One of the cool little things I noticed when I got my OnePlus One a few weeks ago, was how the Google Calendar app icon would show the current days date. But all of a sudden, yesterday and today it went back to the default 31 number on the icon ?
Look at this screenshot I took on Sunday Nov. 9th. The calender app icon is on the bottom right, showing that days date. Before it would always show the current date in the icon, but just stopped doing that now.
Just curious why it stopped all of a sudden ?

Looks like you were using a custom icon pack? Are you still using the same one?

The calendar date worked fine on this icon pack the past week I've had it no problem. I just switched back to the stock icon, and it just shows 28 the default icon number, not the current date. Switching back to Atran and just goes back to 31.

what you will need to do is long press on the calendar app & drag it to edit
then click calendar icon to change it when the next window opens slide over to built in tab & select the first default calendar icon

ok try this then slide back over to your theme tab & select the very first icon at the top then slide back over to built in tab and select the very first icon under default and see if it changes then
it works for me doing it like this in the app drawer the icon should change right away but on the home screen you will have to open the folder with calendar in it for it to change then all should be good

well i don't know then bro like i said it works for me doing it like that
I got it working again. I deleted my calendar .apk and both system app and priv app, using Root Explorer. And then I downloaded new Ines from Calk's 2.1 and installed those .apk. And it works
Not so fast. Look closely at this picture. Under the weather widget shows todays date 11-13 but the calendar icon shoes the 12th from yesterday.
I dirty flashed Calk's 2.1 , and everything working

Hold the contact icon and slide it there. Then it will ask what icon u want to use and done

How do I remove the stock shortcuts that are at the bottom of the screen with Launcher Pro> i can easily add in others, for a total of 15, but I want to remove some of the ones that are pre-installed.

Just hold your finger down on them until the menu pops up. If you want fewer dock screens (5 or 10 icons instead of 15 as you scroll) you can change that in menu > preferences > dock settings > number of docks.
The weather next to the clock does not change. Anyone else have this bug? I have removed my city and re added it and it still has the same temp and weather. If I go yo accuweater in the app it is correct.

Mine is having problems, but not sure if the same one. When I go into Daily Briefing the weather just keeps trying to load, followed by a forceclose. I will keep an eye on the main Home Dock screen to see if it changes.

I think it's some kinda outage because mine stopped working as well. I think it happened late Fri night or Sat. If you go to the app drawer and select weather (the HTC app, not News & Weather, Accuweather, etc.) and hit the update button, it'll show no data as well (see the screenshot below). Now, question is, who do we burn at the stake, Sprint or HTC…?*
I was just googling it right now, cause I have 2 Evos, one stock, one rooted Myn's and both have the weather problem.
Mine is back. Yay! I did one of my "daily reboots" and weather is back now.

I thonk it's not possible. Even on CM9 or CM7 or any other ROM I tried on my Defy this was not possible with the google calendar app.

I tried that, but after a while, month view still comes up as default.
Not working when I click on the time inside notifier drawer. A window pop up with... no application blah blah.. any one have any idea? May be clock package wrongly named? The calendar feature is working ok.
Slimbean 2.8 on I9000.
Are you clicking on the clock after you pull the notification draw down? Cause mine goes to alarms. Also does your notification exapnder thingy work. What I mean is like can you expand the gmail messages in the drawer?

Hi friend, just thought I'd mozzy on in here real quick. Just so you know, it does not matter the name of the apk. As long as the extension of the file is correct (.apk) it should work. The reason why is when Android looks at the apk's, it does not care the name of the file, it only cares what the package name says in the Androidmanifest.xml that is INSIDE of the apk.
wildstang83, Thanks for the info. Everything work fine except for this clock thing. I have wipe/flash and even format SD card then re-flash the slimbean 2.8 and it still not working. I imagine this problem is isolate otherwise I would see it pop up in slimbean thread already. I cant post there yet because of the post count limit.

Pull down your notification, click on the clock, does it work?
Flash Slimbean 2.9 this morning and problem fixed. As I have multiple alarm clock installed, it pop up and ask me to choose which one to use...

this will give you the option for EasyMode under the settings/ Personalize / Home Screen.
once on your new homescreen you can swipe left or right, left for quick contacts, and right to add quick apps.
just flash in recovery and enjoy

No but it did remove the icon from the dock and I had to put it back from the app drawer. It also seemed to disable the green notification on the messaging icon when a message arrives . I loaded it just to see what it was like, won't be going back on after next flash.
