I've ordered 6 plus but it is not with me yet. However, have you tried using tool provided on the Chinese site instead of multi tool? Links are in this forum. If you cant find, I can look up for you. Thanks.
I have had a little play and edit of tools around to get mine flashed both ways. The files attached work for my PE TL-10. If you ensure that you put the SuperSU.zip file in the same directory as the commands and notes, it will work fine. I have flashed both ways from stock to CWM and back several times and installed the SuperSU.zip file.
Just follow the notes and you should be good to go.
thank you

hye. just follow your tutorial but ending in bootloop. im able to flash those recovry but failed to boot to it. phone just bootloop . i think this tutorial cannot be done on lollipop 5.1.1 version.
I have not tried this on 5.1.1 as IU have had no need to root it. Mine is still with an unlocked boot loader from 4.1.1 but running 5.1.1
I hope you have managed to recover your system.

Hello all,
I have been going slightly mad today trying to get my mate 7 2GB back from CWM to stock recovery. The main problem is that I do not have a stock recovery image. But after being shown where to find one, I noticed that I could not get it successfully flashed either.
Since I do not really know how to do this, I used flashify, but that did not work and either returned me to the CWM or sent me to rescue.
Can someone help me to a) get a stock recovery image for the Mate 7 version MT7-L09 and b) show me how to properly flash it?
Find stock recovery is easy.. only a question why flashify don't work for you? It work fine for me... your device is rooted?

Hi @dzjero86, my device is rooted and I am on the B137SP03 version atm, using CWM. Don't know why Flashify is not working for flashing a recovery image. It works fine to flash a CWM recovery. Maybe I have the wrong stock recovery... If you can find it, can you send me the link or add it as an attachment here?
Please guys help me to . i have that same problem i have been trying to flash the stock recovery again but i couldn't even with flashify after i flash i takes me to bootloader screen and it shows me a fun_error message

A way to find the stock recovery is : download the whole B137SP03 Rom from the Huawei site , and use a tool called "Firmware unpacker for Huawei" whit this tool you can extract the recovery.img from the Rom and try to flash it using flashify

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Or try to use this tool

This should work.
The fast boot just stucks at waiting for device

Ok, I couldnt access your firmware unpacker, but I did manage to use the tool you suggested.
I have a different recovery screen, but is this the right one? It has EMUI large in centre screen and the options reboot system now, wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition.
If this is the correct one, and I am already on the D137SP03 ROM, I should be able to locally update right?
I tried this, and got a lot further this time, but my phone gave an error message during the update. Do I need to flash the original B137SP03 rom again, even though I am already on it?
I think you maybe can flash using adb commands and also you need adb drivers working

That's right... you have stock recovery... sometimes the update fail if the UPDATE.APP is on the internal storage.. try to flash from a micro sd card or re-download the update ....

No luck so far.... I've downloaded the update.zip, put it in my mnt/ext_sdcard/dload folder and start the local update. It begins OK, as the progress bar moves along. But after about 25% it shoots to the end, and then I get an update failed screen with a red exclamation mark.
What could I try to get it to work??

Hi.
If someone want to root this phone Allview P7 Pro you can do it by flashing TWRP and then SuperSU.
Here is the link for TWRP: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3-CwjCz7AuhdmRCR01TcHZvWkU/view?usp=drivesdk
You need to flash this with Sp flash tool http://spflashtool.com then from TWRP install Super Su https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133 and reboot.
I've rooted mine.
Good luck.
Thanks. Can I link this post in another forum? Cuz some other ppl would like to root their devices too..

First of all. The download the required files.
- TWRP Recovery
-Super SU
-SP Flash Tool
1) On your PC open up the Flash Tool, on the scatter select the file you have downloaded before.
(Before you proceed make sure you have enabled the Developer options by going to Settings -> About Phone -> And click the Build number until you see a little box saying that "You are now a developer". Now go back and head to advanced settings and go all the way down, where you'll see the Developer Options, go in, look for USB Debugging and turn it on.)
2)Move the Super SU zip file to your phone or SD card.
3) Now turn off your phone, click Download and connect your phone via USB cable and the process should start. A window should pop up saying Download Complete, and click OK.
4)Now disconnect your phone, press the Volume up button then the Power button until the screen lights up, then release it. The recovery should start up.
5)Now click Install and navigate to the file. The install and the interface is pretty simple so you won't have problems during it. After the installation is completed, click Reboot System and wait until the phone start up. Done!
Pls tell us if you don't understand something. (Sorry if I made a grammar mistake, but English is not my main language)
GOOD LUCK!
Nice!!!

I FINALLY GOT IT WORKING!!!!
For those who think that their phone got bricked, listen 'ere.
After i installed TWRP phone stopped booting, it got in bootloop (i was able to get in recovery)
If this happens to you to, just install SuperSU (the exact version that is on the first page, first reply), it installs another boot image that will work. Your phone should boot properly now ( it might take up to 5 minutes to first boot, it happend to me, i got worried but it was alright).
Thank you so much, now i can finally do WHATEVER I WANT with my phone.

