Do Pre-Orders take a long time to ship? - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Preorder starts on 11/17. If I do it when do you guys think I'd get the phone. I'm in the USA.
Just wondering based on what you've heard.

There are threads discussing this on the OnePlus forums, the timeframe varies wildly.

Also, does anyone know if preorders are opened for an entire day or just like one hour?
I'm obvioulsly asking because I can't find it when searching.
(I say this because I know xda loves to say "HAHAHAHA GO SEARCH FOR IT YOU NOOB")

Google: OnePlus pre order
Look at the first result.

Got it. But heres a more tricky question: for preorders do I have to pay with paypal or can I use a credit card?
I bet you cant answer that!

Are you trolling or what? All of the information you're asking for is readily available at the OnePlus site.

mmm also can you give me 3 invites? I don't need 1, I need 3. One for me and two for my friends. Thanks!
edit: if you only have 1 dont bother giving it to me, I need 3. Because I don't want my friends to be jealous.

Well, obviously you're not trying to search at all before posting. I'd advise you to review the forum rules and make some effort to follow them in the future. Thanks.
Here's the right thread for invites, BTW. Thread closed.

how long have you had to wait?
its bs lol
I got mine in July and got my invites end of August/beginning of September
This question doesn't belong on XDA at all. Plus this is the second time you've created the same thread.
Look in the invites section of your OnePlus account for the answer.

There's a thread dedicated, have a look and you'll find it.

[Completed] [Q] Typical Sob Story (m8)

I'm sure you guys hear this happen way too often but I am in tough spot, I bought a HTC m8 (for T-Mobile) off craigslist and it had a bad imei and as usual the guy won't respond to my calls/texts. I know I am stupid for letting this happen to me but I feel like there's a way out if this, I'm just not exactly sure what to do. If any could list me all my options that would be great and if you need to know its running 4.4.4
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. What do you mean by bad IMEI?

Bad Imei meaning that the person i bought the phone from didn't completely pay off the phone so they blacklisted the phone, so that if i were to want to use the phone i wouldn't be able to.
I see. There's really not much you can do, short of continuing to contact the seller, or contacting your local consumer rights organisation.

Changing the IMEI of a phone is illegal. XDA Developers only operates within and respects the laws of the world, therefore such a thing cannot be discussed on XDA.

Alright, I was wondering where in the written law shows that it's illegal to change the IMEI number.

It depends on where you are, doing some research should uncover it. As I said before though, this topic isn't up for discussion on XDA, it never has been and it never will be. My suggestion is to contact your local consumer rights organisation and see how they can help you. Good luck with your phone!

Standard shipping

Just bought a 16 gb silk white. Has anyone ever had one shipped to Tennessee and how long should it take? Just ordered half hr ago
It'll be there in 30 minutes. Seriously though, there are several threads discussing this on the OnePlus forums, plus a thread dedicated to it here in our General section, it's usually a couple of days to a week to anywhere in the US.

That's fine, but it's irrelevant to this guy's question. Euro has a different warehouse location, he's asking how long to ship to an American city.

What was snobby or condescending about my reply? All I did was ask a question.
This site IS for research.......That people share and others SEARCH for.
justify it however you want.

We need more people like you haha. I'm not willing to risk my device on previous root methods, but in the absense of any devs working on new root exploits for g920v MM, previous root methods are our only chance right now.

Your previous comment and this comment add no value to this thread for assistance. Honestly, if you don't have any input that helps us toward the goal asked by the OP, why answer at all? Requesting he simply search doesn't answer his question. How do you know he already didn't search and could not find a satisfactory answer? A simple "no" would of sufficed. After all, that's what a discussion forum is about. What I have also seen from results of a search for an answer are other people asking the same question in which replies were telling them to search. See a pattern?
The answer to the original question is No, there is no root YET for 6.0 at this time for the VZW S6.

How did YOU find out there was no root yet? You did a search, correct?
This forum is clogged with people asking the same questions over and over, when all it would take is simple search. Instead they want others to do the work for them.

I will take the high road and no longer respond after this. An answer was provided and further replies are pointless. Reply to get your last word in as I know you want to.

Based on what you're saying, if I would have responded with "Have you seen anything posted........ Anywhere? No it's not rootable yet". That would have been OK?
Well, I'm glad to see that you two have mastered the art of bickering via the internet - welcome to an exclusive club with only 500 million members.
Please - follow the rules, the 1st of which is SEARCH (that means outside of XDA as well) before posting and only post when contributing. Also, leave the "scolding" or "educating" of members to staff.
Thank you - thread closed.
