Custom case - Sony Xperia M2

Can anyone recommend somewhere I can buy a custom case, but a flip cover one?
I want to add my own photo, but I can only find hard back covers and I want one like this: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/mercury-wallet-stand-case-for-sony-xperia-m2-black-p47345.htm
Or this: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/nillkin-sony-xperia-m2-view-case-white-sparkle-p47284.htm

i have the one from the 2nd link, the black version of it and i just want to let you know that you wont like it, i had to remove the cover and left only the back silicone case, because its ugly as hell. Though no idea where you can buy those, in my country they are sold in every corner of the city

Thanks for the reply.
Nowhere in this country seems to sell customisable ones for the M2.
I want it as a Christmas gift for my wife, so got plenty of time to find one.

White Back Cover- Genuine or Fake!

Hi guys, sorry for another thread about a white galaxy s cover! So, the situation is that on Ebay I can find a fake white cover for the Galaxy S for around £3-4 (very cheap). Also, I have found a genuine white cover for £8ish from a top seller in Uk so i presume it is genuine. So I wondered which one to go for? I mean, I don't want a cheap one to not fit and be good quality because that would be a waste of money and I would end up purchasing a genuine one! Anybody had a fake cover??? How well do they fit??
Thanks
I bought one. Mine is definitely fake, as 99% of them are if you're getting it off Ebay. It doesn't have the Google sign on the back.
It fits very well, almost perfect. It's slightly larger than the OEM battery cover, maybe a mm or two outward-back. The plastic feels fine. I'd buy it again. For that price, what do you have to lose?
edit: I bought a white battery cover, and a red plastic case: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/$(KGrHqMOKiUE3GS6E42QBN081,hMLg~~0_12.JPG
Looks quite good, the white and red combination.
edit2: Just buy it from the HK seller. Local sellers just buy it from HK by the bulk, and then resell it. You'll likely get the same thing from either.
Great! Ill bear that in mind thanks i think i will order one today!

There's a guy doing legit galaxy s backs in black/purple on eBay for like £3 each ... they're from 14 day returns but the 3 I got were mint
@chachi could you post the link please?
if u dont wanna buy a new case u can also tune ur old case with beautiful skins like these:
- cant post links, so i just can give u an example for a great shop: skins4u
i had buy a white skin last week and it just look awe! =)
# sorry if i'm far away from topic but maybe for some people like me, skins are good alternates for tuning ur phone

Seller name is headlaneltd
Genuine will all be £8+ for brand new , otherwise all 14 day/used stock or copies which the market seems to be flooded with , unfortunately
I really don't see the problem in fake ones, quality is really good, and the price from the original is quite different. I vote fake
Those white fake covers may look good , but they don't have a sharp click when it's snapped on like the original cover .
So my guess is upon repeated usage of taking and putting back the cover , it might get so loose , that it won't fit anymore

Replacement phone slider

My phone broke and I just received a replacement . I will skip the horror story with that process. Suffice to say I don't want to go through that again but the replacement phone has a real loss slide which opens too easily and won't stay open when in landscape and using the keyboard.
I live a an hour from a repair store and was wondering if this is an adjustment that can be made in the store...I don't want to have to get a replacement,
Put a protective case on it. Wont slide as easily. The black one sprint sells is good.

That's actually a good idea . Because the alternative involves opening up the phone, and tightening down the tabs. Not a fun task . Also time consuming.

I was wondering if it was possible to easily tighten the keyboard up, but I guess not. Slider's are the only phones I haven't taken apart and fixed, I'm too scared that I'm gonna ruin it and have two parts and no phone lol.. Still waiting on another case from Amazon, until then guess I'll have to hold it horizontal to use the keyboard.
Best Buy also has a clear acrylic case that I've been using that works really well. I like it more than other cases because the top part has a solid line "tab" all the way across instead of the two small ones on the corners so there's less of a chance that you break a tab off on an end and no longer have your front face.
I don't think theirs comes with a holster though. I'm still using the black holster i got from a previous case.

Check out this aftermarket s view flip case i saw!! what you think?

Saw it on Ebay, looks really nice, has a kick stand, the s4 and galaxy logo, made with leather, the s-view window, place to hold a credit card, several colors, and able to press home button with cover closed. Check it out and tell me what you think:

which one was the one you ordered? do u have a link of it?
Looks great.
Got everything I wanted.
S View
Color - Hot Pink or any shades of Pink that's nice
Just 1 card slot to put my EZ-link card. Something only Singapore have.
I don't need the stand but its good.
And the cover from the side not slick enough.
Pity though, was gonna buy right away but they may not ship to Singapore. Can I see the one at Amazon?
Might just work with a wireless charging back though !

