The local Samsung shop put their own screen protector on my 12.2 and I'm not happy with the friction between it and the S-Pen (too much). I have the Logitech cover/kb coming in the mail and when it arrives I am considering just ditching the screen protector entirely. I've owned several Samsung phones sans protectors and never got them scratched.
Thoughts?
Tempered glass screen protector or nothing if the feel of glass is what you prefer. There's a thread about them in the accessories section.
I went ahead and got a zagg invisible shield for mine (until my mime tempered glass gets here saturday) and actually have to say Im pretty please with the performance. I had to get a hard squeegee since the one that comes with it is too soft to apply properly. The screen works rather well with the spen. Havent had any issues thus far. Pretty happy with it. I am using the rubber tips btw. The plastic may be different. Still switching to tempered glass though

Skip the screen protector. Only consider it if you frequently jam your phone into your pocket next to keys and change, which is definitely not a problem with this tablet.

Not gorilla glass though and despite extremely careful use mine already has 2 light scratches I can safely recurrent the invisible shield from Zagg and going to test the nine on saturday. Only issue with zagg is squeaking from my hand dragging on it. specifically the second nuckk of my pinkie

I don't know about the glass yet, mine should arrive today (Yea!!!), but the plastic one I have from amazon, sucks for the pen, I feel the rubber tip disintegrating as quickly as I write. The glass should be much better.
Matte screen protector with hard nib
I use a matte (anit-glare/anti-fingerprint) screen protector on both my note 12.2 and my note 10.1 (2012) with the hard plastic nib on the s-pen (not the soft rubbery one). The texture of the matte screen protector make it feel more like writing on paper.
When using the bare glass (no screen protector) I prefer the writing experience of the rubber nib on the s-pen because it gives the right amount of resistance to emulate writing on paper. However, my palm sometimes sticks when I try to slide it (depending on the amount of moisture on my hand).
I prefer to use a matte screen protector because my palm never sticks (even if my palm is sweaty). However, the rubbery nib causes too much resistance for the s-pen with the matte screen protector, so I use the hard plastic nib instead (which is just right).
Visually, the matte screen protector decreases the clarity of the screen and reduces glare. There is still some glare in extreme environments and I don't notice the degradation in visual quality. Ultimately, I use the notes for handwriting so I don't care about the visual effects of the screen protector either way.

I guess you better ask in the Tab S7 forum.
Here is Note 12.2 P90*.
Planning to get the Galaxy S6 instead of Edge due to price, anyways happy about the design and look of the Galaxy S6 I think its time to upgrade to this one instead of going for the Note 4.
I want to buy a good tempered glass screen protector my S4 suffered some micro scratches and I regret not having a screen protector on it. What do you think is the best brand with a durable screen protector for the Galaxy S6 or any other phone it’s my first time to buy one, need help.
Need a Tempered Glass and not just a film, here are my top choice
Zagg
Luvvit
iCarez
TechArmor
Found this one so far looks promising but not sure about the brand
Ultra Thin Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Galaxy S6
Any other suggestions?
I like magnaworks screen protector works well I think
Nillkin Tempered Glass screen protector would be a fine solution.
+1 for Nillkin. They have been great for me so far
Zerolemon's
Is there some who got informations about some glass screen that have one for the back included ?
I don't wanna hide this beauty behind a case
Not yet..
Does the back need tempered glass protection too in order for it not to crack?

Don't hope so...
I think its the same gorilla glass in the back and in the front so yes, if you're gonna put a screen in the front, it seems logical to put one on the back too.
EDIT: Nillkin tempered glass front screen + non-glass back screen available on ebay. Just bought one
Anyone have any experience with iVoler? Unless I'm mistaken, this looks to be a tempered glass protector for the front & the back for $4 with free shipping.

I tried another times accessories of Zerolemon for my s4. I'm waiting what they're gonna do for s6, I hope they make a protector
Just purchased both a front and back tempered glass (Nilkin). I'm wondering if an aluminium bumper would affect the signal/gps at all, and if the tempered glass would get in the way... Any thoughts?
Ah hell with it. Went the aliexpress route and purchased the aluminium bumper. Hope it all works out. I'll report back whenever I get it.

Not bad
Is the S6 screen flat so that there won't be the problems fitting a curved screen like with the Nexus 6?

What does "25d glass" mean? I thought (or maybe hoped) the glass was flat for the S6 and curved for the S6 Edge.

2.5 degree. Is the angle of the bevel. I was hoping it was flat too. But, it's not
Anyone got any links for the Nillkin front & back tempered glass protectors from any UK sellers?
The majority i've seen on eBay are from China and estimated delivery is 14th-30th April.
I want one on my phone as soon as I have it!
Has anyone found a fitting protection glass for our Redmi Pro?
I tried some which were said to fit "Redmi Pro" (also displaying our device with dual camera), but they won't fit. They are always missing 1-2mm of left&right visible display area which is pretty useless and ugly to see.
Even gearbest's recommended glass did not fit...
I also tried it and yes its not fit very well, i just take it off and leave it without a screen protector. look much better.
Little old post, but FYI, i tried an standard Samsung J7 tempered glass protector and, despite doesn't fit exactly on the corners of the phone, at least covers all the screen and fits reasonably well with the width of the phone.

