this one also has 16:9 configuration

Seems ok. Big difference I notice right away is the settings menu is reduced drastically. Also the flash doesn't automatically remove the old camera so you have two cameras and two galleries.

you can install JB Camera+ or Snap Camera from Playstore
I Myself prefer Snap Camera :good::good::good::good::good:

Photosphere is still not working for me :C .

thank you for this great mod - there ist just a major problem for me:
everytime I finish the sphere (when my phone renders it) it just states (after the progress bar reached its end) "gallerie has been terminated".
Sometimes a "bad" panorama-pic (low resolution, bad quality (nothing in common with the "spheres" or the ultra-wide panoramas) resides in my gallery but nothing else.
So anyone has an appropriate solution for me?
I don't know if this is the exact term for the error-note, my rom-language is german
I'm currently using Kangs CM10.1 (4.2.1), on Kangs CM10 (4.1.2) same error.

Changing system language to english solved it, but this is not a good solution, where does this problem come from and how can it be fixed?

thanks for letting me know! removed the ICS warning in the OP.

Could one check if the SHARE option works, like when sharing a photo? That's a common problem with these ports.

Long hold a photo, select a few and share them with for example the Gmail app works perfectly here, on a Galaxy S III.

I confirm SHARE WORKS with this port (tested with GMail/OfficialTwitter/OfficialFacebook)
I'm running MIUI 3.2.8
Only complain is that it looks I can not see my pictures by folder
When I go to "My Albums" I only see location related albums (a very few in my case)

Working great on LiquidSmooth ROM for the Galaxy S3 (jb 4.2.2). The only issue i have is that the "My albums" tab is empty. Any ideas on how to fix that?

Works great on my Galaxy R with ICS ROM. But I´m realize that when I install one of your packages (with old walkman, gallery, video package that happens too...) I can´t connect my device by USB anymore with my PC, it isn´t recognized correctly, in properties, my pc says that the device is manufactured by Sony, not Samsung. Maybe a build.prop bug??
EDIT: after I install another different package and make fix permissions, the problem is solved. It's strange.

Hello.
Do you find improvement from previous camera stock?

For anyone getting the "Application not installed" message everytime they try to install this via the normal way, this is how I managed to get past it -
I deleted the Gallery2.apk using SlimSizer, (so I'd say you just have to go to /system/app and delete it from there if you're not on Slim) and THEN installed the APK after.
I'd make a backup of the original apk in case you don't like the camera. (which I forgot to do..) Layout is nice once you know how to go to different levels of settings and Photosphere works for me. You'll have a surprise change waiting after you take your first picture - I'm bewildered as to why it wasn't there before. The only bad thing I can see atm is that I haven't found an option to save to External.

Tried installing on my toro running cm nightlies and the buttons to take picture and such were down almost below my Nav bar and I could take a picture but it would fc right after. And I also got fc when trying to switch to photo sphere.

"Application not installed" on LG G Pad running 4.4.2 Madhi Rom. I've tested to put App in system/app and changed permission, same problem :/.

nokia 5mp camera, no switch to front camera, after recording a video gallery fc.
other than that, it's nice tested on nexus 4

Did you try deleting gallery2.apk from system/app and then try to install it as a normal app

Camera works on Motorola Moto X. Videos don't record and panorama is distorted. Like the processing of the pictures. Very clear images.

Because it is missing framework related files or something. Isn't there a G4 camera for G2?
