Help with Natpc x210 also known as Kingpad Flytouch 9

Hi There
I'm fairly new to this android stuff but starting to get my head round some of it, I have a Natpc x210 also known as Kingpad Flytouch 9 I have managed to root it but now there are some things I would like to do
First I would like to back up my original firmware and from what I have read I need to use clockwork but I get an error message when I try and install this saying it isn't compatible with my tablet so does anyone know how I can do a backup of my original firmware (rom).
I would also like to edit the build prop to try and cure the incompatibility of some of the game on Google market, would it be possible for someone to tell me what exactly to edit in the build prop, I have heard of people putting there tablets into a loop and almost bricking them so I want to be sure what I'm doing.
And I would also like to know if there are any custom Roms I could try on this tablet.

Hi fermec i don't have any answers for you but wondering if you cold help me i have the same device as you and am trying to root it. Could you post the method you used.,especaly how to get usb driver, thanks

I came across this post for rooting Rockchip 3066 tablets.
How to Root Teclast A10 Dual-core
The tool is all in Chinese but you don't need to read whats happening anyway. The tablet reboots itself twice. After the first reboot I had to hard reset.
These are the steps.
Install app on Windows (7Pro x64)
turn developer mode on device (Sumvision Cyclone Titan 9.7", Rockchip 3066, Mali400, Android 4.0.4)
plug the device in and wait for the tool to recognize it
click the button next to the only english word on the app 'ROOT'
wait a minute or two and the device reboots
i had to hard reset here
turn on device again
after a minute the tablet rebooted
walla, Rooted rockchip 3066 device.

I have managed to root my tablet (natpc x210) using this method but this is the way had to do it, to get my laptop win xp 32bit to see the tablet i had to install ADB Driver this is a setup file then I attached the laptop put the tablet in usb debug mode, then I started the software and it automatically sees the tablet, then just click root wait for it to finish and that is it rooted,
Worked a treat for me

Thanks for reply and links, did all of that wasn't sure about ABD thing so i used morobo ,now my tablet says it's rooted according to a few apps that check for root but the apps i want eg titanium rb sync wont install any thoughts ?. Thanks again for your help

Maybe you need to install busybox to make them run properly?

use update 1 ,and install supersu.

How to root it:
- Connect the phone to you computer with the original USB Data Cable
- Enable USB Debugging from Settings (Close all opened programs before doing this)
- Extract and Open the superoneclick attached on this thread
- Click on Root
- Then it will appear 3 windows. Click yes on the first and second one and no on the last.
And that's it!You have your phone Rooted.
PS: If you can't root it with SuperOneClick try with the MTKDroid Tools.

ROOT
Rooting the device is fairly Easy 3 Step Process. It is based on the MOTOCHOPPER Utility.
1. Download Motochopper by clicking here
2. Enable USB Debugging in Settings - > Developer
3. run "run.bat" in the archive and follow on Screen Instruction (Press Enter when asked)
UnRoot
UnRooting is required if you are taking phone to service center or for any other reason. Its more simpler then rooting.
1. Goto SuperUser -> Setings -> Full Unroot
2. No Second Step. You are UN-Rooted...

The handset even with the stock is MORE THEN SUFFICIENT you can expect in upto 20k phone.
The vitals are better then Samsung Grand
Battery is most awesome
All Games go in super swift and cool
GPS is best then any of 6 MTK phones I have used, Locks in 3-7 Seconds in major roads (even in balcony with one side open)
Navigation works too cool.
Camera is awesome in sunlight
Try MapMyIndia Sygic for offline navigation which is super simple...
COULD NOT find 1 issue in it.... Best handset for upto 21-25 k range....
10/10 for this lovely phone

*ADB drivers or the PDAnet application

*it will ask to connect your phone with "USB Debugging mode" enabled or checked via Settings > Developer Option.

connect your phone and wait for app to detect your phone and then just click on the "Next" button on the bottom right corner of the app.

watch your phone carefully and wait for the "green" progress bar to fill up, usually on 27% you will notice on your phone that Root Genius is working/doing the rooting it will flash at least twice.

when you see the "Congratulation your phone is successfully rooted!" on your computer screen that's it!

verifying root;
*disconnect your phone from PC and reboot the phone.
*look for the Kinguser app on your phone.
*use Root checker app found on the playstore.
*use any app that requires root access.

I missed your post... yup it is, nothing went wrong to my O+ 8.52 After i rooted it and changing the superuser app.
