[Q] Help: GT-I 9003 full brick - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

Sorry for my bad englsih!
After I flashed it because it did not recognize the SIM card more, it's probably completely dead. No shortcut is possibile.
But it is interesting that the phone when it is connected via USB and I, obviously connects the battery inlay with the computer. It has not yet seen anywhere else on the screen a reaction. The key combination VOL + + HOME + POWER indicators
Only the computer signaled by two short beeps that something was infected. Also in Device Manager a response for the USB ports is detected.
But only when I use the battery inlay. Not when I take him or USB interface cable or ausstecke!
Because there's still any hope?

Hello;
1) Don't Panic (Yet) - Depending on what you have done, there may be some hope.
2) Tell me: What Rom where you before Flashing and wich ROM you have just Flashed.
3) Tell me If you use "ODIN" and if you Checked "EFS Clear" ? (NEVER DO EFS CLEAR AS THIS WILL ERASE YOUR EMEI ! )
4) Revert to your Previous ROM;
5) Check Your IMEI;
Mean While do some research about "EFS" (What it is and what it is for)
Let me know how more as soon as possible.
Best Regards;
Please Press Thank Button if it helped you as this will keep me motivated to help on any ways possible (within my knowledge ofcourse).

NBD 7.9 & Boot problem

Hi,
I have installed ~2 weeks ago NBD 7.9 and everything was ok. Today I have restarted my phone to change my SIM card but my phone could not start.
I see HTC logo but phone freezes after having NBD logo and nothing happens.
As you can image because of could not connecting to the phone, I can not also update ROM.
Any tip to recover my phone?
Did you try a hard-reset?
Can you explain what exactly you mean? Probably I do not know what is hard reset on these devices.
Ok I have found hard reset on the page
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=WizardFAQ
But now there is no power also. I also could not boot anymore.
* Press and hold both the Comm Mannager Button and the Voice Command Button
* While keeping those two buttons pressed, press the Reset Button with your stylus
* After about a second you will be prompted for confirmation. Press the Talk Button to confirm
----
oh I see, you found it.
the hard reset set your phone to the "original state" of the ROM (in that case right after you installed your NDB rom).
what do you mean there is no power?
Could it be your battery is empty and needs to re-charged?
There is no response on the phone now.
I suspect battery is empty but when I try to connect power cord no response also.
If you are sure your battery is not empty try to get into the bootloader mode:
depending on the type (G3 or G4) follow the instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613
especially step G3.2 or G4.2 respectively.

When I tried to connect to power while the phone is off it takes some seconds before response. Have try.
I have a G3 device (Vodafone VPA II Compact). But there is still no response.
I think it is power issue now. The bad thing is that I have only USB cable at home and the main power charger at work now.
Are there any way to charge with USB cable when phone is not open?
I would suggest following:
1. ensure your battery is full
2. do the hard-reset again - this may solve your problem already
3. if not, try to get into the bootloader mode (see the thread referred to above for instructions)
4. follow the instructions to re-load the ROM

I just tried ... while your phone is off the USB connection to the PC should provide you the current .. at my case the WIZARD starts to charge .. have a try.
----------------
the red LED light on the right above the display indicates the charging .. and turns green once it is fully charged, so in any case, you should see a light, although it takes 3-5 seconds after connecting to the USB.
Does it work?
I have tried and there is no light. As I remember before it was not possible if you are not connected via ActiveSync.
Anyway, I can try Monday at office.
Thanks for your help!!!
You're welcome. Good luck for Monday. Hope it will work out. Not much help yet from me but I will be around here.
This was driving me mad as well. I had to put it into bootloader mode (holding camera while resetting) and flash back to the Tmob 2.26 and then reflashing nbd.
The trick is to disable the HTC home plugin before you install any other apps. From what I understand its to do with some mysterious dlls.
I found this out on Friday and so far I haven't had any problems but I guess its still early days.
Good luck!
OK. It was a power issue and I could make a hard reset at office and it works again now.
I will try NBD 8.1 and see the difference.
Thanks for your help a lot!
good to hear it is working again!

