samsung showcase HELP!!!

I apologize in advance, since I know people have asked questions similar to this already. But I am desperate for help, as I have been trying to fix my phone for 3 days now, and have not gotten anywhere!!! so here is my story/problem.
I was trying to do an update on my samsung showcase (cspire) using kies, and during the download it was interrupted somehow. The phone was bricked. (i think) so then I found something called one-click unbrick. after that i'm able to put the phone in download or recovery mode.
So i have been trying to get factory rom back on my phone. I downloaded odin3 v1.70 and v1.82 (i have tried both of these) and i have downloaded atlas 2.2 for pit and I have tried both EH09_modem_CS.TAR.MD5 and EI20.tar.md5\EI20.tar.md5. Everytime I do this odin freezes on factoryyfs.rfs.... I have tried all the tricks I can find, different usb port, diff cable, running as admin, i even download sandboxie ( someone suggested that)... I dont know if i am doing something wrong, or if it is odin... Also, i'm not rly sure about the software i'm using... I have very little experience with this kind of stuff, but i am really determined to fix this! please forgive my ignorance! TIA!!

Try flashing a custom rom and boot.img first then Odin back to stock

HELP PLEASE... GALAXY TAB P6200 Softbrick

Anyone there who could help... I've been get hype when i receive my first android device (galaxy tab P6200) so i search for tutorial on how to root and flash new firmawre.. i did everything in the tutorial but suddenly.. odin has stop working. when i boot my P6200 it turns out to be softbrick.. sorry i'am kinda new on android scene i've been on ios scene before o didn't think it would be harder to find a solution on android... ive spent 2 straight days finding downloading firmware ive even search xda for this matter but no luck... i can still access download mode but odin and Heimdall still give me such error that prevents me to fix my device... i'am kinda losing hope so i try to post here to see if its still a chance for me to recover my softbrick device... hope someone could help... insanely beggin....:crying:

Need more info, exact model number firmware you were on, firmware file you were tryimg to flash, did you check, or uncheck anything in Odin? Download mode is good, you should be OK.
How do you know its softbrick? Bootloop, hang at logo? Which one?, as much data as possible will get you fixed faster.

I had same problem. You need a PIT file for p6200 and use it in odin together with the newest firmware from sammobile.com.
It works for me.

I have limited knowledge on flashing, but as far as I know, If u r using a 'PIT' file, be sure to check on 'Repartition' Option in Odin (while flashing). If u Flash wid ONLY a md5 file, ensure that 'Re Partition' box is unchecked while flashing. May be u kept Repartition checked while you were not using a PIT file or vice versa.
If that is d case, try flashing again by following a correct process.

[Q] Odin failing OTA 4.3

What I did
Installed Clockwork through the play store and then clicked on the option to flash it.
I was running a rooted verizon's touchwiz for 4.3 jelly bean on samsung galaxy s3. Someone should probably write that guy and be like hey it doesn't work for your software and firmware versions ... because it checked it and said it was all good. Yeah I'm a noob but it's been 4 months since the last post saying it can't be done and I figured people would have updated their software to work with the nonsense that samsung decided to shove down our throats.
I've followed a few threads now on trying to fix my phone
The one I found most helpful in terms of directions was
ID: 1840030 is the one in particular that I thought would be the most helpful
I download all these packages (and man are they slow to download)
VRALEC fails to flash in odin 3.07 and some of the pictures don't match up (I've tried flashing everything just for the fun of it and it just fails)... Phone still turns on though. I can't find any other versions of odin even on thread titled [27.08.2013 LATEST] Odin 3.09, Odin 1.85 | All versions! | Samsung ROM Flashing Tools.
I'm just an idiot that can't seem to find links but there weren't any there (probably because of the "Mod Edit link removed")

Im a lil confused on wat ur asking and wat happened to ur fone
U were on 4.3ota lock bootloader and u tried to download CLOCKMOD RECOVERY?
If thats true then u Brick ur fone. But u stated that it powers on. So u can get into DL Mode and Odin the correct file wich would be ML1
Flashing ML1 tar file will lock ur bootloader(WONT BE ABLE TO UNLOCK IT) and unroot it

I found another version of Odin inside one of the zip packages I downloaded. This one at least looks like the pictures that were posted in the thread.

Like the other poster I'm still not real sure what you are trying to do but that said sammobile is a good place to find ROMs if you rather not snag files from here. Always check md5 hashes as sometimes downloads can be bad. If your downloaded file is even a little bit corrupted, it will fail to flash potentially creating all sorts of bad things.
Judging from what you've posted from the ODIN MODE data you've tripped KNOX already and AFAIK that cannot be reversed and voided any warranty. Could be wrong as I've not kept up with newer workarounds as I've not needed to do so.
I would suggest taking a deep breath and start to slowly read. Good luck.

