A major online retailer has lowered the cost of the Infinity by $11.00 usd.
Drives me nutz I always jump the fence on the gadgets I buy.
I ordered an Acer then watched that one drop by $20.00 two weeks later.
It's only money...I keep telling myself.
I bought my Transformer Infinity yesterday from amazon and saw they lowered the price after

Amazon has it for $488.00
That's economics in action . Do you think it should stay at full MSRP continually.
i'm cool with 500 for the product. how much someone pay somewhere else or some other time is pretty irrelevant to me. if i wasn't happy paying full retail i wouldn't. i also wouldn't be enjoying the tablet right now if i took a deal other than what i have.
If you bought it from Best Buy they will do a price match for up to 30 days after you purchase it. I'm hoping to see it drop a little more so I can get a bigger refund

I know things drop in price and that's a good thing.
I was just whining about buying then seeing the cost dump within days of jumping in.
Price is always the determining factor when buying (usually.)
Be cool if Amazon would re-initialize their price match policy.
Getting a non-buggy tab is the main thing I'm thinking.

I thought bestbuy would only do it if the local stores are priced lower and not online sites. Can anyone verify this?

Yes, I can verify... It is a local store not online and the store should be sufficiently close. I did this with my TFP and got $50 off... \
P.S: Just reading TF700 forums to see if the problems on TF700 are worth the shift from my TFP to this.
Just noticed the price drop on Amazon. Emailed and asked for a refund of the difference and was denied (the rep was actually pretty rude too). Replied saying I just might have to take my business to best buy with a before and after price match, we'll see what they say. I spend a good $10k+ a year on Amazon, bad business.
Although Amazon is still the best option (no tax, free 2nd day shipping for prime members), they know it too...
Whew
I see Amazon has raised the cost.

Newegg is selling the TF700 + keyboard dock as a $592.99 combo.
Not sure how long that deal will last.
I would have been willing to pay 11 extra dollars to get it 2 weeks ago instead of waiting....
Samsclub got them also.
494 for 32 gray
594 for 64 gray
598 for 32 gray & keyboard
698 for 64 gray & keyboard
And Asus sleeve for 6 bucks (+ shipping)
ah.....I dont really care about the price, I just wanna know when the gold color is coming!!

Back to $499.99 on Ammozon...
The price at the pump is the same way...down 6 cents up 11 cents down 4 cents up 8 cents...whoa a hurricane is coming up 35 cents...oops a refinery fire up 44 cents...ah time to cast your vote for me down 30 cents :fingers-crossed:

Mine will be in a case most of the time, hence color is not a consideration for me. So I'll take a deal .

With Amazon, they'll even change the price at different times of the same day.
Anyone running these two side by side? I don't really think I NEED to buy the N5, so I wanted to see if anyone is using it who previous owned the N4, is there difference really that big?

If you have the money to buy the N5, you won't be disappointed
I'm upgrading from N4. To be honest, I am still amazed at how fast the N4 is for day to day usage. On the other hand, I've only been using my N5 for a couple hours, and I'm glad to report that it is mind glowingly fast.

I'm not gonna buy it until its readily available, the 3-4 week ship time is nonsense. Google needs to get their inventory in order, I might just end up finding one on Craigslist or Swappa by the time the N5 is available for immediate shipping.

Their delivery estimates are worst case scenario. Many people with the 2-3 week estimate have had them ship out already.
What's the difference between ordering now and waiting for them to ship it and waiting until it's "in stock" to purchase it? The latter will most likely take longer.

To be honest, I find the difference to be subtle.
Don't be discouraged by the shipping estimate though. I was given an estimate of 2 weeks when I placed my order last Thursday. Obviously I've received it already.

If I'm going to dish out around $380 with all the taxes, I don't want to wait a couple of weeks to get it. I have a bad habit of being an impulse buyer, but that also means when I spend the money, I need to be holding the product in my hands almost immediately.

Fair enough.
As the other has said, N4 is fast, but N5 is blazing fast...
Screen is larger, but I got the yellowish warm that I hope it can get fixed through some calibration...
Camera: haven't really tried much yet personally, but reports are that the low light performance is much better than N4.
I just miss the Cyanogen Mod features on N4, will have to wait...
Physically it feels like a very sleek device, maybe because I don't have any case on (yet) whereas with the N4 I have the bumper.
On Google site it said that it would ship out on the 15th, I got it today and had ordered it on Halloween so it came sooner than expected.

