[Q] fULL GUIDE OF rom INSTALLATION- hUAWEI g510 - General Questions and Answers

Hi everybody.
Okay, first, let me make it clear that I'm a complete noob and barely managed to root my device. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can provide. Now, let's get back to (THE URGENT)topic.....'
I own a Huawei Ascend G510-0200 and I have it bootlocker unlocked and rooted It through Kingo Android Root. Now, I want to install the custom Cyanogen 11 kitkat based rom for the Huawei. Here's the link to the load of sh*t I can't understand >> WorlWideWebb.modaco.cee-ooo-mmm/topic/367021-kk-444-cyanogenmod-110-rom-all-nightly-builds-available
Now, It says that I need some stuff called ClockworkMod Recovery ( The part I managed to understand). I installed Rom Manager but, As You all know the Ascend G510 is unsupported. So I decided to download the zip file, Install Rom Installer, Enter Recovery mode through Rom Installer, And choose the zip file. However, after choozing the file, It says "installation aborted".
Now that's the first problem. Here's my list of problems>>>>>
1.. How exactly should I install the Cwm?
2. Should I install twrp (and how ?)
3. Is there other other requirements I'm missing from the link ?
4. If I am, what are those requirements and How should I proceed ?
5. Finally, How to install the ROM itself ??
If you can, please explain the above in SIMPLE TERMS and thanks in advance,

[Q] Help! How to root and get the custom rom MIUI?

Hello!
I wanted to install this custom rom to my Xperia S LT26i ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2222540 ) and now am stuck at rooting.
I unlocked the bootloader successfully but after that am supposed to set custom recovery like Clockworkmod and for that i tried RecoverX tool.. I set the recovery for my device and then it downloads, but the main issue starts at installing the recovery where it always shows error #4. I found out about it and it says that there's no busybox installed in my device and when I installed it via playstore, I tried all the versions available but none of them would install stating an error and try for another version. And also, I found out that there's no bin folder in my phone containing SU file. I don't know what exactly is SU and how & when to gain the access to it.
In short: 1. How to install busybox?
2. How to gain access to SU?
3. How to set custom recovery?
4. And after all the above are sorted, how to get that custom rom in my device?
P.S.: You guys might have guess with my questions that am a first timer as well as have no knowledge of these things. So, please explain me in the most simple language coz i dont understand these technical terms. Thanks

[Completed] Cant't seem to get a custom recovery to work, despite being rooted.

Ok so a bit of background on the hardware I am using a y300 and have the bootloader unlocked and the phone rooted. I have done so in hopes of installing a custom rom (slim kat probably) but the custom recoveries just don't want to work on this phone! I have installed clockword and TWRP (which I have installed, in-app, by img since it refuses to download from the internet?) but yet whenever I go to recovery, even from within these apps I am in what looks like a stock android recovery and cannot install my rom (says installation aborted or something similar). I have granted root access on both and am pulling my hair out at this stage. I have experience with Galaxy's installing custom ROM's so I am not a total novice but this has stumped me, anyone able to offer any advice?
Thank you in advance!
When root is not properly installed, a custom recovery gets overwritten at boot with the stock recovery. This may the issue you are having!
I'd reccomend asking in this thread here [Guide] Huawei Ascend Y300 Unlock & Root
Some of the users with the same phone, Y300, may be able to help you!

A Little after help like Tips to Install Supersu, Titanium backup, Xposed Frameworks ( Only Thing i Know is the Names) will be helpful.

no , dont extract.
just rename and place the file/s on the following destination C:\Users\(your user name)\.flashTool\firmwares
then open flashtool, , it'll appear where the firmware appears.
alternatively , you can use an app called, Kingroot, to root the device (simple)... and then install recovery as instructed in that post.
Quite Easy, just follow these steps and download some files;
1. Download D6603_23.0.A.2.93 Kitkat firmware and flash via flashtool,
2. Then download GIEFROOT ROOT and root Kitkat with GIEFROOT,
3. Download XZ DUAL RECOVERY for Z3, and Install recovery via PC,
4. After installing recovery, download flashable .291 MM Update and flash it through recovery!!!
5. Hurrah!!! Enjoy the newly rooted device!!!
*Search on XDA for required files or, ask me.
1-Make bootloader unlocked.
2-Install TW-RP
3-Flash the prerooted .291 kernel number rom or another prerooted rom.