SOFT BRICK Galaxy S6 (SM-G920I)

this is the second time i've soft bricked my phone in the past 6 days and if this is fixable i will probably consider researching for weeks at a time before trying anything new..
anyway, the first time i soft bricked my phone last week, my s6 was rooted (via chainfire, G920IDVU1AOC6) but i decided to unroot so i could update software. after unrooting with SuperSU, i attempted to update by using smart switch and then something went wrong with that process (my firmware was at G920IDVU1AOC4) which i then fixed by flashing G920IDVU1BOE3 (latest stock firmware) WITHOUT the hidden.img
backstory out of the way, i wanted to flash TWRP so i could install xposed installer. i used the same chainfire firmware that worked the week prior (above) and so now my phone is soft bricked
things i've tried:
- flashing recovery of AOC4 - i can get back into recovery mode with the older firmware
- flashing AOC4 stock firmware with AND without the hidden.img
- flashing the BOE3 stock firmware with AND without the hidden.img
i'm still able to get into download mode and stock recovery and i've already tried wiping cache and factory reset but nothing works.
i continue to get FAILED on odin
if anyone is able to bring my phone back from purgatory for the second time it would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I soft bricked my s6 too :/ its fine now so dont worry, actually, I read somewhere the problem of failing is in Odin, and you need to flash the stock recovery and then recocery.img you extracted from it in a way odin can read, im from my phone now so I will try to search it out, hope I will find. Dont worry dude your s6 is alive.

UPDATE: i tried flashing stock and then the my-recovery.img.tar and i could get into recovery but i was stuck in boot loop.
is there something i'm doing that's incorrect?

I FIXED IT.
i'm not exactly sure of the steps i took, as i had to keep waiting for my Unified Android Toolkit to create the tars but essentially what i did was i flashed;
- stock BOE3 WITHOUT hidden.img
- TWRP recovery (was able to boot into twrp and when i looked through some settings (reboot) it said i had no OS installed for some reason
- from this info i tried flashing the AOC4 older firmware WITHOUT hidden.img then it worked.
do you think it is worth attempting the smart switch thing mentioned in that link you posted?
i wouldn't want to run into this problem again..

my lord.. so SOMEHOW i managed to get myself into this for THE THIRD TIME..
once i got it fixed, just a few hours ago, everything was fine and i was then able to flash CF root again.
but once i tried to install TWRP (it worked before i fixed the second time) odin FAILED again and i'm back to square one.
i'm unsure how to properly fix it and the steps i took before aren't working now and i can't even flash any recoveries (whether its AOC4, BOE3 or TWRP)
can anyone suggest anything else please?? i'm in panic mode again lol
this is definitely the last time i try to do any type of configuration with this device.

Do you have recovery now? Maybe burn some custom rom? ..

now i can't flash the twrp .. it won't work. this suck so much!
UPDATE (final update, hopefully ): fixed it AGAIN.
after going through this hellish nightmare for the 3rd time and reading countless threads, i've discovered that the FAILs on odin may be occurring due to the corruption of the firmware file.
so if anyone goes through my problem, CREATE A COPY of the desired firmware before flashing with odin!

Help me unbrick a N8013ZW

first I'd read several topics about what should be done in these cases, but until now I still have the same problem.
The info:
I received yesterday a N8013ZW in a bootloop, read several sites and tried to reflash the tablet.
With Odin 3 v1.85 [just auto reboot option selected] installed the file KIES_HOME_N8013UEALI3_N8013XARALI3_1081475_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 but from a bootloop passed to a bricked state in the Samsung logo.
Went to the Internet and read that I need to clean up the Cache, so I should install a recovery that allow me to do this.
With Odin again, with auto reboot and f.reset time, installed philz_touch_6.00.8-n8013.tar.md5 but after trying to boot to recovery didn't work.
So can please somebody help me to figure it out what I'm doing wrong here.
Maybe my files are incorrect or I should select another option.
Please someone point me in the right direction.

Tried last night with TWRP 2.8.7.0 touch and the same, the installation when just alright but not new recovery installed. Power button + volume up.

In 99.9% of cases it's not possible to boot into recovery mode is a hardware problem. Probably faulty controller or died flash memory. You need to contact the service center to replace the motherboard.

Tried this guide as per AndriiG suggestion, but did not worked.
Let's see if I can find something else.

Well, if you want yourself to continue attempts to recover a tablet, try a SERVICE firmware. First, it has the pit file, and secondly, in the CSC-file laid a full wipe of the device. Download directly from Samsung servers can program SamFirm (note highlighted):

I just followed the instructions provided by codified in this thread and proceed to download the file GT-N8013_XAR_1_20130927111406_k23qt8fzd7.zip.enc2, the I'd proceed to select Check CRC32 and Decrypt automatically and got the file GT-N8013_XAR_1_20130927111406_k23qt8fzd7.zip and the uncompressed this file to have KIES_HOME_N8013UEUCMI3_N8013XARCMI3_813049_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 which looks like the first file that I tried with some subtle differences KIES_HOME_N8013UEALI3_N8013XARALI3_1081475_REV00_u ser_low_ship.tar.md5
I will try this tonight as soon as I arrive home.

I guess now to find the service firmware 4.0.4 is hardly possible. And to revive the tablet it doesn't matter

The day before last night I tried the Prerooted UEALH2 Firmware Package by Entropy512 with the same result as before, stuck at Samsung Logo.
Today I'd just tried the method recently provided by @ViAlexSt and sadly the result was the same.
So, I supposed that this is a hardware issue as specified before.

Unfortunately, you're not the first with this problem. On the Russian forum 4PDA enough of your "brothers in misfortune". The key point of the problem is inability to boot into recovery mode. And one solution - replace the motherboard.....
