Here is a step by step with roms included for the 4.5 quattro Not the HD or 5.7 HD maybe soon.
Disclaimer: These ROMs/Recoveries are only intended for the BLU Quattro 4.5, or the K-Touch v9(which is the chinese version) These WILL NOT work on the 4.5HD or 5.7HD devices(I will release ROMs/Recoveries specifically for your device at a later time)
Drivers: https://copy.com/BUMmsS9rhLJe
English Recovery: https://copy.com/XZxTDht2lQiz
Gapps(4.2) https://copy.com/utkbZgwRpsVB
Gapps(4.1) https://copy.com/pSd8SsqU9pdI
ROMs With Less Bugs: MIUI v5 (4.1) https://copy.com/sbmcN6PHwFfi CM/AOKP Hybrid? JB (4.1) https://copy.com/VeLz1VLbkNNI Shendu ROM 4.1(Modified/Tweaked by me) https://copy.com/NwiFnlO8JAek
ROMs With More Bugs: Cyanogenmod 10.1 (4.2) https://copy.com/8kt2EAU2ll8y
1- Download the drivers from link posted above, and extract it to the folder of your desire. Now turn the phone off, and hold Vol+ (volume up button) and Power button at the same time until you see a green screen, then release both buttons immediately. You should now be in APX mode(nvflash) it will be a black screen
2- Connect phone to computer via usb cable. Now you should get a pop-up window about installing drivers, you're going to want to choose to browse computer for driver software manually. Then choose let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, and click have disk. Now you're going to browse to the location where you extracted the drivers to, and click on it(Ignore warning if it pops up, and choose install)
3- Assuming everything went as planned, now download the recovery and extract it to the location you desire(must be in a directory that you can issue adb commands from) inside of that folder, locate a file named recovery.bat. Double click on that file and a command prompt with a bunch of chinese pops up. Give it a second and press enter, it will go through the process and flash a recovery onto your phone
4- After everything is done, hold down the power button for about ten seconds(until the device powers off) Power the device back on normally, and download the ROM/ROMs if you haven't already and place them on the internal or external sd card(your choice) With device connected to pc, open command prompt and type in "adb reboot recovery" (without quotes) and the device will boot into recovery mode
5- Now that we have an English recovery, the translations below aren't really needed. However, I'm going to leave them up for a few days, just until everybody can transition to the English recovery. They will be deleted after that!
Recovery Main Menu: -Reboot -Install from SD card -Wipe Data/Factory Reset -Wipe Cache -Backup&Restore -Mount/Format -Advanced
Install From SD Card Menu: -Install zip from external SD -Apply update.zip -Unknown* -Install zip from internal SD
Backup&Restore Menu: -Backup -Restore -The rest are unknown*
Advanced Menu: -Reboot Recovery -Wipe Dalvik Cache -The rest are unknown*
To install ROM- In recovery mode, Factory Reset/Wipe Cache/Wipe Dalvik Cache. Then choose install zip from sd card(then choose internal or external and locate the ROM you want to install) After that you need to do the same thing to install the gapps package(you need the gapps package for google apps to function) once all is done, reboot and wait(it takes a while to boot the first time after flashing new ROMs, it has to rebuild the Dalvik cache)
NOTE: In case you aren't familiar with flashing ROMs, once you click on something( "backup" for example) a menu pops up pretty much asing you if you're sure you want to do that. It will have a bunch of lines of the same thing(which is no) and then one of the lines will have a bunch of writing beside it(which means yes). Also BEFORE you flash any ROMs, make sure you factory reset/wipe cache/and wipe dalvik cache, then you can flash the ROM and gapps package
*These will be updated regularly, as I discover what they are **More ROMs to come!
Internal Memory
The "BLU Quattro 4.5" has 4GB internal memory partitioned into 0.98GB for ROM and apps and an internal usb-memory of 1.63GB.
Is it possible to merge or resize the partitions?
I have 16GB external SD so the 1.63GB internal reserved usb-memory is useless and I still having trouble out of space in primary partition.
Thanks and sorry my english =/

