I keep my diary appointments on my Windows 8 PC using 'Google Calendar'. I also have Google Calendar on my Sony Xperia M2 and want to keep the 2 in sync. If I add an appointment on my PC it very quickly appears on the (wirelessly connected ) phone, but changes I make on the phone don't appear on the PC. This happened with my HTC Desire 500 and is still the same now I have a Sony Xperia M2. What's the explanation, and (more to the point) the solution?

Any quick and easy way to do the above from my whole phonebook on k750i, currently only seems to work for single contacts sent.
I think there is an option within the Bluetooth menus to send either a single contact or the whole lot.
Otherwise, install the Sony Ericsson software, synchronise your K750i with Outlook then synchronise your Wizard with Outlook through active sync.
Been doint it this way right back to the Psion Series 5.....
Hope this helps

Cool i'll give that a go...
Sync the k750i with your mac using iSync, then sync the WinMo with your mac using Missing Sync.
If any of you is having trouble to let HTC Sync detect the phone, try to rename the "iTunes" folder in your "My Documents\Music" folder.
When I bought the phone, I installed the HTC Sync v3.0.5517 (which was on the SD card and newer than the online version) on my Windows 7 x64 SP1 e never could see it detected by the software. Every time I launched it, the notification icon showed that the phone was detected and after 2 seconds disappeared (htcUPCTLoader.exe also disappeared from task manager).
I tryed the software in a WinXP Virtual Machine and it worked fine, so I decided to contact the HTC Support in order to know if there was some incompatibility with Win7 x64 SP1: the told me that the problem was my PC
After a few search, I found a similar problem in another forum, and tried to rename the iTunes folder, and I finally got HTC Sync starting and synching like a charm. The problem is when the software tries to detect our iTunes playlist in order to show them in the Media synchronization.
I replied back to the HTC Support telling them this issue, hoping that they will fix it.
Thanks
Thanks for the Info,
I've same problem with XP-Media Center, Sync installed from SD-Card and then a connect and nothing. The HTC Sync is starting up and then "updating HTC...." for ever.
When leaving the room with Device connect it started up after a while (1hour probably - was not in the room) and then I could set up the sync but it never started.
Will give it a try in the evening.
Cheers
Mike
What are you guys syncing with HTC Sync?
I found that Google's own sync tools were best for calendars and contacts?
I originally uploaded all my Outlook calendar & contacts into my Google account in the cloud and now the phone syncs itself without the need for HTC Sync.
If you need to continue to still use Outlook you can do as Google Calendar Sync will continue to sync both ways.
works perfect!
Thanks a lot,
I've renamed the I-Tunes folder and HTC-Sync was running perfect.
Cheers
Mike

I'm using HTC Sync with Outlook for 2 reasons:
- I can sync my Outlook contacts with my 2nd phone
- I hate having unuseful mail contacts (eg: work mail, mailing-list senders) in my phone
I don't like Google "cloud" sync - I don't want to share my contacts and calendar with Google.
I can't find any good syncML client for android, but I like Sony Ericsson synchronizations.
Here are 3 APKs from latest SE X10 2.3.3 firmware.
If you install only 2 first APKs - you'll get SyncML provider which one includes Contacts, Calendar and Bookmarks (!) sync. Third APK adds "Sony Ericsson Sync" provider.
If someone could help me with combining 3 APKs into one - please do it. I don't have such experience.
Tested on HTC Flyer - works just fine!
One drawback - some strings in parameters screen are dark on black background and hardly visible.

Ok, did everything I did in the past... Sync'd with facebook for android and did the experia facebook sync. For some reason, my phone will NOT show the high rez pics in my contacts for facebook. After reviewing some setting from my old z2 to my z3, I noticed that the contacts which is part of the phone has both the facebook app contacts sync (low rez pics) and the experia contact sync (high rez pics) my z3 does NOT have the experia facebook contact sync in the settings to add an account. It's added in the regular sync in the regular setting for the phone for the experia facebook sync but it's only syncing the calendar and the z2 is syncing both the calendar and the contacts. I did notice an extra tab in the setting for the contacts app which is part of the phone and there is a setting on my z2 that says "show status updates" which is for social media. My z3 does NOT have that setting in the contacts app.

i am having the same problem... is this only me and you...
I'm having the same issue
I think it's something to do with the update experia facebook app. I noticed it's a newer version as soon as I uploaded a pic from it. The layout is totally different. Maybe we'll get an update to fix it. It kept telling me to use experia for facebook to get high-rez pics in my contacts but every time I hit yes, it would say I can't have 2 accounts. FYI - I also tried to remove the experia facebook and let it do it from that but still did not work. Again, the key here is having both facebook cantacts in the dialer's contacts and having the experia facebook in the sync accounts for contacts.
same problem

This is how I got my Facebook contacts
Click on Phone> contacts>options(looks like 3 dots bottom right corner>Filter>Facebook> Tick all contacts & this should hopefully help out.
New fb update turned sync of on my phone. So check the actual Facebook app
