[Completed] [Q] Touch screen stopped working chinese phone No.1 X-men X1 - XDA Assist

Hello!
Last week i just got my No.1 X-men X1 phone. Yesterday when i was on fb messenger it froze while i was taking a picture, but i was still able to reboot the phone normally from the screen. When it turned on again the whole touch screen stopped working. I don't think it's hardware because the phone was only in my hands when i rebooted it..I went into recovery and wiped everything i could (it still has everything original) and it didn't help. The phone did have a weird task manager installed (DU Battery saver or something like that) maybe that broke the driver? I am a newbie with chinese phones and really need help!!!
If there is someone that can help me please respond because i don't have any other phone now.
Best regards
Tina D.

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately I can't find anything relating to your device on XDA. It might be best to contact the manufacturer or seller and claim warranty as it is defective.

[Q] Moto G bootloop

Hi,
I realize many of you will state this has been asked before but I really can't find a fix for the phone so I thought maybe it's best to ask my own question and describe the issue.
So I work in a small company dealing with recycled mobile phones. I've been there about a year and a half, I had no training as it was just me and another guy, so it was just google and a lot of help from this site, so thanks guys for all the great help as I've got most of my answers from previously asked questions. I'm not a complete noob, but still have lots to learn.
This question I will keep related to the Moto G. So in my company we managed to pick up around 20 Moto G XT-1032. However around 6 of them seem to have software issues, after a factory reset (after testing) 6 got stuck on a boot loop. So I searched around and found 'http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219' which I followed and managed to flash the software back to 4.3, I had issues on an XP computer but after trying with a windows 7 it seemed to work and the phone booted up. The 6 which got stuck in a boot loop had previously been factory reset as I could see it was at the factory set-up when I turned them on. So I was quite confused why 6 would get stuck.
So today I actually finally figured out to move to a windows 7 laptop which allowed me to actually flash the phones. After flashing the phone back to 4.3 I tested the phone and all seemed fine, so as these are to be sold I had to factory reset them again (resetting through the standard settings, no special code). So once again they all seemed to get stuck in a bootloop, but instead of an actual bootloop it shows the Motorola logo and then the screen goes black but I can see the backlight is still on, then it just sits there as long as I leave it, over 4 hours so far.
I have attempted a second flash on one of the phones and it's done the same. I'm downloading UK firmware for the xt1032 not the dual sim version. I've held the power button for 120 seconds as someone mentioned that on some random thread. Managed to get to restart and got into the android bios thingy (not sure what it's actually called, hopefully you'll understand what I mean) and attempted a factory reset but it just gets stuck on the black screen (still can see the backlight is on).
I'm now out of ideas, I really don't know what else to try. I'd really appreciate if someone could shine some light on this and what could possibly be causing the issues. The phones look brand new and are known as '14 day returns' meaning someone has returned it from new after 14 days, they are then fully tested by the manufacturer before being sold to companies like ourselves. If it was one phone I'd suspect maybe a hardware issue but because it's 6 I'm just thinking this would be a strange coincidence.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who could give me advice on, unlocking, flashing and anything else which could help me at my place of work. I work with Sony's, HTC's, Lumia's, Samsung's and Motorola's, and also every now and again ZTE and Huawei's. So feel free to contact me if you think you could offer me any advice, all is welcome.
Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance to any advice.

[Completed] [Q] Sony Xperia Z display problems after replacement

Hello everyone
It's been a while since I have had a problem with a device that I repair but unfortunately it has happened again today.
Today at 5 pm a friend of mine came by with his xperia z to replace the screen. I first run through the tutorial and see whether I came across something I do not know. Then I just started the repair and took my time to complete it. I finished at 19:30 pm. I also installed a new parts I've replaced the display and the on / off volume flex cable. After having successfully placed everything the most exciting moment of the evening followed, turning on the device. The 1st time I turned on the phone it worked so well. I did some tests and turned the phone a few times on and off to see if that would not cause any problems. But after 4 times the phone only showed the backlight. I have been through all the connections and also did an disassembly again to see if there might be a flex cable that is not properly connected but I could not find anything.
Now my question to you is fellow members, would anyone here help me or has anyone here had previously experienced.
With kind regards,
0ViP0

[Q] Asus Fonepad 7 K00E won't boot at all!