Please help me root, i try binary method but i just get boot loop.
Recovery + Root My experience
Hello... I got my BLU Quattro 4.5 (D440) a while back, didn't fuzz with it much right off. The Stock ROM was sluggish at best thought there was even an issue with the Digitizer/screen. But this thread was extremely helpful. I am now running Shendu ROM 4.1.2 one of the suggested ROM's above. I tried the other 2 first and they were mostly in Chineese and I had an especially hard time getting them switched over to English. Either way onward to the point. I have put together a few helpful tips-tricks for my experience with this phone and its phoenix transition to an awesome handset. Thats right now this is my daily driver and I love it! See below hope its helpful.
BLU Quattro 4.5 (440D) GSM Recovery+Root
These steps for this phone only!! Not responsible for any issues.
1. download ROM's, Recovery, & Driver from XDA (this thread)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327417
2. Enable USB Debugging! Go into Apps-Settings-DevOptions - Check box for USB Debug
3. Have original USB cord if handy! I tried with a Samsung OEM cable but no luck getting drivers to stick. Use original is best. (If you have one.)
Plug in USB Cord to PC then Phone and see if windows detects drivers. let it. It wont get the ones u need later, but what it does find is for USB storage. (you can move over your ROM's/Gapps to storage, downloads folder is a good spot).
4. Go to... http://junefabrics.com/android/downloadold.php to get pdanet software. Install it and it will give i the right drivers for ADB support. I used 4.01 to match the android version currently on my phone.
5. Extract the Driver provided from XDA. Put it in a folder with the ADB commands. Or you can get it all here... http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyNexus/rooting/GalaxyNexusRootNew.zipn <-- I know this isn't for BLU but, if you extract this to a folder, and also add the drivers extracted to it as well this works! I've done it.
6. Extract the English Recovery to the same folder.
7. Turn off your phone. Hold down Vol up and Power button for about 5-9 seconds. Once you see a green screen let go of both. Screen may flicker then go black but the icons at the bottom will stay lit. You are now in APX mode (nvflash) mode. (as stated above in original post)
8. Check your Win 7 PC device manager. For a Phone device with ADB. If you you may need to update driver with the one that came from XDA, but the PDANet software should make it work.
8. Go to the folder and find Recovery.bat file (may have Chinese in file name. Double click and a command prompt window will pop up with a bunch of unknown characters, wait 5 sec then hit enter. The batch file should take of pushing the necessary recovery through ADB to the phone. It will error if it can't.
9. If completes OK. Push power for 7-9 seconds to power off the phone. Hit power like normal to turn it back on. It will boot up like normal (or it should).
10. USB is still connected this whole time and you can open a command prompt window. Navigate to the folder you placed the Recovery into. Something like user/username/desktop/BLU/recovery..etc)
Type ADB devices....it should show you that is is connected to your device. Then type " adb reboot recovery " and the device should reboot, give it some time.
11. Once in recovery. Best to do a backup of the original ROM & system. that way you can get back into recovery if anything goes wrong and wipe out the problem by restoring and starting again.
After you backup === you can get into recovery without the command being typed in or even being connected to your PC.... By holding Vol up + Power till you see the green screen then let go of power but keep holding Vol up till you see the BLU Products boot screen then let go ===
Clockworkmod Recovery should be on your screen.
you can reboot phone now and get back to original with no changes. Or you can venture into the world of loading ROM's (There in your downloads folder if you saved them in Step 3)
ROM 101
BACKUP-BACKUP-BACKUP 1st thing once in Recovery ...can't stress enough how much of trouble you can keep yourself out of by keeping an original backup.
As I stated before the Shendu ROM + Gapps is running smooth and all features I've been trying are working flawlessly!! Thanks to original post for getting me going. Just thought I'd add my 2 Cents.
Ok, here are the BEST 2 ROMS for this Phone:
Android 4.0.4(close to vanilla) : MEGA
Cyanogenmod 10.2 (Android 4.3.1) : (some audio and video issues, in BETA version ) MEGA
Need to merge internal partitions ? (merge memories) this one really "resize" the partitions (first one 1,7GB, another one new size is 2Mb) the flash.cfg file you need to flash:
This phone dont have notificaion led, fixed with this app: MEGA (flash the botton menu buttons)

Anyone tried the K-touch V9 kit kat in the BLU??

Yes, those roms (v5) are very slow. Just use the 4.0.4 stock.
I want to try the JB stock, but i can´t find the official one anywhere.
Blu quattro 4.5 official rom to download, after you delete the bloatware and put a nice and clean theme you´ll get a nice speed.
orig D440 (quattro 4.5) rom
You can find the rom on google plus under BLU Products Development search for the model!
Hope that helps. I took your advice tonight and I am back running old school. Works ok husfar

