[Q] Easy way to add more volume steps to Oxygen? - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Back on kitkat, used xposed + volumesteps or some other module.
My understading is that xposed for lollipop is a bit flaky for now, so I was wondering if there was another easy way to change the number of volume steps on the 1+1 running Oxygen?
Thanks!

Nexus 5, Marshmallow 6.0 MRA58N - OTA notification

Hi Guys
After one of the custom 5.1 roms crashed and left me without the phone, I have decided that I will go live with Marshmallow.
I have installed the original stock 6.0 MRA58K which after booting quickly went into MRA58N with OTA update.
Once I have realised how many things I am missing in my phone, due to using the stock ROM, I was looking for a perfect solution and decided that I will no longer be flashing custom ROMs, but use XPOSED as a framework with additional modules.
I have installed the elementalx kernel and added the correct XPOSED framework.
Everything was working fine until yesterday, where I have received notification about OTA update to 6.0.1.
First I thought that I don't really care about emojis, however I do like the option of "Do not disturb until next alarm".
I know that I can achieved by some additional modules to the xposed, however the OTA update is quite annoying.
Because I was on TWRP as a recovery, I have also installed the BusyBox and SimpleRecoverySwitch hoping that this will resolve the issue. Quickly reflashed stock recovery (don't know why, but every time when I was using fastboot to flash recovery with stock recovery.img, TWRP was still there) and found that I still can't use OTA update to 6.0.1. due to error:
"app_process 32 has unexpected contents".
After googling I have found that this is because I have xposed up and running.
Googled than for "unistalling" xposed and found plenty of topics, however none of them have provided me clear answers, especially to the question of "how to uninstall xposed". I have not found any original.img, so I suppose xposed installer have not created any backup, also when I will open xposed Installer - options to "uninstall xposed" are greyed out.
So my question would be - how can I easily remove xposed (temporary) without loosing data/restarting fully the phone, because after 5 days of flashing/reflashing/factory resets I am slowly tired from setting up personal configuration on my phone (even when on Marshmallow is much more easier than on lollipop 5.1).
If this is not possible, how I could remove OTA update from not only notifying me all the time, but also not restarting the phone (wakelock?)
Once you root the phone, you will not be able to upgrade via OTA. Your choices are to follow the instructions on this thread or to completely go back to stock without root and do the OTA.

CM13 lockscreen modifications

Hello everyone!
I just recently flashed the newest release of CM13 for the first time.
Before I only had Xposed Framework installed and really loved the ability to make it impossible to turn off or restart the phone or to access certain tiles in the Quick acces menu (for example airplane mode) while not unlocking it.
I just wondered if I just didn't find these options yet in CM13.
Since I read that Xposed and CM13 don't work well together i wondered if someone here knows how I could get these settings back.
Thanks a lot!

More Multimedia Volume Steps

For anyone who has rooted their phone, does this build prop tweak that gives more multimedia volume steps work on the Mate 9?
ro.config.media_vol_steps=30
This tweak works on stock Android devices but I'm wanting to know if it works on an EMUI phone.
Hi there, I just tried that and it's working great. I tried it for changing lowest volume, but it didn't change. So it just adds more steps.
Edit:my phone is Huawei p9 lite running nougat, emui 5.

30 volume steps - Any way to get it?

The Question:
Hello everybody!
Does anyone know of any other way to get 30 volume steps, or to somehow fine-tune the volume slider?
The rest of the post:
I got a OP6 yesterday, I've just successfylly unlocked bootloader and rooted etc. I'm on 9.0.2, the phone was already upgraded when I got it so I had no chance to stay on Oreo.
Now I'm looking for a way to get 30 volume steps for media, instead of the usual 15.
- Back in the olden days I used Xposed and VolumeSteps+, but neither Xposed or VolumeSteps+ seem to work with OP6 on Android Pie. Tried installing it but no luck. It seems that some people have gotten it to work on Oreo with some workarounds. (Maybe a downgrade would be needed for me..)
- I also saw the Magisk module Volume Steps Increase, but that doesn't seem to work with Oneplus 6 at all. Tried installing it, no luck.
Thanks in advance!

THE UPDATE:
Gosh! I also have 30 steps!
Erhm. How did this happen? Did I miss this stock-feature? I kinda just assumed that it was 15 steps, but didn't check before starting to root etc.
Or could it be from flashing blu-kernel?
*confused*
(I run 9.0.2 with blu-kernel and blu-recovery.)
I actually have 30 steps but haven't applied any mods besides ex kernel.

If you have root, you can write this two lines in the build.prop:
ro.config.vc_call_vol_steps=xx
ro.config.media_vol_steps=xx
Where xx = steps you need
First one for call speaker vol.
Second for media vol.
P.S. This will work on any ROM.
Haha! I just realized I also have 30 steps! I was stock 9.0.0 then updated to 9.0.2 and rooted with magisk and twrp and I literally just realized haha! (Stock kernal btw)
