Built quality, glass si kinda moving - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

Does any one have problem with build quality?
When I push screen(glass) on left side near edges it's moving down and up, like it's not properly bonded. Also right bottom corner of screen is not in same level as edges, so it's kinda sharp when you go with finger over it.
I am not sure, should I go and change device or its like that on every device

Maybe you should get a replacement I haven't noticed that on mine.

I haven't noticed that but I did notice that when I was putting on a screen protector last night and looking under a light, you can see what looks like hairline scratches or marks on the glass. It's only when you hold the phone at certain angles that you can see them.

Mine has a tiny piece of trash or dirt under the screen, very small but annoying

Yet another screen bleed thread (possible fix)

Guys there was a thread posted not too long ago about fixing screen bleed by loosening the screws in the back but everyone said it was pointless to do that. I actually think that the person was onto something. I have very minimal screen bleed on the two top corners and one thing I noticed is that when I grab the phone and sort of twist the top using mild pressure the screen bleed goes away based on what direction I'm twisting the top of the phone from.
Whoever has screen bleed should definitely try doing what I said and see if you notice what I did. Whichever corner you pull back on, the screen bleed from that corner goes away. I will go out tomorrow and buy a screwdriver for the screws in the back and try loosening it and see how that goes because if it goes well than that would mean I have a flawless device because minor screen bleed is all I seem to be having as far as issues go.
Can a few people try taking pressure away from the corners that are affected by screen bleed by twisting the phone and report back with your results. Thank you.
I think this will loosen the actual LCD and cause more screen bleed. LCD's and backlights are housed together in usually flimsy metal sheaths. So bending and applying hard pressure will loosen or weaken the metal clips that pressure the two together.
I think the beveled glass is what ultimately lead to the bleeding. I'd imagine its harder to install than just a flat panel and they just didn't care. They had the phone designed and after they built it, they knew about the bleeding and said......**** it.

Okay well all I'm saying is for those who have minor screen bleed to try and turn the top and see if it goes away while being held at a certain pressure because mine goes away when theres pressure being put on the opposite side thus easing pressure off of said side. It works for me.
If I loosen the screws and it goes away that'll be awesome and to be honest I think the reason MY phone has screen bleed is because the screws are over tightened from the factory. That seems like a logical assumption based on what I noticed.
This does absolutely nothing.
I just went into a dark room and loosened and tightened the screws on the back with the screenbleed test app running. It doesn't change a thing on the LCD.

Extreme Guard for HTC Sensation

I just wanted to post my experience using Extreme Guard on my Sensation.
Installation took about 25 minutes, overall it wasn't that hard.
The most challenging aspect/cons were:
1. The small holes for the microphones/noise reduction are so small and hard to remove without stretching the plastic or making the plastic look kind of white/funny.
2. I am not sure if it was just my cutout piece but the middle back section wasn't pre-cut very well and I ended up with some jagged edges on the back because of this.
3. The screen protector looks slightly beat up on angles after 2 days. This is mostly my fault as the rubbery texture does feel really nice and I would tap my nails on it kind of just holding the phone. I realized after at an angle I can now see a scuffed up surface on the coating.
4. No protection for the outer rims on the phone.
5. Make sure to remove the plastic where any tiny holes are our it WILL effect your audio quality. (at first I missed the microphone hole and thought my mic was bad cause people complained how I sounded) this was fixed as soon as I removed the cover from that small hole.
Now for the Pros:
1. Installation overall went smooth.
2. Once it cures although it looks shiny and doesn't have 100% coverage it does make the phone feel alot more solid and gripable(honestly I though I would drop the phone with it's standard material.
3. The touch screen works fine with the thicker material over it but does have a slightly rubbery feeling.
4. At first I thought it looked horrible and I messed the whole thing up. I followed directions and used soap and water to apply. It was hazy some slight air bubbles and overall looked horrible in all aspects. I let it go for about 2-3 days and as promised it dried out and there is no more bubbles or haziness. I am really impressed how it turned around, it's really a snug clear fit on the phone.
Overall I would suggest getting this if you don't mind the glossy look and the lack of coverage around the rim of the phone. I think the grip alone will save the phone from a nasty fall and certainly protect the screen if dropped.
I hope this helps someone. I can't post a link because I am new here but you can easily find it on ebay.
Pics or it didn't happen
Ill see what I can do for pix...I sold my old phone so this will be a challenge as I don't have a digital cam. However I am noticing the screen protector through use is getting slight marks in the plastic from my nails. I don't have long nails at all...just normal length for a Guy but just the slight tapping on the screen(protector) causes visible marks when the screen is dimmed.

Paranoid new owner...silly question?