Maybe this one? Tempted but looks like it will be too thick.
http://www.amazon.com/Tridea-Samsun...187&sr=1-17&keywords=samsung+galaxy+s4+s+view
Does the Amazon one carry other colours?
I link that, its almost a perfect solution. I think that Samsung needs to add a home button like this and a whole for the notification LED. But I may just order one.
im allmost buying the tridea, if it wouldnt be for the added thickness. the s4 is so beatiful and tiny... its allmost a shame to put it into a big case.
the official samsung case is equally expensive... thinner, but the window is not scratch free and user complaints that it doesnt close 100%
i never thought it would be this much hazzle finding the perfect cover...

o ok, i have seen that case but i like how the one I saw on ebay comes in diff colors, has the home button access, and all the logos, just not sure how bulky it will be when i have it one, i want my phone to still be quite small, let me know when you have yours in! im interested to see how it fits in your hands when you have it on your phone!!

Are the Nexus 9 Folio covers reversible?

Since the folio covers are 2 sided with different colors, I'm wondering: can you flip the folio case over if you want to change colors?
I like the peach/maroon colored folio cover (Coral Amethyst), but I would much rather have the Maroon showing for the front than the Peach side shown in stock photos.
I think the Vietnamese YouTube review video floating around showed the lime cover attached, with the lime facing out on the back of the device. That would mean that if you close the cover, the lime is inside, and the darker navy (?) is on the outside. It would seem to be reversible.
you can teach me how to do this okay?

I watched the cover in use in a french video posted in another thread, and it doesn't look like there hinges to close the cover, like you're imagining. Looking at the video, it looks like you peel the cover entirely off the front and then stick it to the back, and vice versa. It doesn't seem to fold around on a hinge like the iPad smart cover. In which case, I guess you can probably stick it to the tablet in either direction each time you "close" it. I wish it had the hinge though. I don't really want to buy a cover that comes entirely off every time I want to use my tablet...

You're right. The first video review was out before the French one, and didnt show it being taken off and put on the back, I think. From the French video, I agree, it appears hingeless, but it is probably reversible. I still have one pre-ordered from Amazon but, ugh, I kind of want it attached in some way too. But who knows! Maybe from now on I will prefer ones that come off entirely. Those magnets better be strong enough to keep it from shifting or flopping around.

And that's the thing as well. I don't want to pull my tablet out of a bag and have the cover left behind. But my other issue with it is that it seems like it will be a hassle to take it off and put it on. The iPad smart covers are so easy to flip open and closed with one hand because you don't have to line it up and you only have to grab one side of it. Seems like moving the magic cover around may be quite the ordeal. I might end up getting one anyways, I don't know. Since I can't seem to order one to Canada yet anyways, I guess I'll wait and see how everyone else ends up liking it. In the meantime, my nexus 9 will either be naked or wearing a MOFRED Ultra Slim case (basically a smart cover knockoff) that I managed to order from the UK for £0.01 haha

I'm not sure about the status of my Amazon order (still says not yet shipped), but it is supposed to arrive on Wednesday. So is my tablet but again, still not shipped yet. I'll give a quick update when they get here and I have a chance to try it out. It's a $40 gamble but I usually end up liking the OEM accessories, as overpriced as they are.

I can see how you can make the assumption that you can just flip the cover around, but then you're not accounting that flipping around the cover could reverse the polarity of the magnet, thereby making the other side of the cover repel away from the tablet rather than being attracted to it. I hope I'm wrong though..

Oh that's an interesting point. I would have never thought of that.... Man, that would be dumb. Well, when someone finally gets one, they'll have to settle all these questions for us once and for all.

I am convinced that i is reversible. If you look at the product page on Google Play, towards the bottom you see two renderings of the cover. Using the green/blue one as an example, the image next to Takes Pictures in a Snap shows it attached to the back, blue side in, green side out, and the corner is folded over.
Immediately below that is another rendering of the cover as a typing stand for the tablet in landscape mode. Blue side is now out, green side is in, and presumably, it's still magnetically attached along that top edge.
But here's an update on the arrival -- I spoke to an Amazon representative this morning who said that they were informed that the covers have been delayed from the manufacturer, and that no retailer has them in stock right now. She said Amazon has been told that they'll receive a shipment on December 1. So, looks like we will all keep waiting to find out for sure.
I think it will work. Magnets repel each other when the poles are opposite while this is magnet to metal which is different. Somebody with a fridge magnet should be able to check easily.

There are in fact magnets in the tablet itself. If you put two Nexus 9 next to each other, side by side, the two tablets will repel each other. I saw a youtube video of this somewhere showing this.
Is nobody concerned about the "inside" of the cover (i.e. the part facing the display) being used as the stand in the upright position? I'm a bit paranoid of it massaging dust/dirt particles into the screen...
