What I did
Installed Clockwork through the play store and then clicked on the option to flash it.
I was running a rooted verizon's touchwiz for 4.3 jelly bean on samsung galaxy s3. Someone should probably write that guy and be like hey it doesn't work for your software and firmware versions ... because it checked it and said it was all good. Yeah I'm a noob but it's been 4 months since the last post saying it can't be done and I figured people would have updated their software to work with the nonsense that samsung decided to shove down our throats.
I've followed a few threads now on trying to fix my phone
The one I found most helpful in terms of directions was
ID: 1840030 is the one in particular that I thought would be the most helpful
I download all these packages (and man are they slow to download)
VRALEC fails to flash in odin 3.07 and some of the pictures don't match up (I've tried flashing everything just for the fun of it and it just fails)... Phone still turns on though. I can't find any other versions of odin even on thread titled [27.08.2013 LATEST] Odin 3.09, Odin 1.85 | All versions! | Samsung ROM Flashing Tools.
I'm just an idiot that can't seem to find links but there weren't any there (probably because of the "Mod Edit link removed")

First thing first
Directions ID is a bad one (sorry about that). Best I can do is this one here: showthread.php?t=1840030
second:
Brick means that it doesn't turn on. I never said I bricked it.
Things I've done since OP
I found another version of Odin inside one of the zip packages I downloaded. This one at least looks like the pictures that were posted in the thread.
I attempted to reflash VRALEC boot twice and both failed.
What I'm looking for:
I'm looking for an image that will work or
I was trying to backup the stock image and I'm worried I don't even have that now.

Like the other poster I'm still not real sure what you are trying to do but that said sammobile is a good place to find ROMs if you rather not snag files from here. Always check md5 hashes as sometimes downloads can be bad. If your downloaded file is even a little bit corrupted, it will fail to flash potentially creating all sorts of bad things.
Judging from what you've posted from the ODIN MODE data you've tripped KNOX already and AFAIK that cannot be reversed and voided any warranty. Could be wrong as I've not kept up with newer workarounds as I've not needed to do so.
I would suggest taking a deep breath and start to slowly read. Good luck.

Need more info, exact model number firmware you were on, firmware file you were tryimg to flash, did you check, or uncheck anything in Odin? Download mode is good, you should be OK.
How do you know its softbrick? Bootloop, hang at logo? Which one?, as much data as possible will get you fixed faster.
I had same problem. You need a PIT file for p6200 and use it in odin together with the newest firmware from sammobile.com.
It works for me.

I have limited knowledge on flashing, but as far as I know, If u r using a 'PIT' file, be sure to check on 'Repartition' Option in Odin (while flashing). If u Flash wid ONLY a md5 file, ensure that 'Re Partition' box is unchecked while flashing. May be u kept Repartition checked while you were not using a PIT file or vice versa.
If that is d case, try flashing again by following a correct process.
How to root the SGH-T769 Galaxy S Blaze 4G from T-Mobile
if you are running Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich
**As always, I am NOT responsible for any bricked or broken devices. These steps worked for me, but are NOT guaranteed to work for you. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK**
STEPS
You must first downgrade your phone to Gingerbread
Back up all the data on your Blaze and perform a factory reset. If you do not do this, you will have issues with the setup wizard force closing (voice of experience)
Download Odin here and extract the file. Open Odin.
Go to SamMobile's Firmware Page
Register with SamMobile (it's free) and make sure you are logged in to continue
Enter your device (Blaze 4G is T-769)
In the chart at the bottom, click July 2012 Version 2.3.6
Follow the directions on the page to download the Gingerbread firmware
Extract these files
Download the PIT
In Odin, hit PIT and use the PIT file you just downloaded
Hit PDA and put in the .tar you downloaded from SamMobile
MAKE SURE YOU ONLY HAVE AUTO REBOOT CHECKED AND NOTHING ELSE
Put your device into download mode (instructions here)
Odin should say "Added!"
Hit START to begin flashing
The phone will reboot on its own when flashing is complete
Check the firmware version in the "About Phone" section in Settings to make sure you are now in Gingerbread 2.3.6
You have now downgraded your device.
Now you need to flash the rooted kernel. Follow the instructions here.
You should now be rooted!
Good luck! I wish you all the best!

I just had to replace my rooted Blaze through insurance because phones and water don't mix.
I'm trying to root the new one I just got, but I am running into a lot of issues and would really appreciate some help.
The old phone was running Gingerbread and I was easily able to root it with Odin. It took only a few minutes.
The new one, however, is not so nice. Here is a list of what I've tried:
Tried rooting with Odin
Realized I was flashing the Gingerbread version and soft bricked the phone where it wouldn't go past the boot screen (bar fully loaded and then would do nothing else)
Reverted to stock ICS
Searched for 3 days and nights to find an ICS version to flash
Supposedly found a few, but each time they soft bricked the phone and I had to re-flash the ICS stock
Downgraded to Gingerbread so I could flash the version in Odin that I knew worked
The downgraded version was buggy and the phone wouldn't go past the first step of the setup wizard
Repeated steps 5-7 all night long before giving up and asking for help
I've tried all k0nane's tutorials, read through a ton of XDA threads, tried Blz3r, and tried downgrading using firmware on SamMobile.
Fingers crossed someone will help me :fingers-crossed:
THANKS IN ADVANCE TO YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE ON XDA

try following this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1917570
which will bring you back to stock 2.3.6 and then re-root following K0nane's thread precisely.
If you can get a root kernel and CWM, you'll be golden.
Nice write-up
It's curious though, as I never had an issue just ODINing the cwm recovery from here and being good to go - regardless of being on GB or ICS. That being said - more than one way to skin a cat and all that

