Flash android 5.0 by adb, its possible? Can you say how? I have a rom stock 5.0 of moto x 2014. I was using twrp when a erased my rom. So now my cell dont open a past in windows when i conect to it, so i cant install rom by RDS Lite as i did before.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. You can't flash roms with adb. You can flash custom roms only in a custom recovery or the stock firmware with fastboot. See this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-2014/help

Guys , i am a newbie but i have a major problem.
i was in the process of rooting my moto g but wrongly erased my whole operating.
so i looked up a method to restore to stock [ was running 5.0.2 ] but after flashing recovery and boot image, i couldn't flash system.img and i also deleted a line from the xml following a RSD lite guide.
would you guys help me get the phone running .
i do have the lollipop update official zip .
and i can't even switch of my phone

go on youtube type in how to adb sideload a rom on moto g that video will fix your problem well it did for me GoodLuck
Is recovery installed? Are the Moto drivers installed on your pc?
I've been through something similar before and whenever I accidentally wipe the OS, I just connect then flash another rom usually starting from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-stock-motorola-rom-collection-t2854688 and it will pop up under "my computer" where you can copy and try to flash your rom again. I assume it's the same with 5.0+ (I'm still on 4.4)

Hi, my note 3 has no os installed and I already tried flashing roms but it didnt work, neither did the stock rom. It has twrp installed on it. All caches are deleted and the only thing on it is twrp. How can I fix this?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Probably the easiest thing to do is flash the stock firmware with Odin. Alternatively you could adb push a Rom zip to your phone and flash that with twrp. Odin will return your device to stock and you'll have to root again and put twrp back on. It also will wipe your device. Thing is, that i want to get my original recovery, so i can recieve the OTA for 5.1. I dowloaded some files from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/4g-development/xt1039-moto-g-4g-stock-firmware-kxb21-t2805619 i got the brazilian firmware which is the one that is supossed to work with my phone. But in the files i see a recovery one, so my question is, should i follow the steps on the tutorial or i can flash just the recovery over the TRWP ? Thanks for your responses.

Flashing the complete stock firmware will overwrite your custom recovery with the stock one.
But you can also flash the stock recovery separately afterwards.
I know that Chainfire has stock recovery in his CF-AutoRoot files which will also replace the current recovery with the stock recovery.

Please I need the stock rom for vsun DNA. My phone can only boot to stock recovery, an online update failed and that's how I got to this mess. USB debugging is not enabled and sdcard can't be read by the phone, my only option now is to flash the stock rom through adb sideload. Please I need the rom and some assistance.

dont have any available custom rom for htc 530, only have stock rom, but stock recovery has been replaced with twrp, dont have the img eitheir, tried adb sideload to install rom, but did not work,

As of now,there's no custom ROM/recovery available for your device.Maybe you should wait till someone picks up the device and develops for it.Anyway here's the link to your device forum.
