Recovery Data and Unbrick HardBrickedked Phone

Hi,
My phone doesn't turn on at all and it is hardbricked. I was just wondering if there is any way to get back the data in which I have saved on the phone by any chance? Such as my pictures and so fort.
Also, how can I go about fixing a hardbricked phone by myself. I don't want to pay to send the phone in to anyone. I've looked around, but it seems most of the solutions on google are to fix softbricked phones.
Im using the Galaxy SII I727 btw.

Maybe you should ask this question in your own forum section?
This isn't the 727 section it's the 777 section
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
Moved to to correct forum.
@OP You might try something like Recuva but not sure that will work for you since you probably are not getting power to the device at all. Or you could build your own JTAG box but I would think that it would be cheaper to send it out than build a box yourself.
How do you know your phone's bricked? There are plenty of reasons that it wouldn't turn on, most notably a dead battery.
If you are hard-bricked, then no. Your app data is gone, though you can always pull your external SD out and get that data.

How to enable USB debugging with broken screen

Today my Galaxy S4 broke and the screen shows nothing and the touch does not work. I know its broken by the fact its shadered too. Im getting a new phone but I need to get some things off of it before I do but there is one fatal flaw... USB debugging is off. This means i can't use adb or any programs like [email protected] to get the files off or enable debugging. Iv been spending hours trying to figure out how to get my pictures and files off but with no luck and im getting kinda frustrated.
I am using a Galaxy S4 running Android 4.4.2 and it is Rooted with SuperUser, if that will help at all.
Any way I can get my pictures and files off is welcome, but please do not just point me to a different forum as iv been looking for hours and can't find anything. Google was not in my favor this time...
Also note I am not using a SD card, kinda dumb on my part...
please help...
Hi,
Is your Galaxy S4 is secure-locked?
Also, this thread should be moved to Q&A section of Galaxy S4 forum so Galaxy S4 users are able to assist you more.

I don't really know if you're on a custom rom but found something with Kies
Kies will not let you access your phone unless you unlock the screen on the device, this can be done relatively easily!
Go onto the Samsung website and click the 'find my phone' button (or simply google this).
Log in and there will be an option on the left hand side of the screen to unlock your screen remotely, click this and when the progress bar filled it will say 'your phone is now unlocked'.
Connect with your USB Cable and Kies will allow you access to your files.

This just happened to me! Phone works but screen and LCD broken and unresponsive. I had a screen lock too so what I did was I took off the back plate, removed the battery, and unscrewed the six screws to uncover the PCB board under the back housing. Then I carefully disconnected all the tiny ribbon connectors. I waited a minute just to be superstitious and then reconnected all the ribbon connectors and put everything back to how it was. Then I downloaded Kies from the Samsung website, plugged my phone into a computer via USB and was able to view all my files! Something about disconnecting the PCB board resets the default settings to factory state but doesn't delete any data at all.

The first one with "Find my phone" doesn't work anymore, plus i don't have a samsung account i use Google for everything.
The second one i don't want to open up my phone because im using it with US cellar on a 2-year contract, meaning if i totally break it (not just the screen like it is now), then i wont be able to trade it back in and get at least some of my money back.

[Completed] What phone do I have ?

Hi there,
I bought a 'strange phone' at low cost, the model tag is 'HTC M9et', but the setting shown it is HTC Me, and it looks and works exactly like the Me, but it got dual SIM for the Chinese market sold by China Mobile, so I guess most of the h/w are the same as the Me except the radio. I got 2 problem with it, first it misses the update option on the settings so I couldn't do OTA update, it is still running on Lollipop. Secondly the USB mass storage doesn't work, when I connect it to the PC via USB nothing happened except the charging light, actually it does show briefly a lightning icon inside a square box, but nothing happened on the PC side, I tried both Linux and windows both the same., but I can connect card reader via it's USB, so the port is working normally., Because of the above problem I couldn't do USB tethering with it, I used my phones for internet via USB or Bluetooth for long time without problem regardless the computer OS in use. I suspect it is a locked phone the carrier removed some features, but strange is that I can use any SIM with it without problem. What I am trying to do is to get a custom ROM for it hopefully I can get back the full features, but first I must know the correct ROM to use, I don't want to spoil the phone although it is cheap, and I've little experience flashing my Motorola Droid Razar with CM ROM, please help me out many thanks !!!

[Completed] LG K7 Developer Settings and USB Tethering Problem.

Alright, so as it says in the title I have a bit of a problem. I'm using an LG K7 and up until recently I haven't had any problems other than space on the phone. But now for some reason I am unable to make any changes to the developer options without them reverting back to only having usb debugging checked. This is a problem as it gets rid of my usb tethering completely, which I use a lot. I have done some digging online and only found one or two pages about this, and they weren't exactly what I was dealing with. They suggested a factory reset, but that would be catastrophic for me as I have a lot of things that can't be backed up. Is there anything I can do to find the source of this problem and get rid of it? Or at least have a work around to permanently disable the dev options and get my tethering back?

[Completed] Galaxy J1 Samsung Lock with no Samsung account

Okay, so I have a Samsung Galaxy J1 (SM-J100VPP Model) and it's been sitting in a drawer. When I used it as a main phone, a friend of my little brother came over and stole it and my headphones. I got them back, with the added effect of it being hard reset and the SIM thrown away. When I tried to set it back up it asked for a samsung account, which I did not have. I never entered a Samsung account, although I have one. I tried that one and even tried deleting and remaking it. Nothing seems to work. At this point I'd like to try a linux mobile phone or just have it as a storage device with a screen. I have looked and looked and looked some more but nothing is working. I'm hoping you guys can help me. I'll never use it as a main phone again, so some functions being removed doesn't bother me at all. I just want WiFi and for it to work.

Greetings and welcome to assist. First of all try using kies/smartswitch emergency firmware recovery, this will return your phone to its original state. If you then come across FRP there are several guides on how to bypass it on xda
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-removing-frp-lock-brick-device-t3527121
That should work
Good Luck