Hi,
I need your help: I might have bricked my Mate 9 while trying to root it. Right now it makes a boot loop. I still have access to TWRP:
I already WIPED the phone with TWRP (all apart from the Systempartition) but I'm still out of luck.
I downloaded the current firmware (FULL) and extracted the update.app, copied it into a "dload" folder on my SDCARD but I get a "Software install failed" after 5% from the HUAWEI updater tool (which opens when pressing VolumeDown while booting). I tried it with bootloader unlocked and relocked.
I really hope you guys have another idea!
Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
quicky

Thanks for the feedback. I HEARD that the new filesystem of the Mate9 renders the phone with that process. As you can see I'm a noob, I just wanted to ask if anybody was succesful with HuaweiExtractor on the Mate9
Also fastboot flashing method not working
Phone bootloap
So that means it's bricked? I just made a donation for "Funky Huawei" hoping that this solution will let me flash it back to normal. But I start running out of ideas.
Any other options?
Just to let you all know: I tried FunkyHuawei and I was able to recover my Mate9! Everything is working fine again.

Just reunlock from ADB
TWRP has come to the SM-C7000!
In order to install this, follow these instructions:
Enable OEM Unlock in developer settings
Enter download mode (Press and hold home + volDown + Power when powered off)
Using Odin, click the 'AP' tab and select the recovery.tar file you've downloaded.
Flash the TWRP image, then hold home + volUp + Power
Congratulations, you are now booted into TWRP!
Remember, on the stock ROM, dm-verity is enabled. What does this mean? If you swipe to allow system modifications, you must flash something that disables dm-verity (such as magisk or a dm-verity disabler.)
Also, on the stock ROM, you MUST format /data before performing any actions, due to the fact that it is force-encrypted by default.

None, as far as I'm aware of.

Thanks for this hard work
I haven't used this method yet
I'm really waiting for a stable costom rom based on lineage os ??
installed on my c7
i have installed on my c7000 hongkong firmware model. flashed with twrp with auto reboot off. restarted into twrp ,swipe to allow modification but it failed to mount storage. then i did factory reset in twrp and type yes. it removed all the data after that it asked me to install twrp and reboot. (it gives you options in twrp upon factory reset) did that and rebooted again in twrp . this time every thing is working good. mounted storage . after that put the supersu zip file on mobile via usb cable and installed through twrp install option then i installed (no-verity-opt-encrypt-3.1.zip) i dont know is it necessary or not but i installed it . rebooted now my mobile is rooted and twrp recovery is working fine.
only problem i got is that private mode is not working now. xD
thanks for making twrp to work :good:

Hey guy, I'm trying to port lineage os 14 & 15 to the S8 Pro, do you have experience with twrp, flash etc.? You could help with being my beta tester, next I'll put some betas on android file host, and make a forum here on XDA for the phone
Does anyone have a link to the twrp img file, or any other custom recovery, i cant find it anywhere, all the links just point to the flash tool but it doesn't contain the twrp img file?

I have found it on 4pda.
Just google ulefone s8 pro 4pda.
You need to let translate by google, because of different language.

Doesn't work with the firmware V3.01 and V3.03. Getting in the recovery works fine, but booting the system is impossible. The boot stay stuck at the "S8 Pro With android (something)" splash screen.

Something like this has happened to me too. Boot your phone on twrp then select the option 'Wipe', then "Format data", my phone only booted up after I did this

In the sound recorder I didnt find nothing, but the app GYBeautySnap aka BeautyMakeup open some annoyng processes (that consumes about 40mb of ram) that has something like ads, I think he is the real virus
Tried wiping then 'format system', still didn't work, stays stuck at the boot logo, bit thanks for the help anyway.
It rebootq only to a green TWRP!

I've retried the whole process: flashed the stock rom, booted the phone on fastboot, used this (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962021903579483650) to install twrp, and then i tried booting the phone..... :silly: it's don't started , so i used that noverity.zip that comes with the tool, after this my phone booted, the tutorial that i used demands the installantion of this zip View attachment noverity.zip

Hi, thanks for your help, seems I missed the noverity.zip part. What is the noverity.zip and how did you install it? (flashed via TWRP, ADB or using the tool?) Could you link the tutorial you used?

That noverity.zip disables a mechanism in the boot partition that verify the boot itself and the system partition, when you install twrp a little bit of the boot partition is altered and so the boot is blocked.
Install the zip using twrp. You can take a look at this (https://www.getdroidtips.com/twrp-recovery-ulefone-s8-pro/), but if I remember well, that s8 pro toolkit app is the one that asks you to install the zip

which firmware version are installed on your phone? Have you tried flashing the official ROM from the ulefone site, then retried the process?
Have tried on both v3. 01 & v3. 03 firmwares. Stock firmware wasn't downloaded directly from ulefone site, imagine it will be the same but will give it a go.