Have you tried holding in the camera button then plug the phone into the usb port
you should get multi color screen..then you can flash
yes i tried
LED lights greens also dont work
anybody help me ?
Is the battery OK (3,6-4,2 V on the outer pins)?
Does the charging of the battery still work?
- via AC plug or
- via USB (PC on)
If not: Could still be broken connector on the PCB, but this is very rare as the construction is really solid there. To check, have the AC or USB (PC on) cable connected and bend it upwards a little in the socket, hold for 5 seconds to see if the charging LED goes on.
If also this does not give any sign of life, so neither any LED nor the bootloader are visible at anytime - then the S710 has passed away, may it rest in peace :-( Possibly sell it for organ transplant at ebay, just tell honestly there what works and what does not.
battery its ok
the charging of the battery still work AC plug USB PC on ok
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2913636&postcount=1 if this help me ?
Not so much strategy visible yet to rule out all options, several failures are possible - please comment all sections:
1. SIM cover switch defective/considered "open":
After switching on, the green LED goes on - then off again, no LCD visible. No further signs of life (see also 2.). Close and open the SIM cover a few times, try inserting a SIM and close door, try to switch on again. Usually only happens if you disassembled the device.
2. LCD defective / disconnected upper half of device:
After switching on, the green LED goes on - then off again, no LCD visible (just like above). To check if the device is on, but you just can't see it, connect it to a Windows PC with Active Sync and see if the PC connects. USB connections at AS must be enabled. This error comes sometimes after disassembly, but also when devices are just heavily used in slide-out mode.
3. Flash of a cooked ROM failed:
The device will boot into Bootloader (3 color screen) automatically. You can force this by: switch off device, hold down (and keep holding) the camera switch while connecting power (AC or USB). The orange LED will shortly light up and go off again - the 3-color screen should be there. To check if you are connected via USB, use terraterm pro or another USB capable Terminal program (disable USB connect in Active Sync before) and press enter. If you see the CMD> prompt - bootloader is alive.

Help!!! after hard spl intalation htc raphael doesn't respose!!!

Please help me guys . I tried to flash my phone. I conetcted the phone with active synch then on compiuter start the hard spl exe. Then i wait 2 minits and on my computer screen pop up new window and there write coz error 260. So then i dosconect the usb from pc , pick up the phone baterry wait 3 second then put battery to the phone but still doesn't response. I can push tur on button or reset button . But nothink!!!! please help what i need to do?
Before you flashed, you did make sure that you installed Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (mentioned in that same post)
Did any of the following happen?
*DO NOT start another process while the flashing process is taking place*
*DO NOT click off of the status bar... Let it stay in the foreground*
*DO NOT let the Screensaver activate*
(any of these can lead to a bad flash and possibly brick your phone)

If so, then you have possibly bricked your phone, my friend
Also, did you wait for it to sync and can you enter bootloader? Hold the volume down key and press the power key/reset button and release the volume down key when you see the multi-color screen.
Additionally, you should be able to remove all cards and your battery and be able to get into bootloader mode by holding the volume down key and connecting to your computer.

