Please tell me how to open recovery mode in which "Install From SD Card" Option will available???
This typically refers to Custom Recoveries. If you have one flashed that is.
To answer your question. You turn the phone off, hold down VOL DN +HOME +Power and then let go of the power button after the phone starts. Don't let go of the other 2 buttons until you get recovery screen.
NOTE, the recovery that came with the phone is incapable of flashing the ZIP files from your SD Card.

Well I updated my CWM to the latest .5 or something because it was supposed to fix the charging while off problem, unfortunately now I can't get into CWM manually at all.
I used to be able to pull the battery, plug phone in, put battery back and turn on and it would load CWM. Now it just begins charging and then boots normally when I hold the power button.
Any help?
Heres what i do:
1. Shutdown the phone
2. Once its off, press and hold the volume down, then press and hold the powerbutton.
3. once in the bootloader, use you volume down button to select the recovery option, to click it press the power button and it should be on CWM recovery.
OR
1. Download ROM manager from the Android Market
2. Once installed, Click on "Reboot to recovery" or something similar.
I tried flashing chingy's gingervitis but its got all sorts of problems for me.
Can someone tell me how to get into CWR without Rom manager so I can flash my backup? I can't download it from the market because opening the market freezes and reboots my phone.
Turn phone off > Hold vol - (first) then hold the pwr button
Plug into pc...adb reboot recovery

If you want to restore a CW backup choose the "recovery" option.
Sometimes it will start scanning the P05IMG.zip file if you have one on the SD so take it off with a card reader so HBOOT doesn't scan the file, unless you want to just restore one of the RUU's then you can leave it there and install it from HBOOT.

I had the same problem, because I had already taken the 4.0.4 update. The problem I (and I suspect the others) were having is the reboot after Odin installs the CWM. It happens so fast, there's no time to unplug the tablet and do the button dance to boot into recovery. As a result, the normal boot goes through, and runs the install-recovery.sh that Ryan79 mentioned in system/etc, restoring stock recovery.
Here's how I solved it:
1). On Odin, uncheck "Auto Reboot".
2). Install CWM6.
3). When it goes green, unplug the tablet (still in "download" screen).
4). Reboot manually into recovery (hold power + Vol. left, release power, hold vol. left until CWM screen comes up). I did this straight from the "download" screen. The tablet powered off after a few seconds of holding the power button, then came up to the samsung screen, then I released the power button and continued to hold the volume button until CWM6 loaded.
5). I installed the cwm-root-gtab2.zip file.
6). I selected YES when the "Stock Reboot Fix" question appeared.
Rebooted from recovery, Successful root! Looks to me like the "fix" simply renames the install-recovery.sh, removing the ".sh" at the end. I have now rebooted a couple of times normally, and can still access CWM6 through the buttons.

I was running an older version of fluent rom and decided to upgrade to 7.5. i downloaded it and checked the md5 sum and everything matched up. put it on my sd card and went into twrp. wiped everything and tried to flash and it failed. i tried once more and it failed and restarted. now im stuck at the white htc boot screen that says " this build is for development purposes only etc" in red.
I can hold vol up+ power and restart the phone but then im at the same screen.
ive also tired holding vol up+ power to restart and then vol down+ power to go to HBOOT but once im in hboot and let go of vol up+power its like it instantly selects something and it asks me if i want to update.
Parsing... [sd zip]
reset htc debug flag...
[1]adsp
[2]rpm
[3]sensor hub
[4]wcnss
apply update or not.
select yes it says ok next to 1-4. and then says press power to restart
if i say no it just says press power to restart.
im stuck and dont know what to do :[ any help would b greatly appreciated...
Did you ever flash firmware or some such thing by putting the file on your sdcard and then renaming it to 0P6BIMG.zip? Sounds like you have a file like that on your sdcard. Remove the sdcard and then boot to hboot. If you need the sdcard for a rom, you can mount the sdcard on a PC and delete the file from there. Then replace it in the phone and boot. If that's not an option, perhaps you can remove the card, boot to recovery and then put the card in and mount it in TWRP. Not sure about that but that's what I'd try. If it mounts, you should be able to delete the file from within TWRP.
There is hboot.zip on your ext sd card. That is why whenever you go to hboot,it ask to update. So power off the phone.Take out the sd card. Then boot up & go to hboot & select recovery. The flash the rom.But first check your current firmware verison.I think it is the problem to bootloop. If so update it from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2723159
To anyone that owns onetouch idol 2s
I figured out a way to get cwm recovery onto this phone and it's close variants.
6050 models. I have 6050a
1. Head over to yadi.sk/d/CrCAJ1MgcxTCW
2. Download file
3. Install the driver from the attached archive ADB
4. turn off your phone and boot to "fastboot" by volume down+power button before the alcatel one touch screen.
5. If you did it correctly, the label will stay on the same screen.
6. Run the "check_disk.cmd".
7. Connect your your phone on USB. Make sure debugging is enabled.
8. Run the file "flash_recovery.cmd"
9. Phone will reboot.
10. Power off phone and then power on holding volume up+power button till it boots into recovery.
You should now have cwm recovery on your phone