Both seems to be possible. Haven't tested the needrom method yet and i wonder if it's worth it.

I'm sorry, i forgot to update the thread. TWRP added to the first post
Hi guys, I received yesterday my Oukitel k10000 pro. I put in root a dozen MTK phones but this one is very annoying.
I tried to make a root by fastboot by first unlocking the boot and then flashing the recovery with TWRP. with needrom method . Result: bricked phone, blocked on the start logo.
Required to flash with the original rom with the utility SP flash tools: always "ERROR: STATUS_BROM_CMD_DA_FAIL (0xC00660003)"
finally it works if I format memory first ... the original rom is reinstalled but I lost nvram ... arrrrrrrggggggg
My phone is now in stock, but I lost my Imei ... dirt.
I was able to install TWRP via fastboot on the second try, TWRP starts in Russian and does not recognize the size of partitions that do all 0KB and can not mount partitions ..... I think this version of TWRP is not compatible yet with this phone!
I do not know what to do to root this damn phone properly.
*Has anyone managed to root this phone properly?
EDIT: Finally Nvram restored with SN_Writer_Tool_v1.1728 . Exellent software.

Wrote imei manually in engineering mode cause i not found it
The twrp on first post cause bootloop someone need to delete it...
BTW this is my temporary solution for root and use this phone:
1) i downgraded the phone to the previous build
2) after that I lose imiei
3) flashed twrp by needrom NB. (When u open this twrp u need to flash supersu or will get bootloop)
4) It will boot and u will get root
5) open engineering menu and open GPRS section, then fill imei manually and press write, reboot and voilà imei back and phone rooted.
Problems:
-U can't boot twrp after that or u will get bootloop(I think) if someone's want to test...
-U need to stay on older build to have it working
-If u upgrade u lose root
-SuperSU not pass safety net
Pro:
-U have root and imei back
Ps. I'm totally a noob on battery related stuff... I bought this phone for his battery... But my question is: after all this flash to get all working (before found this solution I flashed like 20 times) I need to make a cycle of battery charge or it is OK? Thanks
MT6755
Hey!
Anyone knows that is there a rom for MT6755? I have that version on my K10000 Pro,
and currently phone is without an OS.. So im kinda stuck in here.
Or is it that i just don't know what im doing..? ^^ First time rooting.
It went sideways, and phone has only twrp flashed.
Personally, I resold it. the sound is really execrable.
The K10000 max impressed me so I ordered one despite I dont real need one
I hope OREO will come soon
there is a new version on needrom.com OUKITEL_K10000_Pro_V6.0_20170726. but the recovery from V.1 is not working.. (cant go to reecovery and creates bootloop) if u find a new recovery pls post it here. Thx in advance!

How to fix the (twrp) error 7 while installing custom rom

This post is interesting for you if :
- you can't flash any rom or upgrade your operating system
- you're running twrp and you get : "updater process ended with error 7"
- you can't update twrp
You need to know the basics (like flashing a rom or installing twrp (or you'll find it on other threads))
You're going to full reset you're phone, dont forger to make backups!
You're the only one responsible of what happens to your phone! You proceed at your own risk! Be sure you always know what you're doing!
All the links will be given for the oneplus X
The first thing you need to do is mega unbrick your phone mega unbrick for OneplusX
Then, just turn on the phone, skip the bigest part of the "welcome process" and go into the settings. Follow this guide to install twrp (the most recent version you're phone is able to run). Once twrp is installed properly, you're gonna update your Boot Loader and install twrp one more Time (this time the last update, given by twrp) follow this guide : update BL and install twrp
Once it's done, you should be able to install any rom you want and run the very last update of you're favorite OS
I hope you guys found this post helpfull