LOL well that's no good! Well, like I said - a number of ways to reach that ultimate goal. My comment was more based on the fact that I am genuinely curious as to the variability in outcome seen with things like this (it happens across devices even). Really the important thing is attaining that goal - so kudos to you for the nice write-up on another method of getting there Now you just need to grab some tweezers and remove the evidence of a struggle lol
Nice! I've always just ODIN'd back to GB, I've always been curious on how to root ICS
Hi I want to unlock my t mobill samsung sgh t 769
could you Help me ?
Hello everyone.
First of all, the questions I have :
Where can I find Galaxy Tab 2 P3100 stock rom file for ODIN?
Which recovery should be used with it?
Boxes I should tick when installing it?
Problem I'm facing :
Tab kept booting over and over and it shows start screen, so I decided to install a custom ROM.
check SlimROM forums and downloaded the 6.0.5.1 recovery and the Slim-p3100-4.4.4.build.9.1-UNOFFICIAL-20150205-2140 ROM
Flashed Recovery via ODIN, then when I tried Wipe Data/Factory Reset, tab just kept restarting as if I never tried Wiping anything.
Read all of the posts on : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/help/soft-bricked-tab-gt-p3100-t3016879
Conclusion : Before I decide whether the device is bai-bai, I should flash a Stock ROM with Pit files and re-parti (I think)
Problem : Can't find the Stock ROM file and Pit file for days now..only ones I found are outdated and links dead.
(some info on which boxes to check in ODIN and ODIN version would be helpful too, noob over here)
Tab used to run ICS.
Please help!
Thanks in advance!
Have you checked sammobile?
Only place to find it will be Samobile, tab has no active development and is ancient with "end of life " issues.
Go to Samobile find firmware, click download, go fishing and come home 12 hrs later and maybe it will be downloaded completely.
If you're lucky flash with Odin and if it works leave it alone.

Nothing worked

So I found the PIT file and the stock ROM tar file (Thanks for the tip by the way) and it still didn't work.
It's as if I hadn't done a thing in the first place!!
Stock ROM same as it is, nothing changed AT ALL..all that happened after is that Custom Recovery was removed.
So I entered Normal Recovery and Factory Reset, on doing so, it reset the Stock ROM. I rooted the tab this time and still haven't done anything else.
Tab started rebooting on its own again and soon wont stop rebooting.
All I found on the forums was that the only solution is the Stock Tar + PIT file, but that didn't have any effect at all..
Anyone could tell me how to proceed to install a custom ROM just to get rid of this faulty damn Stock one?
Thanks in advance!
Your help is really appreciated!!
Maybe you need tar.md5 file of a custom rom
Your best bet is to read through this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3016879 you may find something to guide you.

I was able to rescue mine with heimdall and the heimdall frontend.
So I just revived a replacement phone the other day, it came preloaded with 6.0.1. I wanted to root and flash a rom so I ended up finding a guild online and started to follow it. It had me flash a file via odin and after it would just stick on the tmobile logo with the blue led on. So I looked around and found another recovery file and tried that, now it gets stuck on the first screen with a warning that its not sandroid enforcing or something.
I am having a heck of a hard time finding the files to restore everything back to 6.0.1 so I can have another go but can't seem to find the files I need. I think I need 2 files, one for the boot part and one for the rom?
Please help or i'll be forced to use an iPhone!

Flash stock firmware from sammobile.com. download most current, extract, place phone in download mode, have a GOOD USB cable, add file to AP section of Odin, and flash. Once you get fixed then I'll help you root or whatever you're trying to do. If you have any issues returning to stock, please copy Odin logs so I can see where Odin failed.
So i'm really annoyed by 7.0 on my S6 and would like to go back to 6.0.1 um and i tried like a lot and i don't know how to go back for some stupid reason can someone help, bellow are pics of my "stuff"
Just go to sammobile, download the firmware for your device, flash said firmware through ODIN. Done.

Are there any rules when choosing firmware ? I don't wait for a week to download wrong one Also when i tried fleshing some they either flash but no visible changes like nothing is deleted and stuff,or i get some error...
First, this is not the subforum to post these kind of questions...
Second, try here: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s6/SM-G920F/ (Your product name says SM-G920F) and download any firmware that you complies with your country/provider. The downloads are throttled as a normal (free) user, but it should not take more than 2-3 hours downloading. Flash with ODIN. Profit.
Do i put file i download in the AP part of odin, and sorry for posting in wrong place xD.
Yeah, depends on the version of Odin you have, but you can follow this tutorial (or any similar) and you should be ready to go
