Inception Auto-Root only for SM-T113 (Galaxy Tab 3 lite new edition). It works pretty much like CF-Auto-Root work. You end up with supersu installed, and it reinstalls stock recovery when done.

You just need to flash the file called "inception-samsung-goyavewifi-autoroot.tar.md5" using odin. The inception tool was only used to generate this file, but you don't need to use inception for flashing. More about inception in this thread.

FAQ's :
Q. I am getting stock recovery instead of CWM touch recovery. Why is that ?
Two reasons : 1. If your firware is updated through KIES the odin cannot reach the block in which the recovery is there.
Solution : Flash any Stock Firmware through Odin and then flash the recovery.
2. Random issue is spotted where the recovery does not flash after the above solution too.
Solution : Uncheck auto-reboot. After Odin says PASS remove battery and re-insert it, Now you can enter CWM !
Q. Why is my download not ending even though md5 is verified?
Solution : If you are using the USB cable which came with the phone please change it , it is damn slow !
Q. COM port is not turning up !!!!!!
Solution : Update your ADB driver or install it properly.
Q. All of the above is correct, then why the hell odin is not flashing the recovery ?
Solution : Try flashing through odin3 v3.07(try googling it for download),then too you can't get it right then the hell demon is in your mobile he'll not let you do this

You must be missing something or doing something wrong.
What version of ODIN do you have ? I have used v3.07
Have you enabled the "USB debugging" in android's Developer options ?
Give us more details on the exact procedure/steps that you are doing.

Not sure if I did something wrong, also I had Odin v3.04 I downloaded/used Odin v3.07 afterwards, but that still did not work.
These are the steps I did.
1. I downloaded the ABD drivers
2. Downloaded the recovery from this thread
3. Turned off my device
4. Went to odin mode
5. Connected my usb cable to my mobile
6. The mobile got detected through Odin3
7. I selected CWM through PDA
8. Clicked start
9. Waited till it went succesfull
10. Turned my phone yet again off
11. Tried to go to CWM, but instead I went to Android system recovery
Also dev. options were enabled.

OK, here are some other things that may help with troubleshooting:
- I have the i9105P model (with NFC)
- The drivers installed from KIES tough this should not make any difference.
- The firmware version installed on my phone using ODIN is I9105XXAMB2 downloaded from here: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9105P
For the non-NFC version I cannot see a similar firmware version but I see that there is an I9105DDAMB2 version built on 12 Feb
Maybe chotu222 is can tell if the firmware revision on the phone should make any difference.

I have a rooted S-7500, with CWM recovery 5.0.2.8 installed. I (by mistake) allowed the 'software update' option to install a system update(or something) today by mistake (I know, you should never install system updates after rooting. My bad.) Since then, the phone directly goes to the cwm recovery mode on powering on, and i am unable to do anything else
I am not very well versed with the finer details of rooting bootloader recovery n all...so pls some details with steps...if possible .
Any help whatsoever...please I will be really grateful

Thanks!!! It totally worked!
Just a clarification...now that i have got the stock rom back on my phone...am i right in saying that I have lost root access, my phone is totally back to the 'original' state, and i have lost CWM as well? Please correct me if I am wrong.
And assuming that I am correct(above), I would like to re-root my device(need to use proxydroid to surf internet over the damned proxy server!). So..can I follow the standard method, ie, can I do it the same way I had done before, or do i need to do something different now?
And once again...THANK YOU for your help! I had ended up hard bricking my previous phone, and was really scared when this happend to my aceP. You saved me!
Easy way to ROOT your SGAP
Yes by the time you flash stock rom you loss root even any custom recovery you flashed before...
but now if you want to root your SGAP again don't follow that guide again which you done before just follow this :
Download ODIN from Downloading link below (inside ODIN software folder)
Download any one recovery which you like TWRAP / CWM v5.5 (inside Custom recovery folder)
Download Root_SGAP.zip from Root folder & place that zip inside in your sd card

