Yes it worked, but sometimes the screen don't respond to double tap, may be the device now going into deep-sleep or something to save battery.
So I end up pressing the power button.

Can this fix also be installed on an english ROM?

Is it not necessary for 1.43 rom users ??
The hotfix doesn't work for me
ok, it worked for me... but I think it draines a lot more battery right now?
Can somebody confirm this?
After 6 hours it tooks 8% of the Battery (in idle mode)... no call, screen was off.
Before the patch it was 2-3% of the battery in 6 hours.

I guess, if you have 1.43, that means you dont need to use this hotfix... do you have this problem though?
I have 1.43, and i still have this problem.
After I installed the hotfix my problem was solved.
Problem? When I was not in the home screen and I received a new text message the notification sound sometimes worked.. other times it didnt. When the phone was in the home screen, the notification sound always worked with incomming messages.
Installed this and didn't make a difference
Same here... no difference after the hotfix.
Hi
Try using the Advanced Config program and under power management options change the 'Battery resume frm suspend timeout' to 10 seconds, that should resolve the problem where the SMS sound doesn't play.

Phil

I am currently running Peter's ICS 12/6 nightly with Matrix kernel 16.0. Every now and then my screen won't automatically sleep. I have settings under display to sleep after 15 secs, yet my screen will stay on until I manually shut it off. Is this a bug, or a setting in NStools that I have to adjust? Is anyone else experiencing this?
thanks
hi.
I had that same prob. I just flashed the v.16.5 and, somehow, everything get back to normal, u can try the same or just set all the option in the NStools to default and see if this solves it.
Cheers
if i helped u somehow, hit thanks button pls.

OnePlus One Ghost Touch: http://youtu.be/UTiIrPanaPI
This started yesterday, I did have very minor ghost touches but all at once my phone began to have a major issue. All of the of the back button presses are the phone itself. I cannot use it because it closes every application I open. Any thoughts?
Its a software problem, it has been resolved with the newer touch screen firmware.
Download Franco r18 (or any other kernel who has the newest commits).
That didn't resolve the issue.

Hi,
I just installed Android 5.0 on nexus 5 and I am unable to install any app from unknown sources. What could be the reason? The install button seems to disabled.

Do you use Lux or any sort of screen filtering app? I had this issue where the apps would look like they were installing but I couldn't click the "Install" button, only the "Cancel" button. If I disable Lux (the power button on the notification) I can click the "Install" button. For some reason having screen dimming is really screwing with that and the SuperSU app.

Oh true. I am using Lux. So this is what was causing this weird behaviour. I thought reinstalling helped. But this wasn't happening in 4.4? I think the app needs to be updated.
Hello
Earlier today I had this weird problem. My phone didn't wake up on tapping fingerprint sensor. So I unlocked my phone
Checked the settings.. fingerprint settings were there but I couldn't make any changes.
So I restart the device.. Same problem
Then I powered off device, and on power on.. I was able to use fingerprint sensor again.
But after sometime, same problem reoccurred. Repeat the above procedure.. problem gone.
But Now my finger print sensor settings were completely gone from settings
So I tried following
1- Reset All settings Failed
2- Restore factory settings from settings Failed
3- Powered off device.. Volume up + power key => Wipe data/ factory restore
(Fingerprint settings reappears)
But now when I try to enroll new fingerprint..
It doesn't even give me chance to tap finger on fingerprint sensor. Just throw the following error
Enrol Fail
Failed to construct fingerprint
Try enrolling another finger
Note:
my device is on emui 4.1
Build # BLN-L21C185B131
Pls help

That's really weird...the same thing happened to me about two hours ago, although I rebooted and it hasn't happened again. I'll keep doing it every time I walk by my phone and see if it does.
Kind of suspicious, lol.
Edit: Mentioned this to my wife, and she said hers did the same thing, at about the same time. Maybe that function won't work if the secret chinese fingerprint collecting server is down. Weird...

I kinda fixed it by wiping out cache partition before hard reset.
But now they are gone again It's a software issue for sure.
What build you are actually on?

fingerprint sensor
Hello, for a month, my fingerprint sensor, of the Honor 6X, does not work anymore. Fingerprint sensor is no longer in settings. I think maybe this will come back after the update to android 7 Nougat. Men unfortunately now, fingerprint sensor is no longer in the settings.

If it's no longer in the settings, it's probably due to software issues (not hardware).
Try to update and see if it changes or not