I personally dont see big difference between two. Maybe because I have Liquidsmooth and Matrix on my N4. But I still gonna keep the N5 cause its newer and hoping for better battery life

Nice find, but you should be more descriptive in the title.
Here is a clickable link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J2QUWTW/.
BTW, as of 11/19 @ 11:50AM CST, it's $0.01 + $4.98 shipping so total is $4.99. I don't like it when people just say "price + shipping" as if shipping doesn't cost anything. Even though the seller may be marketing the case as $0.01 but you still have to pay $5 in the end.

If this case is anything like one I bought for my Nexus 7 2012 before (and it looks identical), then the quality is pretty poor. I would say no one should pay more than $5 for it. So IMHO it's not a deal, just a fair price at best. Of course, if I am wrong and the quality is top-notch then indeed it's a deal, but I highly doubt it.

I bought it on eBay before and it's been a long time and I guess the buyer doesn't sell it anymore. But it looks more or less like this one below:
http://www.amazon.com/AYAMAYA-Gener...8618&sr=8-15&keywords=nexus+7+2012+pu+leather
Now after taking a second look, the one for Nexus 9 definitely looks better. I may even give it a try.

Idk, I'm just gonna stick to my carrying case. I would prefer to have the thing as close to naked as I can when I'm using it. as long as it's safe when I'm moving around, I'm happy.
I've seen varying numbers here, so I'm just wondering how much the OnePlus One actually costs in the UK.

From oneplus its £229 for the 16GB version and £269 for the 64GB model. There's a few pound for postage also, can't remember how much.
You can buy without an invite from online companies like oppomart, coolicool, aliexpress, etc. They're usually a bit cheaper but obviously take longer to get here.

Looks a nice phone too, usual pros and cons for both. Although for customisation and price I think the opo is hard to beat at the moment. I've got a nexus 5 but keep considering a opo, particularly for the battery and better camera. But will probably hold out to next year to see what opo release next. It would be nice to just buy directly from them with no messing about, but maybe that will change.
Below are another couple of great value devices also worth a look.

Your prices are spot-on, the delivery charges are £5.99 for standard and £9.99 for express. Note that it takes OPO 3 working days to process your order...
Also note that buying from APAC usually involves the buyer being liable for import taxes and VAT... which makes the phone F. expensive. And takes ages....
Does anyone know if it's gonna be in stock again before preorders end?
Nevermind. Saw it came back earlier & got myself a 128. Cancelled my 32 really blue.

wow that's QUICK
If you see a 128GB or other model out of stock, you should sign up for the waitlist. That's how I got my preorder for a Pixel 128GB Quite Black.
I just preordered a Pixel 128GB quite black as well. Too bad the wait time for delivery is over a month
I'm glad there is a wait. I already have the Samsung s7 a. D I like the small form factor of this phone. I'm sure the pixel will fit well in the hand. I need for the camera and battery life to be on par with the S7. Waiting allows all the reviews to be done. If there good I'll keep my order, if not I'll cancel the order.
I'm hoping for the price the phone it will at least be on par with the iPhone 7. Can't wait to see.

Yeah, that is definitely a good mindset. My Nexus 6P is great, but I'm kinda disappointed that they dropped the Nexus line (I assume no future updates aside from flashing).
I just pre-ordered to be able to get it early and if the reviews don't match the hype, I figured it'd be easy to return. I was really debating to get the XL for the battery size, but I figured that software and hardware as a "Google" phone would be optimized since Google controls the process so I chose the smaller form factor. I like the smaller form factor as well, especially since the specs are primarily the same. Just worried about battery life but I guess that should be answered shortly when customers starting receiving their phone.
Ideally, I would have it early so I can sell my Nexus 6P before it's depreciation hits rock bottom.
Since the wait time is like a month on shipping, I have s question. If I out an order thru Google store, and let's say in two weeks I can find something to be shipped quicker, can I cancel that one with no hassle before it got shipped? Do you actually prepay, or they will charge only when it is shipped?
They only charge you when they process the order. When you purchase it says preorder (status of orders, are preorder, processing ,shipped, delivered).
Right before your order is ready to ship they process and charge your card. I'm not sure how to cancelling works when the order changes status but it's fairly easy to cancel when it still preorder status
