Microphone only working on speakerphone - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So, I ran into this problem today.
I have an all stock OPO and this just happened today or yesterday.
Does anyone know a fix to this, or do I really have to contact OP about it?
I've had a lot of issues with previous phones, so my will to live with these issues are dropping hard.
Hopefully someone can help me.

[Q] 2.3.4 Speaker Phone Wifi Calling Issues

Hello all!
I am a noob on here so if this has been asked or brought up before please forgive me. I couldn't find any info on this issue. After installing 2.3.4 on my sensation (I am running stock out of the box) I notice when I connect the phone to wifi and use wifi calling that when I use the speaker phone on my phone, the person on the other end can no longer hear me. The person just says hello over and over and totally cuts off the mic on my phone. When I enter it back to the regular headset, it continues to be cut off. When I try troubleshooting the issue I connected to the t mobile network it works just fine. Only when I use the wifi calling feature does this happen. Does this happen to anyone else? Is this a known bug? I did a battery pull and this did not fix the problem. Any suggestion or feed back would be much appreciated. Thank you everyone!
Not one person is having this issue? Can anyone help out there? At least let me know if it is a known issue. I know the speaker phone is terrible but I'm only trying to find out if there is a fix for this.
Thanks!
HTC Sensation Speakerphone does not work on WIFI
I am having the same issue. Speakerphone does not work over Wifi. Person on the other end cannot hear me and I often cannot hear them. When I am not using Wifi, speakerphone works fine. Version 2.3.4 seemed to improve speakerphone volume, but it still does not work over Wifi. I contacted HTC tech support and they said while they were unaware of the problem, but it is possible that it exists. They said they would investigate. We will see. Not sure whether the HTC Amaze has the same problem.
I had the same issue till I S-offed and flashed a new ROM. I think it's something with TMO's factory ROM they have the speaker function turned way down and my first Sensation would do just what urs is.
Rec: Unlock (S-off) and flash a new ROM (I personally am running CoreDroid 2.4)
I'm on ARHD 3.6.2 and non speaker phone works ok, but on speaker I've been told its hard to hear.
I am also having a same issue. I've opened up a ticket with t-mobile. T-mobile techs are looking into this issue. Yesterday I went to the store from which I purchased my sensations and showed them the issue. We tested the issue with other HTC android devices but only sensation is having this Issue.
I noticed this problem a couple months ago, and am surprised there hasn't been a software update to fix it. In the meantime, I just shut off wifi if I expect to make a phone call using the speaker phone, which is somewhat annoying.

[Q]How to Fix Dropped Calls On OnePlus One?

Calls drop often. Usually within the first minute, and then every time when Im calling back after 10sec. The phone itself does not lose signal. Strange thing is, if I'm getting phone call after first/second drop, phone continues connection without problems... But Only when Im receiving a phone call not when Im trying to re-call someone.
- I tried replacing my sim and the issue persists. No problems with other phones using this Sim (even in the same locations).
These are pretty annoying issues. Anybody else experiencing them? Is there a different radio I can try for the phone? Is there any log I can access showing a reason for the call drop, or any trouble shooting I can do? This seems to be independent of WCDMA Only/Preferred/GSM/WCDMA (Auto) settings. Or if, how to change these settings?
Note: This has nothing to do with the network. I've been with the same company (Orange Europe) for about 2.5 years, and have never had this happen before. This has been consistent since I got my OnePlus (about 1 week ago)
That's true. I'm experiencing this as well for quite some time now. At first I joked and said: Hey, the NSA joined our conversation.....again. But after some time it really annoys me. This has nothing to do with the ROM or kernel as I have tried out various combinations. What I found out is that it got better after I returned to stock CM 11s with stock kernel. But it's not gone completly.
Honestly I neither know how to fix it nor what is causing the problem. Try to reflash the CM11S 25R firmware and see if it gets better. I think something is wrong with the modem software since CM11S 22R,25R and CM11 builds are using the same modem software. Maybe the announced update for the end of this month or early next month will fix this. I really hope so because a phone which is not able to hold a call, can't be considered as a real phone.
Oh im pitty You, If You'll get something just please let me know. Any advices or help will be appreciated. Maybe waiting for new CM relase will solve the problem, I do rly like this OS even with so many bugs... there is always an option. Move to stock 4.4 published by OP on official website.
Anyone else facing the same issue? Was there ever a fix for this issue? I'm on 38R and still encountering this issue
Same here.
See this thread for answers and work around. No solution as of yet.

[Q] Verizon Edge Not Receiving Calls

Hey guys, up til this week I have thoroughly enjoyed my Note Edge however, as of late the phone has stopped receiving calls from my wife's iPhone 5s at least 90% of the time. I say only my wife's phone because thus far I don't know if anyone else has tried to call me. I was wondering if anyone else on the Verizon version, or any version, is having this same issue or if there's at least someone that might be able to suggest some ideas to try and remedy this. Thanks guys in advance for your help

That is very odd. It shouldn't be doing that. I have had the phone since launch and haven't had that issue. Have you installed the advanced calling feature on your phone? What troubleshooting steps have you taken?
I haven't tried any in depth troubleshooting yet, as it seems the kink might have worked itself out, or I could potentially chalk it up to Verizon's weaker service in NW Louisiana. But I'm going to try some things out tomorrow and see how that goes. I haven't installed the advanced calling feature either. How do I get that set up?

[Q] Call quality issues

Hello guys,
I am having an issue with the quality of my calls. I can hear other people fine, but they can barely hear me, it's really quiet or muffled. I cannot pinpoint the source of the issue, and I was wondering if anyone could help out. I am running CM12S Nightlies, Franco kernel, nothing else on top of that I think. I am not sure if the issue is software or hardware related. No physical damage, though I have dropped it a couple of times. I don't know if it's a radio issue either, and I am not sure which one to choose. I am located in New York City and use T-Mobile, would anyone happen to know which radio works effectively there? Are they compatible with CM12? I've done all the research I can but I still can't figure out the why the issue persists. Any help would be appreciated, and if there are any questions, please ask, I'll be happy to provide any additional details that could help resolve this.

Anyone having issues with the loudspeaker?

Whenever I call people on the loudspeaker, the person on the other end says I sound muffled or crackly. Anyone else have the same issue. Fastboot flashed stock rom and made no difference.
Yeah I've been having the same issue since the phone came out. Not sure if it can be fixed or not with a software update.