What worked for me - i had bricked my phone, did a full wipe without any backup
Basically had to "push" through ADB and get a grip on the device.
1. ADB operations - my phone was recognized as an android device connected to the USB but didn't appear under adb devices
2. I followed some operations to basically start recognizing it as my Lenovo A6000
The advice I got was from "Unbrick lenovo a6000 plus (also lenovo a6000 )" by tink2hakk (a lot of thanks to him)
"most of the people facing the problem : (Bricked lenovo a6000/plus )
Device not showing in adb i'm i right ?
if yes follow the following things:
1) install minimal adb and fastboot
2) install lenovo driver
3)install lenovo smart assistent
Now connect your phone to pc/laptop and pen minimal adb (py_cmd ) as administrator
now enter the following command :
adb shell
(now your device will not be listed )
Now enter the following command :

Hi,
The new flagship from Wiko, the Wiko Fever, it's a great device. :good:
Here my research with it:
- MT6753 with 16GB ROM and 3G RAM
- Bootloader LOCKED (you can unlock it using one option in the developers hidden menu (you know how to enable it!) and then after reboot in the bootloader execute "fastboot oem unlock" (note, that selecting OK you will erase your data!).
:good:
- You can download an EXPERIMENTAL (=ALPHA) custom Recovery (CWM-Carliv) from here (you need to flash it to use it):
***removed***
- Also you can download the original DUMP of the boot.img and recovery.img from here:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/zy9q6g
:silly:
You can pack/unpack the recovery/boot using the CarlivImageKitchen selecting "normal" (not MTK) version!
..
Hi,
This device (Wiko Fever) is the same as Micromax Canvas 5 E481:
http://www.micromaxinfo.com/mobiles/smartphones/canvas/canvas-5-e481
Also, is identical to Blue Life ONE X:
http://www.bluproducts.com/index.php/life-one-x-2016
Follow the thread (with custom Kernels) at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/device-reviews-and-information/blu-life-one-x-2016-t3287428
Then the same firmware and rooting procedure will be shareable between both!
Here a great guide for Wiko Fever & Clones:

Hi,
Here the scatter file for Wiko Fever Lollipop 5.1.
Two versions: a) extracted from stock update (scatter_stok); b) made by hand (scatter3).
Rooting GUIDE
Hi,
Good news: Rooting is done! :victory:
Here is the guide for rooting your Wiko Fever:
Warning (for newbies): First copy all indicated files to your SD card using your phone in normal state. Or use a PC and a SD reader for copy them when indicated.
1) Unlock bootloader:
1.1) Boot for first time your device. I recommend to NOT register/login/add Wifi/add accounts/etc., because the unlock process DELETES all your data in the device. So to go more fast, skip all, and go directly to SETTINGS. In section ABOUT DEVICE, enable the developer options with eight time picks over “Build number”. Then in SETTINGS/DEVELOPER OPTIONS, enable the option “OEM unlocking”. Then power off.
1.2) Power on the device in the BOOTLOADER mode (using ADB: "adb reboot-bootloader"). Execute in your computer the command “fastboot oem unlock”, say YES with “vol+” and “power” buttons. Then select reboot. This ERASES completely your device (factory restore), but the bootloader will be UNLOCKED! Two reboots needed.
2) Install custom Recovery:
2.1) Download from here the BETA 1 of CWM BETA 2 of CWM BETA 3 of CWM: http://www.sendspace.com/file/4g87bj
OR Download TWRP Beta 1 for Lollipop 5.1 from Hanuma: http://www.sendspace.com/file/y4jel8
(Original post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64543542&postcount=45)
OR Download TWRP 3.0.2.0 for Marshmallow from Hanuma: https://www.sendspace.com/file/9ms9zz
(Original post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67531723&postcount=217)
2.2) Boot in the BOOTLOADER mode (using ADB: "adb reboot-bootloader"). Then execute command “fastboot flash recovery recovery-custom-wiko-fever.img”; and then “fastboot reboot”.
3) Rooting:
3.1) Copy last beta of SuperSU v2.52 to your SD Card (file BETA-SuperSU-v2.52.zip).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133
3.2) Boot in the CWM with “Vol+” and “Power” buttons.
3.3) Install ZIP from external-sd card.
3.4) Reboot and don’t select “fix root”, only “Yes”.
3.5) After boot, start SuperSU and configure it. Root done!
4) Xposed install:
4.1) Copy last release of Xposed Installer to your SD Card. Use files from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
* xposed-v78-sdk22-arm64.zip
* XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
* xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm64.zip (in case of errors).
4.2) Boot in the Recovery, and install the framework (file xposed-v78-sdk22-arm64.zip).
4.3) After reboot, install the Xposed APK (file XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk).
4.4) Reboot. The Xposed framework is running.
Enjoy!
Notes: Before starting to root your device I recommend to do a full DUMP of the firmware using the SP Flash Tool. Use my handmade scatter file.
Thank you to all developers & supporters! :highfive:
ChangeLog:
- Beta 3: Fixed ADB shell with root uid.
- Beta 2: Fixed SELinux context support in ext4 filesystem. Full woking for rooting!
Note: If you like to use adb shell in recovery but an error like "exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory" then first mount /system partition.
- Beta 1: Don't use this version, has a bug with SELinux contexts!
- Alpha(1,2,3): Pre-releases.