I tried now to do it i insrt usb to pc and pocket pc then hold volume down key. But nothing. Mayby you have skype i wna to comunicate with you faster. And maybe you can help to me wat can i do now. Thx for answering
How long did you hold the volume down key? I have to wait at least 2 - 3 seconds from when I connect the cable to my device as I have the USB cable already connected to my PC. In other words, hold the volume key down while you are doing all of this, till you see the multicolor screen.
i can hold it 3 or even 6 minits. but you say something about the colours. when i install the spl with synchronization my phone just like died. i dont know wats hapen. and now i dont see any colours on my phone screen. now the screen is black.when i put battery in my phone about after 3 hours my phone back a litle worm. i dont know what to do.
That sounds like you bricked it. Sorry to hear but if you are positive that you did everything as the post I linked you to, mentioned, then it should work. I'm not sure where the process stopped working for you but perhaps you can try retracing the steps? Although, it does sound like you missed a step and now you're phone is bricked. I'm also not sure if you understand what I am saying or asking you to do but I guess if it isn't working, it just isn't working?
Synchronized Well I just shook my phone and the program's EXE file in the SPL. and then there shook far, far away and then threw away so that you do not click anything, not combine any other program. I do and do it. I've been waiting for. Then I look at my phone screen and blacked everything. Then dropped onto a computer error 260th And I do not know what I can do. It does not RESPOND at all. Even though I tried hard reset but still nothing happens. Maybe I should try to flash the phone to make a micro sd? Once uploaded there y card and then pressing a few buttons to be there? Extend the writing maybe?
I'm not 100% sure this will work unless you have HARD-SPL flashed to your device; which is where we stalled out the last time.
Once you have the stock ROM, rename it to RAPHIMG.nbh. Copy just that file to the root of your microSD (preferably a FAT32 formatted microSD but not required). Then, remove the SIM and hold the volume down key while you press the reset button and continue to hold the volume down key till you see the onscreen instructions. According to THIS post, this method should work for flashing a ROM. I am am not able to really say for sure that it does as I never really used or had to use the microSD flashing option.
This doesn't work to maybe i can somehow reinstall the original htc touch pro soft?
The only OTHER way would be through USB from bootloader but if you find it difficult to get that far, I don't know how else to help you my friend.
Maybe you can write a detail lession how can i do this? how can i louch that bootloader . Please help i realy need your help
Try it this way exactly:
Remove your battery, SIM and microSD. Now plug your USB cable to your device (not the computer). Hold the volume key down and plug the other end of the USB cable to your computer and wait till the multicolor screen comes up. If you do not see the multicolor screen, this may be an indication that the USB cord may be messed up (try another in this case), it may be the USB port (try another in this case) OR worse case senario, your phone is just plain bricked my friend...
Additionally, you may need to try another computer.
Once you get into bootloader we will need to go ahead and get hard-spl onto your device.
First, let me know when you get to the bootloader screen...
This doesn't work to ;(((((((((
I don't know what to say, it is sounding more and more like you've bricked your phone. Have you tried another cable / another USB port / another computer?
So, which raphael do you have? CDMA or GSM? And which hard spl did you flash: CDMA or GSM? And did you flash the raphael hard spl, or did you do something like flash the diamond hard spl (or the unlocker)?
If soft resetting the phone doesn't bring it back, then it's probably bricked. I have a feeling you flashed the wrong bootloader for the device.
so if i bricked my phone. No i can just throw it to the dump. or maybe i i send this phone to the repair shop. Maybe they gona repair it?
So, what bootloader did you flash, and what model do you have? If it's the wrong combo, I guess you could sell it on ebay for spare parts. You're not likely to get it fixed.
i have t-mobile mda htc touch pro. and i tried to flash it with Raphael_VZW_HSPL_035
My friend, if you flashed that to your phone, your phone is now bricked from what I can tell. T-Mobile is GSM, that HSPL looks to belong to Verizon which is CDMA. I could be wrong but if you failed to read, then obviously you really didn't need to do it. :enter sad face of choice here:
It's dead. Just put it up for sale on ebay; someone may give you 20-50 bucks for it.

Solving Power Button ISSUE

Hey guys,
So my brothers Nexus 5 came to an end but i'm determine to recover it (Already Partially Recover)
Backstory:
So initially the power button wasn't working like it couldn't be pressed, and as the device was already off i decided to plug a charger in and it would enter the boot stage but enter a boot loop which further research showed me it was a issue with the powerbutton, So i came to the conclusion to remove + replace the power button so i opened it up, took a look and soldered the broken power button off, with alot of time and effort i managed to remove it and clean it up with the intentions of installing a new powerbutton i bought a fine tip solder tip however it wasn't burning properly as i noticed eventually, in which i was unable to solder a new power button on even with flux, aswell as this i managed to solder it on in which i was convinced it was a decent soldering job as all the points were clearly connected i placed the board into the device (wHICH WAS A MISTAKE) as i should've waited a solid hour, to ensure it was strong, as of this the power button had come off as i was placing the board back in which meant the button was practically scrapped and i was extremely fustrated, so i decided to screw it a put the device back together without the back casings over the board, and i wanted to see if i could bridge the connection whilst the charger was plugged in in which i did and the device booted up.
Main Question:
Now my main question is, i need a workaround for the powerbutton currently i've installed Gravity Screen for him, however it's got a high battery consumption and it's not too reliable so i'm trying to get a solid method.
I've come across a headphone jack that has a button which i can configure to be a power button (Pressy or iKey)
Now that the issue with Locking + Unlocking is solved
How can i power the device back on when it shuts down due to lack of battery as i've sealed the phone back up, He currently runs Android 6.0 MRA58N, My main idea was to Root his Device + get TWRP installed however i was wondering if i could do this without rebooting his device / setting up a method to power his device via ADB however i haven't installed any ADBs etc so far.
My second idea was if i booted the device into fastboot by plugging in in the power cord and holding volume button, with the battery unplugged via the ribbon would it power on the device?
Last question is, i powered the device with the Camera Unplugged via ribbon cables however it's not working as the app just opens and closes without a FC so i was wondering if a reboot would just fix this?
ADDITIONALLY Another method could be rebooting via terminal However i'm unsure on how to use the Terminal / if i need root or not etc.
Thanks!
Contact a kernel dev. He will probably be able to remap the power button, to get it to boot from the charging screen. Or try to disable offline charging alltogether.