Hi everyone!
First of all I would like to thank everyone who took the time to read this.
So about a year ago, I bought an Asus Fonepad 7 Model:K00E. Of course that decision was heavily regretted due to the uncountable bugs and malfunctions due to low manufacturing cost and non existent support from Asus itself. Anyways, so I lived with it.
A month or so after buying it, it fell screen first on concrete floor. And as you expected, the touch screen broke. ONLY the touch screen though. So then I had it replaced.
From then on the real problems began, touch screen would suddenly freeze when connected to charger, keypad would type on its own occasionally, and SD card reader no longer worked. Basically they screwed it up even more. Oh and when I changed the screen and made a factory reset due to thinking they were software related, it booted and said android is upgrading (like when you wipe dalvik) but if literally upgraded to KitKat.
Anyways, so problems stopped after a while and and came back occasionally. It worked okay for months, then one day when I was restarting it..it didn't boot..literally. Nothing even showed on the screen, it never turned on. It would just vibrate then nothing would happen. When I took it for fix and repair, since there literally no support from Asus themselves, I took it to a third party shop. After a few days I realized that people who worked there didn't know **** and just said it needs a new software.. Then they said the mother board needs to be replaced (which is basically like buying a new one..even the prices are close)
So I want to ask if there is anyway of fixing it or if anyone experienced this and how they solved it.. Sorry for the long post, just wanted to give every detail so you'd see the full picture. Thanks in advance, any and all replies are appreciated!
my device also switched off yesterday and now won't boot up, did you found any solution???
I some problem, this no boot is a only startup on recovery mode

The service centre guys confirmed that the device's motherboard is dead, so I bought a new motherboard and my tab is now working good

[Completed] Lenovo s850 accelerometer calibration error

Hi.!
Recently I have buyed lenovo s850 it is working good, but a few day ago there is a problem when I opened camera my phone is directly going into landscape mode even when I hold it in portrait and I showed it in lenovo servicing centre also they checked but said nothing is wrong, they even flashed new firmware but no change finally they said it is an mother board problem, they said that it will take 12 to 15 days to change the mother board from factory, but I didn't like that and I brought my mobile to my house and tried to caliberate my g.sensor it worked some good but it is not staying for a long, I have downloaded accelerometer test apk, it is saying that caliberating (10.2px) when ever this process takes place my sensor works nice but after that it will retrack back, so sir is there any solutions so that I can correct my calibration error values. Thank you

[Completed] Screen flickering Meizu m2 note

Hello, I actually have a small problem on my phone.. I searched for the solutions but I am unable to find a reliable fix.. Everybody has a quite different type of this problem..
Phone model: Meizu m2 note
Previous os : Flyme 5(stock)
Current OS: Cm 12.1 (by Moyster on xda)
SCREEN FLICKERING
Well, before I start I would like to say that my phone has actually survived a water bath.. The phone fell in the swimming pool when my friends were trying to click a pic.. It didn't switch on, on the same day, but I disassembled it completely, and let it dry for a week.. Later the phone worked completely fine.. It's been 3 months since the incident...
Well the problem now is the SCREEN FLICKERING.. I guess It has nothing to do with the water damage cause that was almost 3 months back and this problem started around a month ago, when I was on flyme 5. And nope, the phone has never fallen off my hands.. The phone works fine for maybe the first 30 minutes after keeping it idle for a long time... The screen flickers even during the bootup, fastboot, and even in recovery..
I have two Meizu m2 note in my home.. The other one is my mom's phone.. And I almost update same roms on both the phones.. And my mom's phone is working completely fine and not facing this problem.. I don't have a warranty for this anymore, but I can still give it to the company's service center.. The main reason I posted this thread is because I just wanna know if this is a software or a hardware problem.. Cause in few other threads they said that this had sumthng to do with the kernel and stuff.. I don't wanna leave my phone at a service center for 2 months if this is fixable at home..
Not the complete screen flickers, but only the upper top part of the screen..
I have attached a YouTube link for a perfect view of the screen.. The phone on the video is my phone..!

I would really appreciate if you would help me on this.. thank you.. :victory:
