Help with Natpc x210 also known as Kingpad Flytouch 9 - General Questions and Answers

Hi There
I'm fairly new to this android stuff but starting to get my head round some of it, I have a Natpc x210 also known as Kingpad Flytouch 9 I have managed to root it but now there are some things I would like to do
First I would like to back up my original firmware and from what I have read I need to use clockwork but I get an error message when I try and install this saying it isn't compatible with my tablet so does anyone know how I can do a backup of my original firmware (rom).
I would also like to edit the build prop to try and cure the incompatibility of some of the game on Google market, would it be possible for someone to tell me what exactly to edit in the build prop, I have heard of people putting there tablets into a loop and almost bricking them so I want to be sure what I'm doing.
And I would also like to know if there are any custom Roms I could try on this tablet.
Below is the spec

Hi fermec i don't have any answers for you but wondering if you cold help me i have the same device as you and am trying to root it. Could you post the method you used.,especaly how to get usb driver, thanks

I came across this post for rooting Rockchip 3066 tablets.
How to Root Teclast A10 Dual-core
The tool is all in Chinese but you don't need to read whats happening anyway. The tablet reboots itself twice. After the first reboot I had to hard reset.
These are the steps.
Install app on Windows (7Pro x64)
turn developer mode on device (Sumvision Cyclone Titan 9.7", Rockchip 3066, Mali400, Android 4.0.4)
plug the device in and wait for the tool to recognize it
click the button next to the only english word on the app 'ROOT'
wait a minute or two and the device reboots
i had to hard reset here
turn on device again
after a minute the tablet rebooted
walla, Rooted rockchip 3066 device.

I have managed to root my tablet (natpc x210) using this method but this is the way had to do it, to get my laptop win xp 32bit to see the tablet i had to install ADB Driver this is a setup file then I attached the laptop put the tablet in usb debug mode, then I started the software and it automatically sees the tablet, then just click root wait for it to finish and that is it rooted,
Worked a treat for me
Fermec

Thanks for reply and links, did all of that wasn't sure about ABD thing so i used morobo ,now my tablet says it's rooted according to a few apps that check for root but the apps i want eg titanium rb sync wont install any thoughts ?. Thanks again for your help

USB TABLET DRIVER'S GT-7104:
REMEMBERING THAT THE DRIVER TO INSTALL USB RK29, has to be manually.
- But among other problems to be solved, I will still continue their studies here:
1 - To put into order FAST MODE:
- Unplug the appliance, or if you prefer ........... click RESET push the button and the + or button with the arrow ->''right''
Now the device and detected by the pc or is being FAST MODE .... so do not be surprised how FAST MODE''black screen''..
and normal to the model ¬ ° aff ...
- When trying to connect the tablet again .. he will be brik .... NOT SCARE hold the''small''RESET for 3 seconds and release, then hold the''POWER'', he returns to life!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
however, I'm behind the solution ... for my tablet .. GT -7104 q may be occurring?!
1 - I was missing the driver can be compatible but not the correct USB driver, I could be wrong ¬¬....
But first comes the tablet mode FAST MODE''black screen''.. how do I know if he is in fast mode''so''?
pressing the ESC key''or''''+''or''home''.
him and recognized by the computer as a device''device rk29''... if I'm wrong correct me please!
2 - Testing the program FWDN, well this program does not detect the tablet ... wanted to use it a lot ...
3 - Testing RKtools the program, the program seems to recognize the tablet, but the program seems to be having problems routing the firmware it says FIRMWARE FAILURE .....'' got lucky huh .....
4 - Testing the ROM Device Manager, but not tested it without the root of the tablet with Android is that 2.3.1 has no root I think ....

[Q] flash MTK6575

Hello every one i have an issue here, i got a chinese device a samsung galaxy s(it says its an S4 but i think it is an S3)its a 1Ghz dual core processor if im not wrong(firmware use to say MT6575_S01)
it had loaded apparently a wrong rom, the device wasnt loading OS and restore wasnt working, i tryed to flash a new rom with Android Flash Tools, and the device got bricked, i am able to connected to the computer, the device does not turn on, does not charge, but the PC is able to detected as a MTK USB Port Com.
i found that trying to load different rom with the same tool was not possible cause it gives me an error just before start downloading the info(this is because the device lost connection on the device manager) so it doesnt charge anything.
as i already mention i am able to install drivers, but all of them goes like a Com Port, i used USBDeview and i am able to see the old MTK65xx usb drivers but the direction for that port its not valid(at least it does not recognize the device as a USB directly)
i was wondering if any one can help me with this, i need to know if there is any way to prevent windows from disconecting this device or if there is any way to make the device go on away, if i can do that i am sure i can load the image to it.
BTW i tryed a few roms and some of them tell me they cant complete the process cause not enough space, cause it looks like they are for another device.
my system and device specs (device as far as i can get)
device :
CPU MTK6575
Model: M-9162 cnc moviles (could not find any website related to them)
as far as i know the processor is a 1.2 Ghz dual core
512 RAM
dual SIM
8 MP cam (back)
as far as i know it could be 2MP or 1.3 MP on front
Front camera and sensors are located on the left side(not on the rigth side like most of galaxy S· and S$ even clones)
use battery
model : 303
li-ion 2200mAh(it says samsung)
PC SPECS :
Windows 7 64 bits OS
dual core 2.4Ghx processor
4G on ram.
Please help me with this and i will love you all forever
PD : i belive that the model is a replica of I9200 but not sure .

[Q] Lenco Cooltab-72 Made in China Tablet - Firmware ?

Hello !
It's my first message on this forum... I don't write verry good in English... sorry
First, thank you to read my post
Where can I find a firmware (.img) for (compatible with) my device Lenco Cooltab-72 version 1.2 ?
The official Lenco support won't give me the original...
If someone have this device, it will be verry friendly to dump the stock room and upload it...
It's easy to dump the stock rom ! The files are direct nammed e.g. "system" in /dev/block/...
I have already system.img and boot.img but I haven't others...
But for flash it, I ask to a developper to help me...
With verry good luck, I succeded to flash a time with PhoenixSuit (bcs my tablet work on Allwinner A20 processor). The flash was a success but the screen of my tablet is white (sometimes grey or blue or black... view on afterflash.jpg)... The tablet boot on recovery and adb detect it but <adb shell> don't work... When I put "adb reboot bootloader", the tablet reboot normaly (no bootloader) and usb debugging is not active... I will test to buy a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable to connect my tablet to a external screen, is it a good idea ?
I tested to make a bootable sd card for allwinner tablets... but when I instert this one in the tablet, it don't boot

Try NeedROM.
You have to get an exact match between the firmware and your hardware, and that site is generally very good for that.
Thank you Belamigo, but there isn't my tablet on this website

Now, adb work ! all is working well except the screen I see the same like the other...

RCA 7 Voyager RCT6773W22 tablet.
Quad Core, 8GB internal storage, Android 4.4.2, one of those Walmart pre-Black Friday specials someone picked up.
Can't say anyone would actually want to replace their Google Nexus or Samsung with one of these, but it would be nice to have this rooted.
Anyone rooted one yet?
Thanks.

I was wondering this myself. I was thinking about picking one up for how cheap it is, still undecided right now.
I just picked up 3 of these for my kids the other day. still waiting for them to ship. was also hoping to be able to root these.
Well I ended up buying one of them. I was searching around Google and found some people had rooted the previous model of our device by using Kingo root. I imagine from Google that this is kingoapp.com but I won't be able to test it probably for at least a week, hopefully less. A video on YouTube shows the same results as well.
i just picked on up for 30 dollars at wallmart black friday im gonna try to root it right now
Following, interested to see if a root gets put in play. Thirty bucks until I get my Note 4 in a few weeks, beats the heck out of my Fire HD!
I hope we get a root method soon I think because these will be popular for black Friday they might g get it rooted
Sent from my RCT6773W22 using XDA Free mobile app
Kingo did not work
Installed Kingo and it would not recognize the device, enabled dev mode and turned on USB debugging still did not work. Let me know if any other solution works.

same here
came here for root haha
Kingo app worked fine
Had to manually install adb driver.
Download/unzip the latest android usb drivers from google then add:
;RCA Tablet
%SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0414&PID_0C02&REV_0216&MI_01
%SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0414&PID_0C02&MI_01
after the [Google.NTx86] and [Google.NTamd64] in android_winusb.inf file
Open device manager and point it to that folder and it will give you some snag about unsigned something or other, just say go ahead. Kingoapp recognized it and rooted it in about 2 minutes after a reboot.
ill see what i can do with that
EDIT: IT WORKS!! Thanks dude
Update to Kingo Root
Kingo with their developer mode ADB drivers did Root.
---------- Post added at 03:34 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:24 AM ----------
If I get a few min I will write a install guide but bottom line
Download Kingo Android Root from kingoapp.com
Install Kingo
But RCA table in Developer mode :
Go to Settings > About Tablet
Tap Build Number 7 times quickly
Click Settings > Developer Options
Enable developer options in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Plug device into USB cable and attach to computer
If you previously connected the device not in dev mode it installed drivers automatically.
It will now indicated that drivers need to be installed, allow automatic install of new drivers
Start Kingo and follow prompts.
That is it.

So all this is on the current update there's no newer update for it??
Confirmed rooted with kingo root. I used PDAnet for drivers.
Picked up one of these for my three year old. Going to give this a try this weekend. Thanks for the info guys.
i just rooted the rca 7 voyager!
1. Download pdanet app from the playstore
2. Download the pdanet file for windows and install it on your pc. plug in your device via usb to make connection.
3. allow it to update android drivers.( this is what you need for KingoRoot to recognize the rca 7 voyager) unplug your device after it connected to the pc.
4. exit the pdanet service running on your pc (in the lower right corner)
5. download KingoRoot onto your pc and run application.
6. plug your rca 7 voyager into the usb and kingoroot will connect a couple times and click finish once you obtain root.
7. go to the play store and update supersu! buy the pro version!
8. you are now rooted!
I was having trouble rooting with Kingo so I used this.
http://www.mgyun.com/en/getvroot
It installed a bunch of chinese apps but I removed them and then installed SuperSU from the Play Store.
Also, any idea if we can install recovery yet? Any kernels for overclocking? Am I being too hopeful? Haha. Great little tablet regardless.
After rooting I started using Xposed framework with Gravity Box and is working great to make it more pleasing.

I sold my tablet so I can't take any picture.
But you can follow the instructions here.

The firmware version from Baidu is 1.02, but the tablet has 1.03. Is it safe to flash Magisk_patched.img from 1.02 firmware to the 1.03 tablet?

Scatter file you can get in the firmware from the first page. But I'm not sure enough if it can be used in case the firmware versions are different.

It's OK to use the scatter file from firmware v1.02.
Works perfectly. After you have installed the new, patched boot.img - just restart the tablet and then install Magisk Manager apk.
Your device is now rooted