Okay Thank you,
UPDATE:
*I've Overcome the Powerbutton issue as i've ordered Pressy/iKey which should be arriving tomorrow which will lock and unlock my screen
*I'm now trying to figure out another method to power on my device if it shuts down:
One idea was to some how get the device to power on when i plug in a charger maybe by installing TWRP
Or another method was to power it on via an ADB shell on pc Or Something like that
*I'm also trying to reboot the Device however im unsure on how to do so without a power button.

Hardware Button defect - How to turn on Z5 w/o Buttons?

Hey there, I've got a question regarding my broken Sony Z5 and hope you can help me...
A few days ago I accidentally dropped my Z5 on the floor, so back and front glasses both cracked. The Display itself seems to be OK (since it didn't show any failures and the phone was still on and working). Just the Touch functions of the display were not working, meaning I wasn't able to use it anymore.
Since I'd like to get off the data from the phone I remembered I had such a problem with an iPhone 4 some time ago. So to put in my PIN and read it out with my PC I plugged an Lightning to USB adapter in it, and a USB keyboard from a computer. This worked out just fine, I put in my PIN and I was able to rescue my data.
Now I had the same idea with my broken Z5, and connected an USB OTG adapter with a computer keyboard. ...but it didn't work. Wether with a keyboard nor with a USB Mouse (since Android has Mouse support mostly).
After a short search on the web I had to realize the Z5 has USB OTG only after authorizing new devices in the menu.
or, ...as an alternative solution, to start the phone with the desired USB device already connected.
...so I did what seems to be my biggest mistake now: I pushed the reset button in the SIM card tray and hoped I would be able to operate it by mouse after a restart.
...but sadly, I had to realize the Hardware Buttons do not work anymore...
So, ...actually there is no way for me to switch the phone back on and boot.
Of course it will react if I plug the loading cable in it, and it will boot to the loading screen with that green battery.
Does anyone know any way to switch the phone on, without having to touch the buttons?
Perhaps is it possible by a special command/program using a computer?
Or is there an equivalent button on a hardware USB keyboard which acts as the power button or volume rocker?
(so I would be able to boot to the recovery screen instead of the battery-screen. I've read that it's possible to restart the phone from there...?)
I appreciate any help, thanks in advance,
best regards

First of all, are you rooted? Do you have USB Debugging on? If so, you can go for fastboot reboot without the need of powr key. Just plug it in while holding volume up key, type in your terminal or whatever you are using "adb devices", should show your device attached, then type "fastboot reboot" and it should reboot into system. Of course you'll need abd drivers for this.
You said the screen is working but the touch screen is not working?
Edit: Nvm, I tried on my device, you don't even need to have USB Debugging enabled.
With your device powered off, hold volume up key while you plug it in to your computer. A blue led should appear now. Go into your terminal, type adb devices, then fastboot reboot.
Edit 2: wait my bad, i read it wrong, neither your power botton or your volume buttons are working. Wops. that's a problem.
I actually have one solution for you, but only hoping you have USB Debugging and Root on your phone.
Alright, with adb on your computer: type "adb shell" hit enter, then type "su" and hit enter, then "reboot download", hit enter. Now the device should reboot to Flashmode, blue led should appear and screen should be black. Now you can run the command "fastboot reboot" to get into your system.
Hope it helped.. it's kinda tricky. I don't know other ways with no root
