Guys, Here's a good news. You can now spend 1-3 minutes by following the steps below to "unlock" the Dual Window function.
Dual Window Mod
-all apps can be used with dual window, including system apps and 3rd party apps
Preparations
1. Root the device
2. Install Root Explorer(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer)
**If you're having trouble rooting the device, you may follow the instructions in the videos

Instructions
1. Open Root Explorer
2. head to" /system"
3. change file system to "R/W"
4. open "build.prop" with Text Editor
5. edit "persist.splitwindow.support_all=false" this line from "false" to "true"
*this line can be found somewhere near the bottom or middle-to-bottom
6. save and exit
7. now quit Root Explorer and reboot the device
8 CONGRATZ, YOU NOW HAVE YOUR DUAL WINDOW MODDED
HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THIS MOD

Just use Sj's recovery tool using the backup system.img you have. I think some stock ones are also present as well.

This happened to me on my H950 after trying to apply this mod on 11z and now I'm stuck in bootloop without any way to flash stock image... Did you ever figure a way to fix this?
I die not figure it out. Had to replace. Fortunately had insurance so dis not cost anything because they couldn't rigure out what happened and i didn't divulge.
It working fine in H950PR 5.1.1 v15A

If you dont want to lose data and etc and just want unroot then go to SUPERSU and then go to settings and scroll to the bottom and do Full Unroot.

Hi ,
I did root my XT1032 and all apps were crashing hence i wanted to unroot . I did unroot through SuperSU . First it hung for a long time then after few tries it succeeded. Now after unroot too all the apps keeps crashing. Can someone help me to fix this ?
Simply rooting a phone should not cause apps to crash. I think it may be another app or another modification that is causing the problems.
What else did you do to the phone before it started crashing?

Exactly ! I installed Font Changer and applied Walt Disney font. There was no effect though but yes , the crash started happening only after that. I did uninstall the app again but no luck.
Stock Firmware ?
Just followed CF-AutoRoot and never flashed ROM's.

The firmware was Kitkat 4.4.4 when it was shipped and later updated to Lollipop 5.0.1 .
Thanks to Korean user and XDA user Unjustified Dev, we now have root for LG G Flex 2!

Root works
Just rooted my LG G Flex 2 (LG-H955) using this method, worked perfectly. This phone is unable to have the battery removed so hold "Vol+, Power and Vol-" (simultaneously) to reboot the device when in Download Mode.

once u rooted, SuperSU will disable OTA update for the firmwares.. and u need to manually to do it as well

Great guide. I saw able to follow up to the last step when I was not getting the inflating messages. It looks like the attachment. Was there anything with the syntax that I messed up with this command? Is there an additional command I can run to get the inflating commands to come up?

Do not try it even if tot or kdz is available for that..
H950 has qfuse set and anything that is qfuse<1 ie 0 will hard brick the device..
I just hope that there will be some exploit that can give us custom recovery and kernel someday..
However kernel hijacking is a possibility but devs with enough knowledge arent interested in this device ...
Also MM may not have root simply also due to dm_verity in kernel..
For us h950 users outside USA there may never be a MM either...
I was wondering if we all take it to twitter to demand a solution for custom kernel bombing their twitter we may get a good response
We can even say our devices heat up so much that it reaches temp of 60-70+ so we need to modify vdd freely for all g flex 2...
They may acknowledge the sd810 problem and send a method to unlock all variants..

i dont know if it works, i see in another thread someone asking for flash h955 over f510l and the only thing they say is the modem driver maybe dont work, you will dont have network connection...but maybe the rom works.
Now we only need a rooted image.

Yes that is applicable.. But don't downgrade att 5.1.1 to 5.0.1
Downgrade for att 5.1.1 is not possible whatsoever

I've recently got an LG G5. I used to have the LG G2. Having said that, I dropped my G2 and the screen was damaged. T Mobile sent the LG G5 as a replacement.
I would like to root my LG G5. I just lack the know how on how to do it with Android Nougat 7.0

Would love root option for 7.0 since I need to get Titanium backup on it to recover some data. It seems it's not so easy to root G5 in general, all versions. G4 and below were so easy.

Make sure you read the threads to downgrade to 20A first if you're on anything later than that before you can actually follow those guides to root and get TWRP.
How do you know if you have 20A or 20C? I appreciate the links to help root my g5. I've attached my About phone info if that would help.

You're on 20f. It's the last three characters of the software version.

How a lot of phones are getting nowadays. But just downgrade to 20A and root from there by following those guides.

If it says invalid kdz file check that md5 of downloaded kdz is same as what is posted on the thread with the kdz, if not re-download it. Otherwise try using uppercut to flash it (search main g5 XDA fourm for uppercut thread).
