Bought this phone new from an amazon.com seller who had a bunch for sale. Do I still get the 1 year warranty and do I need to register the phone somewhere? I have the receipt.

You'll only get the warranty from OnePlus if you have the original purchase details (order number, etc) from when the seller bought the phone from OnePlus.

How long is the Manufactures warranty? Does anyone know if the manufacturers warranty would be honored if the phone was purchased brand new from ebay?
1 year.
Tough question. If you could prove your purchase then yes... but it would have to go through HTC themselves vs your carrier. They'll typically just fix the problem and send it back to you. I don't think they send out refurbs or replacements.
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a T-mobile galaxy note 3 from swappa. The phone is brand new according to the seller. When I received, the phone was actually new, and there was nothing wrong with that. After 1 week of using, the microphone is completely dead. I brought that to T-mobile store but they refused to exchange since I bought from a 3rd party. Then I asked the Samsung customer service, but they said the phone is out of warranty. Swappa staff encouraged me to reach an agreement with the seller since they could not "judge" the situation. I wanted to get a refund since the point I bought brand new phone because of the warranty. The seller did not agree because she only accepted 3 days return only. She told me to fix the phone and she will pay for the repairing cost. Should I accept the offer or keep asking for refund, or even dispute through paypal? Will I be protected from paypal since I heard a lot of complaints about the paypal dispute and solution center?
Does anyone know if Lenovo or Lowe's offers any kind of insurance/damage protection? Square trade might but I don't know?

I thought I read somewhere that it was supposed to have a one year warranty, but when I added my phone to the Lenovo page, it claimed I had no warranty. I bought my phone from Lowes (online). The Lenovo phone rep claimed it was a glitch because their system isn't set up for phones, but they also couldn't look up my warranty to tell me how long it really was, so I'm not sure what to believe.
Square trade but it's a one time thing also make sure to get it right after getting the phone
Can you post link to Lenovo warranty register page?

I bought a square trade warranty for drops and spills, which also covers mechanical issues (if that's the right word), but I read somewhere our P2P has a 1 year manufacturers warranty, since it's sold in the states. According to Lenovo US Phab 2 Pro site http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/smartphones/phab-series/phab2-pro/ there is a warranty, but apparently you have to contact them for specifics.

There is a SquareTrade warranty with Drops and Spills... I couldn't get any kind of warranty for my Chinese Huawei Mediapad X2... SquareTrade said nope... They said only USA releases... I am thinking that I will get the SquareTrade with Drops and Spills. Something like a $99 deductible and maybe $150 a year... You need to have a receipt from a good USA retailer. I bought my Note 3 NEW on ebay a year or so after it was first released... SquareTrade would only give me a mechanical warranty... I bought my nephew a tablet that was manufactured with an inherent problem with the charging port. I got a 3-year Drops & Spills warranty on it. We are now on the THIRD brand - new tablet SquareTrade has sent us!!! The charging port goes bad and they apparently cannot fix it. I had no deductible and no shipping charges to or from! The only thing is that the tablet is no longer available and it took a LOOOONG time to get this last new one... I am going to demand money instead of a new tablet if it happens again!!!

I bought my square deal warranty for $79 for 1 year with $99 deductible. Use harvest20 as coupon/code at checkout for 20% off. At least that worked for me last Friday.

Thanks! I forgot about the 20% off... I have been getting emails from them about that and just automatically deleting them because I don't need a new warranty at this time... I am still waiting for the P2P to COME BACK!!! I WILL get the warranty ASAP after buying the phone... I figure I would be spending at least as much on a new phone without a warranty as I will on a P2P + WARRANTY...

Hey
I need to return my 6 month old Pixel due to an issue where callers cannot hear me and i cannot hear them.
Even though i purchased from EE, Google have agreed to do the warranty claim.
Whats the process really like? They say i will get my return within 7-14 days. Is this true?
I am on my 4th Pixel. First you report the problem, trouble shoot the issue. If it doesn't work, you can get a replacement. There are 2 ways to replace the phone, 1 Send the phone and after they receive it they send you a replacement. 2 They send you a replacement in the mail and after you get the replacement you send the damaged phone back. With the second option, they ask for a credit card or debit and put a hold for the price of the phone until they receive the other phone. If they don't get the phone back a certain time frame, you will be charged. You will get a refurbished phone, not a new one.
Hi. any ideal if i can get a repair from them if this item was a gift from my friend? As they bought it from other retail outlet from outside the google store.
Is there a way not to contact the retailer for the warranty as i doubt they can provide it also. Anyway for direct google to do the exchange? Thanks in advance ..

New to this, Is there any chance of a good reason to try and get a refurbished. I currently own a Verizon Google Pixel 32g 7.1.2 (Build NHG470 W. JUL. 2017 Security Patch),but I want to root my own device and from what I understand I must unlock the bootloader b4 I can achieve root? If so what do I need to tell warranty Dept. When requesting a refurbished phone?
Just an update to my initial post.
Eventually I did the repair through EE. Google needed the device shipping to Germany! (Postage paid by Google though). But I thought this may take longer. And I'd have no loan phone.
The process through EE was painless. Chatted online and they said to drop the phone off to a store. Was given a basic Samsung Ace 3. 7 working days later the phone was at the store.
It was replaced, I guess with a refurbished phone. Newer than the previous and this bootloader is unlocked, it was locked to EE before!
I had the same problem and got a new phone 2 days after troubleshooting did not help.
Hello
Anyone here who purchased pixel phone from Currys or carphone warehouse website ever asked for proof of purchase with IMEI and actually got it?
Google asking for it to replace under warranty.
Stdange. I had good expierence with google RMA. I bought Pixel 6 Pro from hands. It was working ok, but unfortunately it heated very often in the summer and I asked google for RMA. And they didn't asked for proof of purchase. I said phone bought feom hands. And google replaced because phone still was under warranty. But with Pixel 2 XL google asked for proof of purchace because they wanted I'm going to the store and ask them to replace. And as store didn't want to replace google accepted for RMA.
Whenever i have bought from them the IMEI has always been on the reciept that was with the phone when it was delivered. You are probably better off letting Currys deal with the phone to be honest given your contract is with them.

Mine was delivered with no invoice.
Currys will take it back and see if they can repair which means no phone for who knows how long. Google includes warranty so want to use them for quick replacement.
Turn around was 2 weeks when i took a phone back to Currys, they just sent it off to Nokia who replaced the phone.

That's the problem I don't have spare phone. Google offer advanced replacement so they collect old and deliver new same time but keep a hold on bank for full amount in case they do not get correct old phone back.
With no proof of purchase/IMEI what choice do you have? You could end up nearly a grand out of pocket.
