First of all, what version is your Hboot? If you could get the info from running the command fastboot getvar all, we could put you in the right direction.
Edit: I just realized, did you relock your boot loader? If not, do fastboot oem lock.
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda premium

Anyone a RUU for my device?

and YES, I relocked the device prior RUU. Just the wrong Version!
What can I do?
Maybe that's what ya need
http://www.androidruu.com/getdownlo...0.03U_16.11.20.24_M_release_310730_signed.exe
But ya had to chance your cid for that....
Thanks for Help, i download this. But never changed CID before. So it will be a solution, if I will not find the right RUU.
But as long I have HTC_102, there SHOULD be a RUU for this one; it is HTC Stock. May be someone can help.
IMO that's the only available c2 JB Rom released by htc...
Just tried to change the CID by command "fastboot oem writecid 11111111" - did not work.
Seems I have a problem...
Result:
(bootloader) villec2_init_sd, SD card already power on
(bootloader) [SD_HW_ERR] SD: No device attached
(bootloader) 902910 902E20
FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))
finished. total time: 1.305s
(this mobile has only internal flash, no SD)
Are you s-off?
Cause fastboot command only works with s-off...
Else ya have to chance cid by hexedit the mmcblk0p4 partition...
Search for the super CID thread....
s-off for Villec2? You will win the 1st price if you can handle this... :good:
I wonder, if I could handle this with a OTA and another RUU?
I.e. combine UK RUU and some files of a HTC__102 OTA ? Is there a way?
Solved the problem!
Found the tutorial "[Tutorial][S4/S3] How to use OTA zip to get back to Stock OS", and this guy saved my Ass!
Thanks for great Support!

Do you have RUU for 16.15.20.29_M baseband ? I cannot return to stock, this topic links are Dead http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394165
We have the same getvar info only cid changes. Mine is HTC__032
No, sorry. I have a Lenovo now...
Btw. can you access the recovery menu with the volume- or volume+ key?
Maybe I find a backup of my phone...
I have been messing with my HTC One X trying to load a custom ROM without much success. I did manage to brick the phone upgrading the HBOOT version. This was done over a year ago and i've stated messing with it again. So far I have managed to flash a custom recovery, flash the boot.img and zip for the Maximus HD ROM. I can now boot the phone into Android again, however it will not recognise a SIM card. Can anyone help me get back to a stock or working ROM
I suspect i need to be able to enable S-OFF and/or change the CID.
I have tried the 'Moonshine' method to switch S-OFF however this just fails with an error
I have tried the fastboot oem writecid 11111111 and this fails with a FAILED (status read failed (Too many links)) message

Hello.
I would like to up stock ROM to Android v. 4.4.4 KitKat but now I can't even load any system in my HTC One S (S4) xD.
Yes, yes I do it properly - Debugging USB, Unlock, recovery twrd, perm rooted (I used One_S_All-In-One_Kit_v3.5)
After that I've tried to instal CM_12.2; Viper or Maximus. Every time I can only see logo HTC after reboot.
Moreover, I can't instal stock RUU becouse there is an error:
[131] error client identyfication
Ruu Ver. I use: RUU_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.8_Radio_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_301814_signed_2_4.exe
I would like to point - before installation RUU I write in ADB: FASTBOOT OEM LOCK. Then I see something like that:
D:\ADB>fastboot oem lock
...
(bootloader) Lock successfully...
(bootloader) TZ_HTC_SVC_DISABLE ret = 134086000 (0x7FDFD70)
FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))
finished. total time: 0.936s
Nevertheless, I see RELOCKED im bootloader.
I didn't do S-OFF and now is too late i think
