[Q] MX Player DTS Support on Minix Neo X7

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and I found this forum looking for a solution to play videos with DTS sound with MX Player. I read the thread "
MX Player Custom Codec With DTS Support [v1.7.19]" concerning the install of the custom codec, but because I'm new I could not reply on this thread. I hope it is OK that I post my question here.
I own a minix neo x7 android device (version 4.2.2) with MX player version 1.7.19. I followed the procedure mentioned in the above thread but it did not work for my device.
Any users here have experience with minix neo X7, MX player and DTS sound?
Thanx very much in advance for your answers.
Erik

I just ordered the X7, and am REALLY hoping to get DTS playback from the unit. At the very least, I would accept downmix, but I have had several players fail to play MKV with DTS altogether.

[Q] About Audio Decoder

Hello! This is my first time for posting here.
First, thank you for developing such a good video player apps! I am using MX player Pro in my Tablet. I am enjoying with it!
Recently, when I play some videos in MX player, I hear both Cantonese and Korean at the same time. Only one sound track I can choose.
When I play these videos in my computer, I use the "mixer" in ffdshow audio decoder for playing only Cantonese.
I wonder that if I could do the same thing in MX player? If yes, could you please teach me or refer some post about it for me?
Thank you very much!
Information:
Devices : Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet
Video info: See attachment please.

It looks like each language is mixed in different chennels of a single track instead of seperate track per language. Right now multiple chennels are downsampled to stereo in order to play properly in Android devices.
That's why you are hearing both audio.
So, I think it's not possible to play only 2 out of 4 channels of a single track. In PC it's possible through channel configuration. It's android limitation.

[Q] PlayOn MX Player Issue Still?

I saw the previous post for 9 months ago on this but I still have the identical problem with using Playon as a media server and using MX Player. Here it is:
If I try to play the file through the Playon App and select MX Player for video it say "Can't play video"
If I first select the stock video player app, let it play for a few seconds then back out and try the MX Player directly it plays fine . . .
What's up?
Please keep the same issue in one thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/mx-player/bug-playon-mx-player-t2741095

As you all know that MX player is the best app for videos as it provides many facilities and subtitle supporting player till now no problem arose but later after the latest update MX player is showing a problem faced by lot of people that AC 3 format not supported. Now this problem can be solved.
1.Firstly download MX codec latest version
2.Secondly go to MX player open settings go to decoder and choose the codec file.

VC-1 mkv files don't play

Hello,
I'm using the mx player pro on a Sony Xperia 1.
HP.264 mkv files work fine. VC-1 mkv files don't play. VLC player is able to play the VC-1 files on this device.
I use mx player because of the ability to change subtitle position. VLC doesn't have this feature.
Can there anything be done to make Vc-1 mkv files play on MX Player?
Thank you for helping.

We regret the inconveniences caused. Hello,
Due to other reasons I had to reset the app preferences(system-> reset options -> reset app preferences). After this the MX Player Pro was able to play VC-1 on a Sony Xperia 1. But after a while, without changing anything the situation was the same as described in the first post.
Best regards
Same here. Videos containing codec VC-1 can't play video without problem. When I play video after 3 minutes frames are reduced to 3-5 FPS. About 5 minutes video is freeze.