So I just took out my sensation from the box and noticed the stock screen protector was off set and already peeling back a great amount on the top corner. I looked closely and noticed that the small tab at the top of the screen protector is actually inside the ridge of the phone, in that small thin crack where the front-screen ends. That was what cause the screen protector to not lay flat and started bending inward. I slowly peeled the protector back and when it came to the part that was "stuck" or jammed into the crack it took a good tug (I guess it was the adhesive...or it was really in there) for it to pop out. This couldn't have done any damage right? The small crack leads to nothing does it?
Probably just means it got caught in the gap when being fitted. I assume when you say 'crack' you mean the gap where the screen meets the rest of the body of the phone?
Yeah, where the black part ends.
Also, I have removed it and replaced it on more accurately since then and noticed it sticks to the screen very well, even attaching itself to parts that I have not even smoothed my fingers over yet, must be the static? Are there any disadvantages in using this as opposed to buying a new screen protector?
If it works then continue using it. We don't get them pre-fitted in the UK so I bought a 3rd party one
edit: delete this thread please mod thank you

Gaps on device collecting debris?

In my device, dust and all kinds of other dirt are getting stuck in the small gaps where the aluminium casing and the screen glass meet in the top. You can only see the debris when looking closely and in good lighting, but it is there, and keeps building up over time. I can only remove it with a sheet of paper, since that's the only thing that's thin enough to fit in the gap.
Not really a big deal, but I think it's a hardware fault on my unit, do any of you have this problem? Look closely at the gap above your earpiece grill, is there any debris in there? There's no dirt or debris in the bottom gap below the screen for me, but there is quite a lot in the top one. Not getting a perfect build quality like a device of this price range should get, my screen is pretty heavily green-tinted (sliding the green slider in display settings to 0% is just enough to fix it) and the gaps are collecting debris.
Yup exactly the same here, both top and bottom of the screen but the top is a lot worse (probably because thats the bit that gets pressed against your ear). Not impressed with that, it poor design to have gaps like that. It may not notice as much on the lighter coloured versions but i can plainly see it on my black one without even needing to look very hard.

Note10+ (Top screen gap / space)

Hello,
Received my Note10+ yesterday, so far love the device.
I just noticed today (this morning) on bright sun / light a gap of couple of millimeters on top of the screen.
Looks like screen is not going to the edge on top side only, is this normal?

Please see image for better view / understanding.
Thanks
that gap is for the sensors and speaker
Thank you very much for your time and responding to this thread.
I am a little bit confused, isnt the speaker at the bottom?
I had Samsung S10+ until yesterday, and i do not remember seeing gap like this (its not the same phone, but, probably similar design / i might be wrong though).
Thank you
The gap in the middle 2 arrows are the cut out for the front speaker the other gaps are where the screen meets the frame sometime there bigger on different phones its hut and miss
But if it bothers you exchange it for one that fits a bit better
Thank you very much for responding.
I think i have 15 days to replace / return the phone (i will re-check), but, if its kinda normal, and possible on any other phone, even replacement, i do not think its wise to do it.
Once i put case on, i do not even think it will be that visible (hardly visible now as well if not on bright light).
Biggest concern if this would affect IP68 in anyway
Thanks

I think there is a way you can test the ip rating without obviously putting it in water
Back when I had the xperia phones you could squeeze the device and check the pressure didn't rise and stay risen to indicate its water tight
Thank you again for your time.
I decided to test that gap by pouring water on it for about 20-30 seconds, no issues at all.
I will not bother with this, will just enjoy the phone.
Thanks again.
The picture link is not working. From my understanding the only small gap should be in the center where the top speaker hole is. But the left and right side of the top speaker till the corner should not have any gap. I am having the same issue. I'm going to check to see if other models are like that.
Same, should not be there.
In the end i decided to return the phone.
Upon closer inspections took some photos and judging by other demo units on display. They all have that white line gap. Some are more noticable than others. But same line can be seen. I compared 3 different phones from different stores. They all exist. It's seems like that white line looks like maybe it's the adhesive glue. The middle does not have it where the ear speaker cutout is, where the ear speaker hole ends on both side left and right white line is visible because of the extra gap on both sides and it appears that the line stops before the corner on each side of the glass on the top. It's maybe nitpicking buts it's really annoying. I checked on the S10 it's not present on that model and none I see on the Note 9 too. I checked. And since it's like white color can be visible inside the small gap line on the top where the glass meets up with the metal frame.
I actually just discovered that I can get a piece of paper down between the top of the screen and the frame on my Note 10 +!!!??? All along the top of the glass - from the top left corner to the right?
Is this what you are talking about? And will the phone still be waterproof? (There could still be a rubber membrane that prevents water from entering the insides of the phone...)
