who is making it).
So after a lot of searching for apps and different ways, I found out something interesting.. If I make the call using an VOIP (skype, viber and so on) and Ill play music at the same time - THE OTHER SIDE CAN HEAR IT PERFECTLY!!! witch means the phone is fully capable of doing it.
What is going wrong when I'm using the cellular network instead of VOIP? is there a way around it?
Ive noticed some people don't get WHY would I want to do it.. well, I'm working using my phone (sales) and using the exact same pitch. I would like to be super lazy and play a recorded version of me, and when its done, be able to just keep talking to the person without him being able to notice the difference.
Since I'm doing it for work, I cant use VOIP for regular calling since Ill lose the option to use "Airdroid".
I'm using Nexus 4, Slimkat rom (4.4.4).
ANY help at all will be appreciated
I purchased my OPO two months ago and it was fine even in the call section. I love this phone but recently i have been facing a problem. When i place a call or recieve one then the person om the reciever's end is not able to hear my voice clearly. It's too low and sometimes my voice is also distorted. I have tried flashing various radio zip and also updated my phone to 05q, i came back to 44s and still i am having the same problem. I Googled it and i saw that some of the users are also having the same problem. When i reset my phone this problem gets solved but as soon as i download some apps.. I again start facing the same problem. It is quite frustrating.. Other than this.. This phone is too good. Please guys can u help me. Is there a way i can get rid of this?

hmm no replies. anyways i fixed this .. it seems it is really a big issue for oneplus one, they call it "robotic voice" and the fix is really simple. disable the "ok google" feature and delete your voice recording on it as well.
So I got my Moto G about 5 months ago and the microphone picked up everything fine, but as of recently if I try and take a video or use any other application that requires a microphone to pick up sound, I wont hear anything after I play it back even if I put the volume on max. Calling someone works fine because they can hear me still, but if im not using the phone, it doesnt work as in you hear no sound at all. Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem?
My advice is to ask the Moto Support on Twitter, yes I know that here you can, but give a try
I had an issue similar to this - the microphone didn't pick up anything, speaker did work. Don't know if it's related but the Facebook app had permission to use the microphone - i went into settings and disabled that permission and then tested the mic, it started working...

Hello guys! I have EML-L29.
I have strange problem with one of the mics - the one which is closer to the earpiece, top of the phone. So the problem is that the mic is very quiet - i think its responsible for when you change to loudspeaker, when you have phone call or viber, whatsup etc call, video call on loudspeaker. So i have to speak very close and quite loudly so that the person can hear me.
The strange thing is that it works normally when i say OK Google and Hey google. If I say this things, no matter how loud, i can tell them very quetly and the mic still pick up the voice, then i can ask Assistant what i want and again the mic picks everything how it should. But when i try manully to voice search, or manully to ask Assistant something, againt the mic brokes and can't pick up my voice normally, i have to be very close to it and speak very loudly.
I had this problem with EMUI9, updated to EMUI10, stil got it, fully factory reseted it, still no change.
For what i searched on the net i saw that the top mic is part of the motherboard, so its pretty much no point of changing it.. the bottom mic is on its own board, so its easy job.
Still i dont know if its hardware or software issue. Its very strange, normally it dont work, but when voice call the Google Assistant it starts working as it should.
I will be very grateful if someone knows anything about this or some tips on how i can deal with it
Thank you!