Hi,
God news! I de-bricked my device... ****ing erroneous selinux context attributes in /system/lib64/ and /system/bin/ are the reason!
So, I don't futher need the stock SYSTEM partition. I'll continue with the rooting process... soon I'll publish it.

I hope!
Maybe will be easy for some developer to port one CM13 firmware for MT6753 to this device.
The opensource package for this device isn't at time available. Sorry!

I just followed these steps to unlock the bootloader and I think everything worked as expected. Anyway, is there a way to be 100% sure that the bootloader is unlocked before (and without) flashing the recovery?
Thanks again!
hi guys, i followed the guide and all worked also with the last update

After the command "fastboot oem unlock" If you see the Warning message and the device is rebooted and formating the data partition, then you have for sure unlocked the bootloader.
But if you like to check it: "fastboot getvar all"; then find for the status of bootloader.
Thank you manos78!!
The only way of rooting is unlock bl->cwm->flash superSU? or is it possible to flash just a prerooted system.img keeping bootloader locked?
Also, have you noticed that sdcard0 become sdcard1 when inserting a sd card (wich replaces sdcard0) ? is there a way to avoid that? Choosing "internal memory" as default storage didn't avoid apps writing their datas on the slower SD :/

Hi,
I try to boot the custom recovery image with fastboot without flash and it fails. So for rooting, at time, the only way is: unlock->flash custom recovery->install superSU. But after that, you can try to: flash stock recovery->re-lock, if you like (not tested by me! Be carefull!). However, with the custom recovery you can do full backups, so I recomend it. The side effect is that you can't upgrade with OTAs.
Another option is use the original stock firmware and readback/flash the SYSTEM partition and modify it using an external computer (modify the IMG). But, this solution is quite complex.
Finally, related to the SD-CARD. The "internal memory" is only for "media", not for Apps. I use one 64GB SD on my Fever and I store in it: photos, music & ISO/IMG images. Any other data is in the internal storage (emulated sdcard). Also, I "installed" (=moved) some huge games (>100MB) to the sdcard (the real SD); and I store my Google Kiosk and Music files on the sdcard (also the real SD). Please, don't care about the sd storage, is working right on the stock firmware.
:good:
Actually I could inject root files into the system.img can anybody provide it? Do you know if bootloader only accepts images signed by manufacturer? In that case, a modded image can cause a security error. But I don't think it is so complicated on mediatek, given the fact that is possible to flash a custom recovery without any security check using flash tool.
About sd, I don't think I get what you mean by "media". System needs a "sdcard0" for a lot of apps like Sygic and Whatsapp and games like real racing. If sd card replaces it being sdcard0 instead of sdcard1 everything seems screwed to me: these apps are forced to write and read from a very slow memory (even a class 10 is way slower than internal memory)

In stock Fever ROM:
/sdcard --> the REAL SD Card (the Sygic data, Google Music & Kiosk, etc. are in the REAL SD Card)
/storage/sdcard1 --> the EMULATED SD (internal memory)
Then you can use the SD as real one with Apps, and use alternative (emulated) when you like. The "media" Apps can use sdcard0 (real) or sdcard1 (emulated).
Related to this sentence: "hese apps are forced to write and read from a very slow memory (even a class 10 is way slower than internal memory)"
Please, remember: both, external memory and internal memory, have LIMITED life (write operations). Then, what you prefer: write more on the internal and not interchangable memory, or in a removable and inexpensive memory?
Please, think well!
Also, FYI, in my current Wiko Fever I use a 64GB SDXC UHS-II, far away than a simple class 10 (x15 reads/x30 writes).

I'm quite accustomed to filesystems and partitions since I've been using Linux for many years but I've got almost zero experience with Android internals, so please help me to understand if I got this right.
Now that I have unlocked the bootloader I can (potentially) flash "any" .img file on "any" partition (given that I'm using the right file on the right partition), right? So I could dump my system partition, put the su binary inside and then reflash it in fastboot mode?
I'm sorry if my questions might sound dumb to you but I'd like to start tinkering with Android a bit more but having a hard time finding a good starting point.

