[Q] LG GW620 questions

Hello everyone, i'm new to this site, just joined about 5 mins ago. And i see you guys mean business. I have an lg gw 620 and it has some malfunctions. After i bought it i started to explore it. I noticed that i can not send text messages, i can not download from the internet and my bluetooth is not working. I have went back from where i bought it since the phone has it's warranty , they kept it for 2 weeks and when it came back they told me i need a bluetooth ear thingy so i could send/receive data from other phones, i still can not send messages and i still can not download from the internet, the videos don't load either. Does anyone know how i could solve the problems by myself , of course with your help?Might it be that this is a software problem or a physical telephone problem? And another question, how could i make an animated .gif work on my wallpaper?
Thank you in advance !
Keep up the good work.

whatsapp problem

i have a samsung galaxy s captivate rooted and running cyanogen mod & miui. i've had whats app installed on it since july. i change my simcard to another phone (htc) for work coz i dont want my samsung to get damaged. it also has whats app installed so when i put it in i have to reverify.
likewise when i get home from work and put the sime back in my cappy i have to reverify whatsapp again on it.
i do this mon-fri and have for the past 2 months.
today i went to work with the simcard in htc and was propted to reverify whatsapp. fine. come home and put sim back in cappy. it propmted me to verify went through the process got sent a code text then it said "Initializing" for ages and i keep getting message "failure. sorry unable to complete initialisation"
i've tried rebooting the phone, i've also tried unistalling and reinstalling the app itself.
any ideas whats caused this and how to fix it?
I AM FULLY CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET (WIFI)
it seems there is a problem at their end
sync contacts dosent work thats a problem
if u have backup restore it which i did able to send msg but not able to refresh contacts
lets us hope they fix it soon
so there is an ongoing problem with the actuall app just now?
it said something about previous msgs detected do i want to restore then i clicked yes but again it wont get past the initialization.
Yes ongoing probs
now it seems solved my contacts is up but status msg is shown as error
Restore the whole app if you had backed up with titanium backup or similar apps

[Completed] [Q] My phone won't stop receiving messages (duplicates) - Xperia Z1 - Lollipop

My phone won't stop receiving messages (duplicates, for hours on end)
I get about 100 copies of messages an hour. My phone is the Xperia Z1 c6903, it started right after the Lollipop upgrade yesterday. My carrier is t-mobile. I tried different apns, messaging apps, and clearing app caches.
I would like to solve this without a full wipe if possible.

maybe it's a carrier's problem...
Some years ago I had the same problem, I called the operator and they solved the question

It doesn't happen with my friend's phone on t-mobile. unfortunately our sims are different sizes so we can't easily check. I'll give them a call though, thanks.
Edit: gave them a ring, they couldn't solve the problem.

Sony Xperia Z3 SMS Glitch

Hi XDA,
I've owned an Xperia Z3 (D6603) since Nov 2014 on contract that came with Android 4.4.4 where the phone worked perfectly.
As of Android 5.0.2 / 5.1, I've had a ton of problems with the phone.
I've had:
1) Frequent reboots of the phone by itself
2) App crashing frequently
3) Phone dialer app crashing when making and receiving calls
4) Music randomly not playing until I restart the device.
5) Inability to send a standard SMS to a single contact in my phone book
Device:
Sony Xperia Z3 D6603 16GB Black
Build number: 23.4.A.0.546
Android 5.1.1
Carrier: 3 UK
I have done a full factory reset twice and the issues still remain.
The SMS glitch is a really really odd one that I can't explain fully.
I go to one contact in my phone book, Tap the SMS option and it'll take me to the Messaging window and the text box at the bottom of the window doesn't appear for that single contact.
I have deleted and resaved the number and nothing helps.
Can anyone help with the above?
I'm short of getting in touch with 3 and sending the device back for repairs / replacement
Thanks in advance!