All protectors are like that these days, they only cover the screen not the glass.
Also the redmi pro have a curved Glass design at the edge which would make it even harder.
It does not cover the screen completely. That is the problem. You have ugly color distortion at the protection glass edges inside the active screen area. No curved glass there at all.

Using stock protector but I am finding sometimes the screen doesn't register a press if it's right on the edge. Debating taking it off but it is fitted so perfectly I doubt any other one I fit will be as good
I'm also using the stock protector. I'm thinking of taking it off and go with no screen protector. Has anybody tried this phone with no screen protector to see if there is any improvements on the edges?
I don't use a screen protector. When I got the 8, it was several months before I realized it had one. I just left it on, until
it got scratched/peeling. Same with the 9. I just leave it until it shows wear, or starts to peel, then off it comes and
then I just don't bother with one. I'm pretty careful with the screen, it stays in a protected belt clip/case, never in my
pocket.
Using a glass pzoz screen protector for about 6 months now, they're better than stock imo. The stock one just doesn't do the screen justice. The problem with glass tho is that once the oily substance you put on the sides dissolves slowly you will get some kind of an edge peeling kind of look. Doesn't bother me a bit really, I have 2 more laying around at home and they're only 3 bucks a piece. I also enjoy the glass feeling better.
I had to take off the stock one after 3 months because I had so many scratches on it. I bought a bunch of glass protectors from ebay. They all leave a bit of the screen edge showing but with my case on, its barely noticeable.
I don't consider it being a screen protector. Just a soft foil to protect it when in the box during transport. Like the plastic foil on the charger. First thing I did after unboxing was ripping the plastics of. In my opinion, the Gorilla glass doesn't need an extra screen protector.
Planning to get the Redmi K20 Pro but would like to keep it minimal in terms of protection. Just need some scratch protection.
Seen Gadgetshieldz full body screen protector as one of the recommendations.
https://www.gadgetshieldz.com/xiaomi-redmi-k20-pro-screen-protector-guards.html
Anything else that can be used without adding much bulk just for scratch protection? Don't want to hide those lovely patterns on the k20 back.
You should be able to use any screen protector for the Mi Mix 3 we they have the same screen size.

Have you seen or tried the Mobile Outfitters films for front, back or whole size?
So I recently got my Mi 9T pro and found this thread while looking for a screen protector.
Has anyone tried the linked one from gadgetshieldz? If yes, good experiences? Does it cover the complete screen? I really can't stand the glass protectors which leave like 2mm of the screen on each side completely uncovered...

bought Glazedinc screen protector.. its hard and solid. covered every side.
I am using The Ringke Red Case, along with a generic Hydragel screen Protector from AliExpress (₹65). Till now my phone has had atleast 6-7 falls of which 2 were serious enough to stop the heart but zero bumps or cracks...
I haven't felt the need for over priced screen protectors from Glazedinc or anyone else...
Previously i used to use S-sheildz (Origin of GadetshieldZ from USA). Had to use water to apply the film but it was good enough that in my 7+ years of using them never had a screen scratch.... Or crack.. But can't find a source anymore. And Don't want pay more then 200 per screen guard....

once the Hydragel screen protector is applied, can that be removed .. when we dont want it..
I am using a nillkin screen protector 0.33mm without the black edges. Fits perfect without any bubbles or ring effect. So far the best screen protector for this phone if you want a glass screen protector. It has good olephobic coating so it's smooth and because I got the 0.33mm version they don't crack easily.
Where did you buy that? I have Nillkin tempered glass screen 0.2mm from Amazon India. It doesn't cover the whole screen. It doesn't even cover the display area completely. It also has halo around the edges even though I went to mobile phone store and asked them to apply the screen protector.
This is in fact my 3rd screen protector. I applied 2 others - one which had black edge which covered part of the display, and second one without black edges which also didn't cover the entire display.
I've also bought a set of 2 from GearBest, but I haven't applied it as it's the same size as the Nillkin one.
2 more on the way from Aliexpress, but I'm not too hopeful about them either. I don't want to take chance with another Nillkin, but you've found one that covers the entire screen and the edges stick properly as well, then I'd like to try it.

Oh easily,,, It's just some kind of plastic+rubber film that is preventing any scratches on my screen... Should offer enough protection from breaks also...
I'm using Clearplex on the screen with this phone. Is awesome. The case in the box is nice but not very strong, it's breaking in corners without getting hit or fallen.
I ordered hydrogel back film (Im waiting for it from Aliexpress) and a Nillkin transparent cover to have a couple of options.
Does transparent Nillkin cover get yellowish after a couple of months?

Have you noticed any changes with the performance of the fingerprint sensor?
Thanks!

Hmm I bought in lazada which is like aliexpress but for my country the 0.33mm one doesn't breakf easily and I understand what you mean by not fitting fully it does have like a gap of few cm of the edges. But a case solves this. I am using spoken case btw. it doesn't have the rainbow effect though. When I got it and install I just push the bubbles out from the side the rainbow effect is gone. Idk maybe different place they use different kind of glass. I am using Redmi k20 pro btw
