Hey guys,
I've been looking for a new way to lock my device since cm12 as it unlocks a lot in my pocket.
I came across LGS knock code and it seemed like a pretty good idea.
Since the one plus supports knock on I was hoping it may support knock code?
I found an xposed module which works for cm11 but to I've been using cm12 for too long to go back to 11.
Does anyone know of anyway to use a knock code?
Screen on only knock code would also be acceptable although with the screen off it would be ideal.
Thanks for your help!

i don't want to root and mod my phone just yet or at all
thanks

Must be rooted
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
You will use it for a day or two before you realize it is just for fun and isn't that useful. Frankly, it takes too long to be useful when you can swipe and be done with it.
Agreed. On the Nexus S, it just takes too long and it seems a bit flaky to me personally. Usually I just get the "can't find face" message...
Like some others here, I haven't had any luck with the face unlock at all. It can be in perfect lighting, everything. Different strokes for different folks I suppose but I'll be interested if they can get it working correctly.
very true.........
aww no worries .... i just wanted it as a bragging right
not going to miss it if i never got it
Good day everyone I just got my note and since its on 4.4.2 I thought I could switch to ART but it seems like its not available on the developer screen, anyone knows if its posible to turn it on on this version without rooting? Thanks a lot
Hi, I just purchased a brand new (sealed) OnePlus one from ebay which was RMA'd by the previous user due to some bootloader issue. The phone is great but I am having some touch screen issues when typing as it sometimes doesn't recognise my touches. I installed the 'ghost touch display tester' app and 'Yet another multitouch test app' and both prove that there is something wrong with the touch screen. I still have a chance to return the device back to the seller as I only received it yesterday but I wanted to know if there are any other fixes available that I could try as I really like the device. I am running the latest cm12.1 stock rom. I searched online and there is an option to install a custom kernel but I would rather not as I have previously bricked a phone in doing so.
Do you think Nexus 6 would be a better option as its only £40 more to buy at the moment.
Thank you in advance for your help.
can you go in settings , about phone and tell us on which build you are?

I am running Build LMY48B.
I've wanted to try out an Honor x series for a while, but at the time MIUI was considered a resource hog and there weren't many clean roms for their chips without it yet. Someone was cleaning up their office and handed me an Honor 6x with the stickers still on the back. Looks like it was turned on but never really used beyond evaluation purposes.
I see that this handset is already aging and that some development went on but may have stopped by now already... what do I need to know? Is it worth experimenting with ROMs on this to get the most out of it? Or should I not bother since the scene is leaving?
Can I even flash roms on this thing if it was never unlocked before?
I started reading and searching here, but I feel like I don't even know what questions to ask. Who can fill me in?
Thanks!

For successfully flashing roms, you need to have bootloader unlock code. Huawei has stopped providing codes way back in mid 2018. I think u should not bother much for this phone.
I have got a spare honor 6x, it has been quite easy (2hr) to unlock it with dc unlocker android app (4€) + dc-unlocker on windows
I'd rather pay 4€ than wait 15days like with Xiaomi
With Android 9 my phone did what I expected Smart Lock to do, stay unlocked at home & work and also when I'm walking around with the phone in a pocket. Doesn't seem to work quite like that since the Android 10 update. Seems to lock itself regardless of the setting sometimes but other times stays unlocked.
Has anybody else come across this or is it just something strange on my phone? Thanks!

It was mentioned on the Asus forum.

Edit - looks like it was you lol. I've always had hit or miss success with smart lock and location on both this phone and my last phone. I wish they would offer unlocking based on wifi. Would be much better.
I cannot confirm such a behaviour, I am using A10 for 9 days.
I have paired my phone to my Chromebook so I am using Smart Lock a lot when unlocking my Chromebook at home just by clicking to my photo without need to type in my password.

Yes that was me! ASUS asked me to install an app on my phone to get a bunch of log files so I've done that & passed it onto them. Even if there's no fix, it's good that they took an interest.
