Hypothetical Question:
What do you think will happen to any store return units?
If a company bought a pallet of store returns and opened all the boxes and ran functional tests on all the units, ran the screen calibration and completed the newest OTA install, tested the cable, power supply, and SD card partition and put the unit and all the documentation back in the box and shrink wrapped the box all back to stock and like brand new, how much do you think the "UNIT" should sell for?
What would you call such a unit:
New tested open stock.
Like new tested open stock.
Open stock.
Return tested factory reset?
Reconditioned?
Or would you call it something else?
Would the unit have extra value if you knew it had been burned in, tested, and updated to latest factory specs.?
Do you think the factory warranty would still apply?
What kind of return policy would be fair?
10 days and purchaser pays return shipping?
10 days and purchaser pays return shipping and 15% restocking fee?
Notice this is Hypothetical and I did not mention any brand in particular.
Thank you for reading this, thank you for your opinion/input.
Hey guys, first post here.
I'v had the Tf700 for about 3 weeks now, and finally decided to plug her into a dock.
When I do so, nothing happens. No notification, no audible beep, nothing.
When I first recieved the tab, I noticed what I believed was simple cosmetic damage to the metal bezel above the right dock slot.
Not sure if this is related, but it seems it has to be.
Dock IS functional with another Infinity
I have Swiftkey installed, but tried after a force stop and unistallation.
Next is factory reset, but I am confident this is hardware relataed.
Who should I contact regarding this?
I purchased from Amazon, but have PMed Gary.
Will post pics later
Any input is greatly appriciated
Thanks

nevermind, cant post pics yet

I tried this method. It seems to be docked and working. Thank you, Sir....
...Of course I tried turning it off and on again.
If factory reset doesn't help, I would certainly consider RMA.
Mine had a scratch inside the mount from the very beginning, but it's been working fine, so I wasn't worried about that. I'm rather amazed you haven't tried it for these three weeks that you had it, especially after seeing some kind of damage, hopefully they'll believe you it was there from the beginning.
I sent them a RMA.
Only problem, device is unlocked.
Factory reset did not fix.
This should be interesting.

Shouldn't be a problem if it's only the dock that you're returning. Try telling them it's been working fine with another dock and also check in the meantime if it does just to know what you're dealing with

Nono. Its the tab that is broken. Tried on 2 separate docks. Both dock work on another tab.
Just realized i can posts attachments
Sorry, now I see what you meant (it's probably time to sleep for me).
RMA and hope for the best (it's better to report these when you notice them, or at least check if it's working, btw). I believe there is no reason for them to reject your RMA, as unlocking had nothing to do with it, but keep us posted.
welp, finally got a answer

What to do now??
I already posted the same question on the oneplus forum, and some guy said it's the camera lens' fault and it's normal. But a few more opinion does not hurt
I recently, for error, shaked my OPO and noticed that there is something inside that make a rattling noise when shaked. I saw other threads about it but no clear response of what could it be, or if it is normal. The noise is very very soft but if you shake it near the ear you can clearly hear it.
It's normal. It is to do with the camera. It happens on various smartphones.

Im posting this here in hope to get an answer to my issue.
I sold my 2 year old samsung tab T813 on ebay recently. The buyer said it kept rebooting and the battery life was bad, this had never, ever happened in 2 years of owning it. So they returned it and ebay refunded them.
The issue I have is they FRP locked the tablet to their google account. I boot it up and type the buyers phone number and it sends a code to their mobile phone. The buyer will not give me this code as she thinks I am hacking her...ie.. she is worried and unsure as to what im talking about. Anyway, the comms were fine until ebay refunded her. The moment she got refunded she ignores all my messages.
So where do I stand now in terms of getting this tablet into functioning order again?
None of my computers detect the tablet even in download mode. Well, it charges the tablet but ODIN don't recognise the tablet so I cannot flash firmware.
I have tried numerous computers, different MS operating systems, numerous odin versions, numerous micro USB cables (inc original), numerous hours with no luck.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I believe it was on 7.0
FRP is locked when you try modifying and playing with your system without unlocking your bootloader and Hence RIP..........
if the person (who you sold on ebay) did it, report it immediately. if you did it, so uhh.... you are responsible for that.
Solutions:
wipe internal storage and cache from recovery
rest my knowledge ends here

The last owner set up their google account during setup of the tablet.
You say wipe internal storage and cache from recovery. Don't that still render the tablet useless? ie.. will need to reload a firmware onto it? well.. another problem.. None of my micro usb cables work with odin to any of my computers. Apparently common problem on the TAB S2.
I tried different stuff but nothing worked so far. Not even the fastboot unlock. I did not find a guide either. Is there a way?
Hello! Another interested... I can't find much information about this phone
I just bought this phone recently off Amazon, I bought it because it was cheap and my note 20 ultra had died. It was on sale and seemed a no brainer. After purchase I started looking it up and I found a page that claimed blackview will supply unlock codes per request. At the time I didn't have the phone yet so i didn't look into it very thoroughly. But may be a place to start.
What brought me here now that I have the phone is there isn't much mention of this phone on here I was hoping I might find some information about an option in developer options that looks like its supplying me with android 13 and 14 pre-release images that I can flash? I don't want to just go ahead and flash them as it seemed odd to me they were there at all.
Do you guys have this in yours?
