Google camera HDR+This setting isn’t available on all devices.

After last update of Google to its camera. The HDR+ is gone and I don't know why should Google remove it?
Any help or feedback.

what rom are you on? gapps? and are you using xposed?

I had the same problem. I just flashed the Slim_google_camera_compatibility_fix and HDR+ was available again.
Maybe you have to install Google Camera from GooglePlay again after flashing the fix.

Clearing the camera app data works most of the time, give it a shot first may be!

I'm on purity ROM I didn't have this problem

It depends on what ROM you're using and/or what gapps you flashed.

Thanks for the info I'm using pa gapps if that helps anyone. Would re-downloading the camera app in the play store afterwards fix it just a suggestion?

No. The problem is that the google camera on stock roms has hdr and when you update via play, hdr remains.. Remember when you update you have a /system camera AND the /data app update
AOSP camera doesn't have hdr so if you upgrade via play, you don't get hdr
Some gapps include the google camera replaces AOSP camera giving hdr.. Otherwise you must flash the already mentioned fix to allow hdr on AOSP camera once updated

Weird, I installed Google Camera when I only had the AOSP camera and no fix and I have HDR+, meh.

I have Global version. Not used any patch just enabled HavocOS 2 builtin camera2api

Try using patch

According to what they wrote, the telophoto camera is not really helpful at all. No significant result can be achieved by enable that camera yet

That's because RN5 does not have a telephoto camera. We have 2nd camera only for lens blur (bokeh), and it's not designed for telephoto so technically telephoto camera apps won't work on Redmi Note 5/5Pro.

I have installed one Google camera, but I don't see the point in uninstalling it because while instalation this app from op link is showing me that it is not updating already installed app. It is installing it as a separated app, so there is no "fight" between the app.
Or maybe I am wrong?

Redmi note 5 doesn't have telecam, so nothing new here

No, I am not using that. I use miui 10 (yes, 8.1) latest weekly with gcam 6.x installed and api2 activated.
Op asked about miui 10 so I answered that it doesn't work for me

Yes, I test that, and the portrait mode worked, but it didn't work well, the app was slow to focus, and some photos were blurring, it was difficult to define the outline of the objects, sometimes it went crazy and it focused things that weren't in the foreground, also, I checked the dmesg/logcats and and the camera is registered by the system.

Flash only with Magisk 19.2+ version, after flashing module in magisk, wipe cache and dalvik/art cache in recovery before booting phone up.
Download this patch and it will work .

A Magisk module that overhauls the camera capabilities for our Galaxy A53.​
Background
I saw the camera specs of this phone and I decided to buy it, now that I got to work with it I'm amazed by the amazing quality the camera shows as stock. So I thought we could overhaul the performance and quality of it.
Requirements
Root is a must. (So sorry non-rooted pals!)
Magisk v20.4 or above.
Compatibility
It seems to be working only for SM-A536E