Hi,
Unlock bootloader is for booting NON-SIGNED kernels (the boot or the recovery), not for partitions.
When you unlock the bootloader you can install (or boot) a CUSTOM recovery. In the custom recovery you can mount and modify the SYSTEM partition (where is included the root).
For "flash" or "dump" the internal memory of the device, if it's using a MTK cpu (like the Fever) then you can use SP FLASH TOOL. You have the scatter file in this thread!
Hello everyone,
I bought the leeco le max 2 via geekbuying last week and got some issues with wifi and mms (among other issues), and i would like to instal an indian stock rom.
I will try to be as clear as possible and give you as much info as i have, but since i don't really master the subject it will be a bit messy i gess.
On the box it is said that the phone is a X822, but when i go in the options, it says it is a X822, so i don't know wich one it is. It has 32g and 4gb of ram (http://www.geekbuying.com/item/LeTV-LeEco-Le-Max-2-X820-4GB-32GB-Smartphone---Rose-Gold-374437.html). It has eUI 5.8.018S installed on it.
I downloaded 2 indian roms the 16s and 19s (https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/how-to/le-max-2-official-stock-firmware-links-t3433761), but what is the difference ? Also i found some recoveries but what is this for ?
Yesterday i installed a stock rom on my redmi note 3 pro via adb (http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html) and it was very easy.
I cannot find such a tutorial for the X820, i could need some help.
I tried to install with this method : https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/help/how-to-stock-rom-recovery-t3419377
1) Download the Indian Le Max 2 ROM from here. Download fastboot and adb and install to your PC from here
2) Keep the firmware zip file in the fastboot, adb folder of your PC. In that folder, press Shift + Right click and click on "Open command window here".
3) Boot into TWRP recovery of your phone. (Power + Vol Up) button together at boot. Perform full wipe so that there is no OS installed.
4) Enter Adb sideload
5) On PC's command prompt window which we opened earlier, enter these commands adb sideload LE_X2_X820-OS-OP-FGXOSOP5801507066S-5.8.015S.zip
6) Wait for stock firmware and recovery to be installed. Takes a long time. You can again factory reset if you want to but I did not need to do it.
7) Phone should be stock now with google app store and least bloat in Indian ROM.
But i get stuck because the adb "cannot read" the zip file. The adb find the device and the X820 go into EDL mode easily.
I also tried this : http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/20/leeco-x820-max-2-super-unbrick-guide/. But it also didn't work. It says "manifest.xml not found in flash".
Then i tried to rename the rom "update.zip", copy it in the phone internal storage and go into recovery (power up + power button) but it doesn't find any file. "failed to uptade!" cause : APK not found.
I don't really know what to do next, i'm a bit lost.
Could you help me installing a official rom so that it fixes my wifi/network/mms issue please ?
Thank you in advance, if you need any other information or have advice i would be really happy
Sweet-death

Well i guess if you follow it step by step there won't be any problem. If you get stuck at some point just comment here. And installing adb is just like the normal installation of any setup files in windows.Regarding the flashing of twrp there is nothing much to do than the steps mentioned above. If you still need a video go for this.https://youtu.be/kmq2Eyzl3wA NOTE:This video makes use of files for the sd410 model,so don't use the files in that video.Get the files from this post. This video can make you familiarize the process, but steps mentioned here is slightly different.

Internal Storage Files Missing
After I flashed TWRP and then entered it, it asked for a password to decrypt my storage. I didnt set any password for my phone so I pressed cancel after which came the TWRP menu. But once I selected the install option so as to flash the supersu file, I was unable to find my zip file in it. When I searched for solution, they said it was because my storage is encryted that I was'nt able to acces the data. They adviced to format data through wipe option in TWRP. But still no use. And to add to the problem, when I tried to reboot into system, I was left with a black screen and couln't get to the homescreen.
Please consider my problem and hoping for your fast reply.

Boot back into twrp home screen - WIPE- FORMAT DATA , after that, also from twrp , REBOOT-RECOVERY, after that, go ahead and flash the root file and then try to boot into home screen.

I guess you have copied the super su file to external sd card.Formatting data as mentioned by jide1 did remove the encryption for me.If it doesn't work do advanced wipe with only the data, cache and dalvik cache boxes checked.Note:don't check any other box. Then reboot into twrp.Go to mount in twrp and see that your external sd is mounted. Now access the external sd card in install option and you will find the files of super su.

Download the official firmware from Asus website and unpack the zip file, and you'll see the boot.img file there.