Download Link : GALAXY Ace Plus - Basic stuff
FOR Custom_Recovery :
Open odin, be sure your system has already install drivers & if kies is there close it.
extract recovery zip
connect device to pc in download mod (vol down + power + home) & select that (recovery) .md5 file in pda section inside ODIN software
Click start & wait to reboot device
FOR ROOT :
Now boot device in CWM mod ( vol up + down + power + home)
choose zip from sd card & select Root_SGAP.zip
DONE.

if you are going to stick on stock rom forever & only want to root device then stock recovery is ok for you...
but while dealing with custom roms, custom recoveries are smart choice.
it has lot of additional options than stock recovery.
so my opinion yes use custom recovery

Good day all. I have a Lenovo A3300 (A7-30) tablet. I have downloaded and installed Online Nandroid Backup and have created a backup for restore. I have scoured the net for a custom recovery and have failed to find one.
1.Has anyone come across a custom recovery?
2.Is there any way to flash a nandroid backup without a custom recovery?
3. Is there a generic custom recovery for a MTK8382 device running 4.2.2?
Thanks in advance for your time and help.

Some posts before there were a post with H not F. So i got it wrong. No matter
Use CF-AUTO-ROOT for SM-G750F instead
What the error shown up in ODIN?
Its the same way i described before. First flash the ANI1 firmware for your region and then use CF-AUTO-ROOT

hi,
well, this matter i've missed and just noticed now, and seems it is the cause of the failed install.
the build numbers for the two phones i was trying to root are G750FXXU1ANGD and G750FXXU1ANJ1 . But when i've just checked again your post , the build number that you mentioned is G750FXXU1ANI1.
I'm downloading now the proper (G750FXXU1ANI1) from sammobile , and going to flash both of the phones and then try to root them with the file you showed above , hopefully it will work !.
thanks alot LS.xD
Update - fail again!

I don't get it. FW + ROOT match your phone and its still not working. I'll try to get some more informations.
Is Samsung KIES installed on your computer? Uninstall it!
USB debugging enabled? Enable it!

KIES uninstalled, USB debugging enabled in the android rom
if you did both try using latest ODIN 3.10.6
I'm actually looking for a matching "PIT" file
EDIT: I found a valid fix for the cache.img problem. I will prepare the needed files for you and be back soon
@numan8 I need to know if you run Win 7/8/8.1 - 32 or 64bit

SOLUTION:
I extracted the recovery from CF-AUTO-ROOT and converted it to ODIN flashable recovery SM-G750F
First flash the recovery.tar.md5 and then flash the CF-AUTO-ROOT you already downloaded.

So, I have been searching for a way to get TWRP working for bloody ages!
Every single Image, Tar and MD5 wont work apart from these ones!
I found these on another thread but its buried in other replies so im here to share it in a Thread so people can actually find them.
It bypasses the whole "SEANDROID IS NOT ENFORCING" crap and brings you right into TWRP!

Enjoy!
Are you sure it works on G361F? It is described as a G361H TWRP

Where does it say its a G361H TWRP? It works for G361F
It is written at androidfilehost directory. It may be misleading.
I tested it, everything works great!
Guys does it really work? Give me a screenshot or something.

You can uncheck the freset. And if you're not doing thay way then use this method....After flashing via Odin do not let the phone reboot. Have the back of the phone already off the phone when you flash through odin and then when finished after Odin says pass unplug the device and pull the battery. Reinsert battery and boot straight to recovery by pressing abd holding the VOL + up, home and powered buttons until it bots to recovery mode.

Yes you must use Odin. Here are the steps.
1) Download Odin.
http://dl.sammobile.com/Odin3-v3.11.1.zip
2) Extract it from the zip and open it.
3) Boot your device into Download Mode by powering it on and holding the HOME + Volume DOWN buttons. Once there, hit volume UP one time to confirm.
4) Connect phone to pc and wait until Odin recognizes it.
5) Add the TWRP tar file to the AP slot of Odin.
6) Click the start button and just wait until it reboots the device.
7) Afterwards, to boot into TWRP, just power on the device and hold the HOME + Volume UP buttons. Don't use any other method for entering recovery(like selecting "reboot to recovery") on this device or you may get stuck in a recovery loop.
