N8013 - Boots up only to Galaxy Note logo
with VOLUME DOWN + POWER button I can get to the ODIN MODE
can connect with ODIN on my PC ... but do not know
what is the next step to get Note 10.1 to work
PLEASE HELP
thx
Next step is to download the latest and greatest for the n8013, and flash it. Depending on the version of Odin you have, it might be the PDA button you use to load the stock ROM with.
You can find the stock image you need on sites like this http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N8013 but search around, because there are much faster places to download from out there.
Downloaded, Flashed ....
1st try: KIES_HOME_N8013UEUCMI3_N8013XARCMI3_813049_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
ODIN says PAS but after reboot, stopped on Galaxy Note logo
2nd try: N8013RootInjectedSystem.tar
ODIN says PAS but after reboot, stopped on Galaxy Note logo
I see what your issue is then. They both worked, just boot into recovery and do a factory wipe, then it should boot up fine.
unforunately there is no Factory Reset option
only ODIN MODE

try holding power and vol+ for at least 10 seconds, and keep holding it. or try power and volume down for 10+ seconds.
should attempt to get you into recovery or download mode.

i can go to the recovery mode and download mode..i already flash my tab in download mode and wipe data in recovery mode.but the problem still there
so what should i do?
see if you can get an adb log, you could also try Samsung Kies (2.0) It may have trouble finding device/ installing drivers; you might want to connect it in download mode. There are emergency recovery options in Kies I think, but its probably same thing as Odin. Are you sure that is the correct firmware for your device? are you familiar with Odin? possible bad flash/disconnected?/bad cable?
i recommend try flashing whatever firmware you originally had. a full stock one with .pit file would be ideal.
try sammobile.com/firmwares

Try this instructions carefully. It works for any samsung phones:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27043121&postcount=9
but in step 3, when it says if you weren't in GB, don't worry about it. What it is, if you change version of android (i.e. from Honeycomb to ICS and vice versa), than you need to include pitfile and repartition, as well as flashing dbdata.rfs.
Thanks buddy
I will try as u suggested
and will come back soon after flashing
thanks
still same problem please help
i tried flashing as u suggested and successfully compleated but still restarting only 1 thing improved that is now am able to switch off my tab
please guys help me dnt wanna loose my tab
and 1 more thing in odeen, where i can put dbdata file
please help
You can flash dbdata on pda field as well. Make sure you use the correct file. Before you proceed with it, can you go to recovery mode and do factory wipe? Let me know if you got any mounting error message or not after wipe.
Nore: if you need a pitfile, you can download this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/misc.php?do=showattachments&t=1441350
Any solution yet? My device suddenly acting the same way when I doing Factory Reset in cmw recovery. I've try doing reflashing via odin to xxkl7 and dxkl3 with no lock, im still stuck bootlooping on first splash screen.
Something I found is that if Im flashing the rom using heimdall, it always failed on flashing the cache, with a message saying that heimdall being crash. Any advice?
continue holding vol up and power through 2 reboots, you should get recovery mode.
My device also experiences similar symptoms when formating /data. Perhaps the file system is corrupt or mild superbrickbug.
Anyways what I usually do Is Odin back to stock, when it passes it hangs at boot, reboot to recovery and factory reset/ wipe data. Should boot now.
For /cache issue. try the first step I mentioned to get into recovery and wipe /cache, actually format it too, if you have CWM Recovery. Wipe dalvik and factory reset too. Then I would try Odin to stock. And again wipe /data if stock Odin doesnt boot.
good luck.
I tried to flash my tab 2 10.1 (P5110) several times, but after succesful flash I cannot boot in CWM. It keeps going to Android Recovery mode.
I flashed in Odin 3.09 and used this guide.
Afte a couple attempts I went back to the stock firmware, after which I tried flashing my device again. Now I unchecked the restart button in Odin and emediatly tried to reboot it in the CWM recovery without a restart......again no result and only the Android recovery.
Anyone ideas how to solve this issue? Thanks!!!

I forgot to tell, but I did also tried the Heimdall flash. Same dissapointing result. Thanks anyway!
please try Odin 3.07.
uncheck "auto-reboot" in Odin too.
if Odin finished flashing: wait 1 minute to be sure
now DIRECTLY boot into Recovery! Don't boot the System!
Enjoy your new recovery!

Do you mean Stock Recovery still there?
If yes: uncheck "Auto-Reboot" in Odin and flash the recovery again. When Odin finished flashing, wait 1 Minute to be sure. Now DIRECTLY boot from Download-Mode into Recovery! Don´t boot the System!
Welcome CWM

@danger2u
If KIES installed, please kill KIES and every KIES and Samsung Process running in background!
Run Odin as Administrator.
Uncheck "Auto-Reboot" in Odin, also make sure "re-partition" UNCHECKED!
Add the recovery.tar.md5 as PDA.
Boot into Download-Mode and connect it to your PC - Odin will show "Added!"
Now Press Start.
When Odin finished flashing: wait 1 minute.
Now press Power-Button & Volume UP at the Same time! Keep them pressing!
When you see the Samsung Logo, stop pressing the Power-Button but KEEP PRESSING the Volume UP button for 5 Seconds.
It´s all about timeing. Also make sure you are using the right recovery for your device!
Btw.:
What error are you getting exactly in Stock Recovery?
Can you still boot your Rom (even if it reboots)?
Edit:
Else you can try flashing the recovery.img using Heimdall (you can extract the recovery.img from the *.tar.md5 using 7-ZIP) - but don´t ask me for instructions on Heimdall it´s different from Odin - but as i read it seems to be safer.

Hey all,
I have got a Note 10.1 GT-N8013 16gb WiFi that appears to be soft bricked. I rooted it, no custom rom, a couple years ago. The other day i pulled it outta my bag to find it frozen on the black Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 screen. I tried rebooting it and it never would boot any further. I have tried the suggestions of re flashing stock firmware and have not had any luck. I even tried flashing stock firmware with a pit file. I cannot access Clock Work recovery. It crashes as soon as the writing appears on the bottom left of the screen. I do not know what to do now. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hello guys,
after days of reading and trying i decided to open a thread.
I got my Samsung stuck on Erasing Screen after an update.
I tried to Flash Stock Rom via ODIN. The Flash passed but after Booting the device stuck on the Bluescreen with "Erasing" on the bottom.
I tried Flashing with Pit, and without. With Nand erase and without. With Re-partition and without.
I can not access recovery with VOL UP + Home + Power.
Device is not rooted.
I am very thankful for any advice.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry,
it is a G930F
I downloaded the File from SamFirm (G930FXXU2ERE8_CL13438344_QB18102270_REV00) and used Odin3 v3.13.1.
any solutions?
I have exactly the same Problem.
Did you find a possibility to fix that ?
I´m going crazy with that my device is unrootet and on stock Rom when it came into bootloop , i tried to fix it with Odin a couple of times used the latest Firmware from Samfirm but it doesnt work and gets stuck on erasing Screen and keeps on restarting . I can always get into download mode but i cant open the recovery . Another thingis that my System Status in the download mode says custom ?? i never flashed a custom Rom on it Does anyone know if i can bring it back to Samsung like that because i still have a guarantee
i would be so thankful for your help guys
cheers
Had a similar issue before with an S6, and one of the workarounds that works for a lot of samsung issues is to flash the phone through ODIN with a repair firmware and a pit file. If im remembering right the firmware files are AP, CP, BL and CSC, also the pit file. you gotta check repartition in odin too.
any idea how to fix this ? In the same boat, can't figure out how to solve this.
same thing happened to me, i can't get it to work
