Hello, I find that to get SuperCID and S-Off only works if you have a ROM that has Sense on it. Try this:
Download ViperOne Rom and in install it. (Hopefully it will load and bootup)
If it doesn't get past the Logo screen go into the "Bootloader" on the phone (Power + Volume Down). Connect it to your USB and make sure it's says "Fastboot USB". Extract "boot_hboot2.15.img" in the ZIP (in Kernal Folder).
Put the file in the same folder in your Fastboot/ADB . Type in "Fastboot Flash Boot boot_hboot2.15.img" and is should allow you to start up the ViperOne ROM.
From there you should be able to do your SuperCID and S-off. (Make sure your Rooted, SuperSU, and Busybox is installed before doing SuperCID and S-off)
My Device is in boot loop, S-On and Unlocked Bootloader, Cannot boot into recovery just can open fastboot ..
i downloaded the correct firmware. I did
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip

As I mentioned here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=57026119
You need to be s-off for this.
So first get s-off and try. Alternatively flash a sense based rom with stock kernel to get you device working

I told you it's not booting up. Just hTc boot logo comes and then it restarts itself, unable to go to recovery even, i can do nothing than entering fastboot. How can i get s-off when i cannot boot it up to use adb .. huh. and hTc's official RUUs are not working. Problem is- PAC ROM erased system while installing. I'm just stuck with this ****ing device
Please remember when asking for help to always be polite and remain calm. This will help you get a better reply and support down the road.
I'd like you to reflash your recovery from fastboot and then try entering recovery. If it works just flash a sense based rom with stock kernel and you'll be fine.
Any future questions regarding your device or problem need to be posted here

i recently bought an htc one xl, worked fine, but was stuck on Android 4.2.2 and didn't receive any updates anymore.... long story short, its now stuck and i can't flash any ROM on it.
recovery works and fastboot does work too, the only problem it seems that the internal memory is corrupt.
when i try to install a ROM i receive the error message "unable to mount /system" .... and other directories. using ADB sideload doesn't change anything and the problem remains.
i tried flashing different recoveries but still the same problem.

Hi! Recently I bought a htc one s in a job lot. . The htc was stuck on htc image, the bootloader was unlocked I tried to flash twrp the recent versions and the oldest, I tried cm10 to cm11 roms and it gave me "error status 7" in the older versions of recovery and in the newest "error executing updater binary in zip". In every instalation I wiped all data, all cache and dalvik cache, same error. Then I tried to install factory RUU with the same radio of the phone and it gave me customer id error and signature error with the several RUU's. I don't know what more can I do , so if anyone could give me a little tip to solve this situation it will be extremely aprecciated!!!
PS: There was no back up on recovery to return to stock.
Thank you for your help.

I was doing something stupid, had a rom but was using fastboot to try flash it and kept getting signature failed. when I put the RUU.ZIP onto my SD Card it worked perfectly.
Thanks for the quick reply!
