[APP][4.0+] Moded AOSP ICS Camera - 7/1/2013

Here guys I present you my small mod..
It's the original camera app from AOSP ICS (or known as LegacyCamera on some CM10 ROMs),
but I moded the layout a bit so it'll looks like this :

I like this layout very much! But unfortunatly the app doesn't work very well for me.
I'm using CM10 by Scritch and in this ROM the original camera.apk is joined with gallery.apk.
Maybe that's why this one doesn't work very well?
I extracted the zip and installed your apk manually by copying to /system/app and setting perms to 644.
* The app gives random FC.
* The viewing area is a very small, non centered rectangle.
* On screen buttons respond very slow.
* I couldn't find the resolution setting (8MP, 6MP, etc.)

hmmm i think it's because guatep my camera app is from mdpi rom..
so can you please upload camera.apk from AOSP ICS or CM9 of your device ??
maybe i can make the fixed one with no bug,

Like i wrote earlier. The ROM i use doesn't have camera.apk because it's embedded/joined with gallery.apk, else camera won't work.
Maybe you can contact scritch007, he is good with camera and I guess he can give you what you need.
For now I'm using camera ICS (playstore). It has some extenden features. Maybe you can adapt that one?

i know because JB uses that method to get the quick access beetwen camera and photo viewer,
ok i'll try to contact him..
about camera ICS from play store :
the free version is very old and not updated, and video record is FCs on my device..
the paid version is up to date and video record working flawlessly, but of course i can't distribute it..

does the vedio in 4.1 work?

Can someone confirm that photosphere is "close" to photosynth at this release?

I have a problem with all "Nexus" cameras
What i see in the screen is cropped compared with the final result of the photo

Same here, on Toro with cm10.1

pics and photosphere working great on sgs 2 pac rom. video recording fc

evrtything works ....
only photo editor gives fc
video recording is superb tried 1080p ... no fc at all

guys i uploaded a fixed apk , as the scene modes were mislableled/incorrect in original. I will look for solution to photo editor and report back if i fixed it

Force closes for me. Stock 4.4.4 with custom kernel

It will not work on stock..
..
Its for cm11 and cm12

The app is not optimized for on screen button phones I guess I tried on cm12 and this is what I see
No controls and no menu button too and also the cybershot header bar stays there covering the display.
Please try to fix it
With out that can't access any settings

Same here. This camera has superior quality to M9. Especially in HDR photos

This is the first time I haven't been embarrassed to show people pictures taken with my G3. I rooted and left stock on the day I received my device, so I've always had to sacrifice image quality. One problem is that it seems they are so sharp, the file sizes are bigger, and I can't send some of them via sms. I'm looking around for a fix, but I thought I'd mention this hear. I use Textra and adjusted by file size limit to "no limit".

Google Camera with HDR+ working on mido! (Updated 171226)

Hello everyone! Read the news about the ported Google Camera, and it's just stated to work with Snapdragon 820 and up, but I just had to install it on my LineageOS Note 4 and HDR+ is actually working! In my opinion it lowers the digital noise a lot, and will be my daily camera app.
Camera2 API needs to be enabled for the app to work.

I don't know for sure if it will solve the problem, but have you tried enabling camera2 API? What happened when you tried the app?

MIUI9.
I was try - all work. Enable Camera2Api, reboot.
HDR+ and video stabilization working.

Maybe you already have Google camera installed? You have to uninstall previous versions before installing this one.

I changed file name (I removed .1.1 in file name). System think that was type of file
