Hi to all.
sorry for the bad English.
I have a new XT1032, (unmodded KK 4.4.4) and I pair it with a Blackberry bluetooth VM-605.
I can receive calls just fine but I canĀ“t dial out: the voice recognition says my command was not understood, also every time I tried to use the voice dialing the volume in the VM-605 gets lower and and lower until its inaudible (in about 3 attempts).
anyone has similar problems?
could this be a problem with the VM-605 or my phone.
thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I've been trying a few BT headset's (Belkin and Motorola) with my XDAII running ROM 1.66.00WWE.
Problem is that no matter what BT headset I try, the caller always has a very bad echo on the line, so bad that it's almost un-usable.
Any ideas?
Try calling from somewhere other than the lav...
I've had numerous problems with a few BT Headsets but recently got a Hello 2 from Communications Plus in Perth. Brand new on the market and apparently suited to the XDA II. Mine is 1.66 ROM and has been working fine all day.
Worth trying out at a little over A$130.

Hi all
I have a fully unlocked (from purchase) P5100 tablet which has been rooted for openvpn support. I set up a bluetooth headest with it and everything was ok.
After a few days mobile originiated GSM voice is no longer working properly although mobile terminating seems to work fine .
GSM Speakerphone calls ring once on the tablet then go silent. and this is total "audio shut down" silent, no hiss no nothing, the call proceeds but when the call is picked up at the remote (B party) end , there is no voice path either way but DTMF tones can be inserted to line from the keypad.
GSM tablet originated calls made with a stereo headphone (i.e. expecting to listen to the call on headphone using the tablets internal microphone) give the same result as GSM speakerphone
GSM inbound calls to headphones work as expected
VOIP calls route as expected
tried turning off BT and WIFI , rebooting , unpairing the BT headset ...no restoration of audio !!
Well....i'm stumped !!! anyone got any clues ???
regards

for the record - I have checked the obvious like the "in call" volume was set to maximum not set to "0"
try Reset factory setting
Factory reset hasnt fixed it, going back to supplier as 'not fit for purpose" under the sale of goods act
Specifically wanted a 5100 for gsm voice calling

same problem...
Hi, I've got the same issue...
Even after flashing several custom roms I can make between 0 and 2 succesful outgoing gsm phone calls after a reboot.
Maybe anyone knows a radio rom that works properly in the netherlands? I'm hoping that that might solve the issue. Unfortunately, samsung hasn't released a new version for the netherlands yet as far as I know...
Hi there,
Fist of all, I apologize if my english is far from perfect.
I have a problem that do not seems to be very simple.
My HTC One S is running on the HTC Stock ROM, and I meet the issue decribed in the title.
The phone can connect to my handsets (tested with my mercedes system and a plantronics headset), I can start start/stop an incoming/outgoing call from the headset but during the communication there is absolutely no sound emitted to the speaker/ acquired from the mic.
Of course the volume is at max, the right output is selected in the call menu and secret mode is disabled and I already tried to unpair and repair the phone to the devices.
This problem has appeared suddently during a call in my car after 6 months of loyal service.
I've already suspected some app services to block the sound of the call (appslock, some games, ...) but my investigrations has not provided any result.
If I could avoid to wipe my phone for a so small issue that could be really great.
Does someone has an great idea to help me ?
Thank you very much for paying attention on my problem...
Hi,
I have a Moto G and I would like to use it with my Audi A3 bluetooth kit (This is a kit that I rewired from another car to work with mine, nothing too complicated). It includes a single button on the dash that should answer calls, end calls, voice dial and redial last number (long press).
This worked great with my iPhone 4, not so well with my Moto G. The system answers incoming calls, redails and ends calls. But I cannot get the voice dial working very well.
I have tried using bluetooth launch to point at specific voice dialling applications, but it cannot work from the lockscreen. Also, the stock voice dialler is flaky at best, and requires google now to be open on the phone.
Any suggestions welcome please...
Thanks,
Rich
Same issue with my moto x and my jvc bluetooth deck.
With 4.2.2 Jellybean it worked flawlessly.
Updated to 4.4.2 last night and now I get a "not supoorted" error on the deck when I try to initiate voice dialing.
A similar problem with my XT1033 on android 4.4.2 and Toyota Prius '05. When a call sends from the car's native bluetooth kit, works fine. But when dialing on the phone or get an incoming call, the car system doesn't recognize that the call have started.
Hi,
I have a technical question regarding changing/re-routing microphone.
Here's my problem, it seems like my micro stopped working properly recently (maybe after a drop). The main microphone produces very little sound input and because of that, voice call doesn't work -- people can't hear me very well at all from the other side. Also voice recording doesn't work.
Spaker phone mode and headset mode works just fine. So i know the main-heandset-mic is broken.
My solution:
So I've tried a few approach, including editing the mixer_paths.xml file in system/ect/mixer_paths.xml
I have successfully replaced the main-mic with the speaker-mic and this seems to help a little bit. I'm able to record sound again using the speaker-mic.
But during call, it won't active that mic. I think android turns off all the other mic (both speaker-mic and headphone-mic, if it doesn't detect a headset plugged in and if I'm on normal handset mode).
Does any developers who knows android well enough to help me with this? I think somehow if I can have it so that android won't turn off my spaeker-phone mic when I'm in normal call mode would work, since the I've already replaced the mixter path profile of main-mic with that of speaker-mic.
Hope this is not too confusing..... I've trying my best to describe the problem. it's been very frustrating.
