Return D850 to stock? - AT&T LG G3

Hi, can someone point me in the right direction of how to unroot and relock my bootloader on an AT&T (D850) LG G3? I got my G4 and want to sell my G3 as basically like new, locked, unrooted.
Thanks!

So I get to the part where I hit the yellow arrow but nothing happens. If I unplug the phone and plug it back in, COM41 says "Waiting for connection..." and nothing else happens.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I had installed new LG drivers for the G4, I thought those would be good but had to install the ones in the guide. My bad .

[Q] Bricked Nexus 5? :( Need your help guys

Hi everyone, ( Newbie here)
Pardon me if something similar has already been posted before. I have major issues with my Nexus 5 which gave up on me a day back.
THe phone wont boot up and is stuck at the google logo.
I went through a few troubleshooting steps with the google technicians. We tried recovering it but that didn't work either, nor a hard reset. I dont see the dead android show up after which i can wipe the entire data and do a factory reset.
The USB Debugging feature on my phone was switched off so now if i try to unlock the bootloader using adb i can't. It says erasing but does nothing. I waited for about 25min and gave up on that.
I downloaded the stock android OS from the google website and also have adb and all the drivers installed.
Is there anyway i can get this thing up and running again? Anything at all?
Please help
fastbooting
Well the only thing I can come up with is to boot your phone into fastboot. First turn off your phone then press the power+volume down or power+volup+voldwn and then there should be a screen with an android laying on its back. If you can get that far well continue but if you can't then you can send in your phone
Sounds like you're trying to use adb commands when you should be using fastboot commands

I tried doing that but the recovery mode wont work. I only see a blank screen when i try to get into recovery mode. I dont care about my data anymore. I just hope for the phone to come back alive. How i wish the usb debugging was on
Usb debugging is irrelevant when the phone is off. If you hard power the phone off by holding power button for like 10 secs, try holding just volume down while powering up

fastboot oem unlock
After that i saw
erasing. . .
Which went on for more than 25min and more. So i had to abort.

Could that void the warranty of my phone? I need the .dll file and the ROM or firmware whatever they call it for Nexus 5 32gb ( lg d820) I have downloaded the lg flash tool.

It could not void your warranty. This is how LG would reflash your phone. You will find lg flashtool, dll for D820 and the firmware for D820 32Gb in my lg flashtool thread. You have to use the converted firmware. Dont worry about that it is converted. It was tested by numerous people and never got any negative response.

Worst case scenario is that LG flashtool will stop with Erase command failed error. Google will replace your phone does not matter what happen.

You dont have to install anything to your phone. If lg flashtool will be successful then your phone will be like that when you first turned it on.

The converted one says USE AT OWN RISK . Why so ? I will have to download the 32GB one right? One more question.. what are TOT's ? or TOT file? And there are 2 files inside the 32 GB one.. Which one should i download? The first or the 2nd?
THanks

I should remove the use at your own risk message since it have been confirmed that they dont do any trouble. Tot is the file format of the LG's firmware file format.

Erased OS!! And Cant access Download Mode because Kill Switch

Ok I think I really may have messed up big time with this guys so I'm begging for some help.
]So I just recently bought a AT&T LG G3 on ebay in excellent condition everything worked great until I started experimenting. I rooted it using KingRoot but later decided I'd rather use another method of root because I prefer SuperSu to manage my root access...Anyways to make a long story very short. I needed to get into download mode but Kill Switch had already locked me out because I rooted it..I did not know that McAfee would lock my phone when I rooted.. and so as a last ditch effort I attempted to wipe the entire drive and re-flash the OS well to my surprise that did completely erase the OS as expected but not the Kill Switch. So now im stuck at LG Welcome screen and cant do anything.. I'm at the mercy of the web help PLEASE!!! smh

I have a bricked v20 and I have tried flashing this .tot and the other posted in this forum and I keep getting error messages at 9% on all attempts on two windows machines. Any ideas on what this issue could be? I am using LGUP version 1_14_3. Is this the latest build or the build compatible with the V20? Drivers were latest I could find also using the LG common.dll which I needed for LGUP to recognize the V20. This is my only way out of brick I think. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

u might want to wait a bit longer before u can unbrick your phone.

Not good news.. it is just the dll? I mean i knew it had to be a missing piece because it was ready to flash. Every file failed at the same time. If anyone hears anything please post here or PM me just for a heads up. Im sure a few other desperate souls out there are anxiously waiting. Any reason the flash tools are incomplete? It doesnt seem like a big deal. Can someone here in the forum make one? Just couious.. i would gladly donate. Thanks for the info.

I don't think the flash tool is meant to be public, so they are probably leaked files.
I have a soft bricked LG V20 and have tried the LGUP DLL for every LG phone model I could find. The most progress I got was with the LG G5 dll and it only went to 10%.

been reading up on xda relating to flashing and rooting (i came from samdung phones) this baby. i think being patient here is what you can do at the moment.also, not only the dll file is missing, i read twrp is not saving backup properly due to the new security protocols in place android 7.0.

I appreciate it, wish I'd seen that the day before. I tried to go back to stock recovery to see if that would fix my boot loop issue, so, without access to TWRP, I'm hosed until we have a method to reflash recovery from Fastboot or Update modem connection..
I am screwed as well, I messed my phone up too, and when I turn my phone on it automatically goes the to the upgrade mode screen, I want to through away this damn phone, hehehe.

What's the reason it's stuck on the logo? Did you do something like attempt root or anything?
If you haven't done anything to cause it did you try performing a factory reset?
It could be a hardware issue or battery problem if you didn't do anything to cause the stuck on LG logo problem.

So with the phone off you've tired holding down vol up and power or vol down and power to attempt to factory reset? Your phone doesn't need to boot into the OS to factory reset it...
Also normally this doesn't happen unless it's a hardware issue since you didn't do anything to cause it.
Was the device running MM? If so you need to use LGUP. Lg flashtools 2014 won't work if your running MM 6.0.
Just check out the general section there's a back to stock guide with links to firmwares.

Just use LGUP. And flash your models kdz. There's no specific one just make sure it matches your model.

Yes. Just place your phone in download mode.
If your phone still does the same after flashing it's either your battery or a hardware failure.

A couple of us had the same problem. Just buy a new battery and replace it yourself. It fixed the bootloop for all of us.

Just search the forum and YouTube for lg g flex 2 bootloop and you'll see. I was in the same situation as well and that helped. I replaced it multiple times and I even baked the motherboard in the oven. Just the battery was the issue and thank God nothing worse. And the battery is like 10$ so not too much. Hope you fix it.
